Tsuna is actually leading the pack because he's the most desperate to find his Sun. The others don't seem to be concerned at all, especially the other gods, whose attitude rubs off on the humans.

They cut across part of Sun country to reach the Cloud city at a straight line, but that brings them awfully close to the border of Storm.

About a day out from Cloud country's main city, Verde spots a large cloud flying overhead at an incredible speed.

"Skull!" Colonnello yells up, hands cupped around his mouth to try and get louder.

The cloud comes to an abrupt stop and then zooms down to ground level where the group waits for it.

Skull pops his head over the edge and looks down. "Everyone's going to die!"

Reborn kicks Skull off the cloud and then jumps down after. "It's fine, there's plenty of time before the harvest, stop freaking out."

Skull rolls back to his feet and bites his lower lip because he has a very vivid imagination and watches too many apocalypse horror movies.

Reborn rolls his eyes and nods at the rest. "I'm heading back to Sun country. Who's coming with?"

"Let's all go!" Skull cheers, snapping back to happy in a split second. "I haven't seen you guys in like forever."

"I'm surprised Fon hasn't shown up too," Colonnello jokes.

"I'd rather he not," Mammon grumbles, currently present because they finished work early and teleported over. "He always wants to fight."

The other gods make commiserating noises.

"Is he the strongest god?" Reborn asks curiously.

The others look at him.

"He's physically the strongest," Verde finally answers. "Best in close combat, I suppose. But he's far behind the greatest killer."

"Killer?" Reborn echoes. "Gods don't die, how can someone be the greatest killer?"

Skull looks between them all and Mammon purses their lips.

Reborn sighs and leads the other gods away to just out of earshot of the humans. Tsuna hesitantly tries to follow too but Reborn waves him off.

"I know I'm missing memories," Reborn says to the others. "But I don't know how many memories I'm missing. Just tell me, pretend we only met today and I know nothing."

"Um, there used to be more of us," Colonnello eventually explains to Reborn. "Hundreds upon thousands of Gods, reigning over even the smallest of things; from war to art. There were entire pantheons dedicated to every different continent, sometimes several."

"Their jurisdictions overlapped," Verde continues. "At one point there were a dozen gods of the Sun."

Reborn scoffs. "That, I don't believe."

"Believe what you will," Mammon grumbles. "You were the one that told us about them in the first place."

"Me?" Reborn asks. "Why would I know instead of you?"

"You're the oldest, senpai!" Skull says. "You taught us how to use our powers and trained us up."

Reborn whirls on the Cloud. "Wait, I have weapons and can summon pets too?"

"No," Verde says immediately.

"No?" Colonnello winces.

"Nope, never had them," Mammon muses.

"Yeah!" Skull chirps. "Leon is so cute. I didn't get the chance to show you Oodako, did I-"

Colonnello elbows Skull and the Cloud stutters to a halt. The Rain laughs easily. "Actually, you have a lizard, but definitely no, like, gun or whatever. Not one of those."

Mammon facepalms.

Reborn starts to call them assholes but the air wavers and he looks out to the horizon. Someone is trying to dampen his sunlight.

"Shit," Colonnello grumbles.

The rumble of a storm rolls through the sandy desert of Cloud country and a hazy pillar of dust creeps closer over the horizon, swiftly growing bigger and darker, blotting out the sky.

Colonnello instinctively starts to summon his Rain but snuffs it out a moment later. He would just feed the storm. Him and Verde, even Skull, they can't bring out their full power without risking Fon devouring it all.

The humans hurry up to them, gathering close and preparing for a fight.

"What is it?" Reborn asks, fascinated at the power it holds. "Is that Fon?" Reborn vaguely remembers the name from the awful play.

"He's only one facet of the Storm," Verde explains. "It's too much power and strength in one person – the Storm God was ripped into two a long time ago."

"So there's two of them, but they're weaker?" Tsuna guesses. "Isn't that good?"

Mammon shakes their head. "Weaker is a relative term."

Two tornadoes with cutting windspeeds slow as they approach and circle around the group. The humans wince at the sand slicing into their skin from the wind and try to fight the pull that threatens to drag them into the spin of the storm.

"Hi, Fon!" Skull calls out.

Through the vortex of sand, a figure floats down to the ground and then steps out of the tornado's encirclement without any trouble. Fon's long braid of hair and large sleeves whip around him from the wind.

"Hello," Fon greets.

"You mind turning that off?" Mammon complains, gesturing to the tornado.

"I would mind," Fon muses.

He lunges forward, darting past father than most of then can react. Tsuna steps into his way but gets thrown to the ground before Fon grabs Reborn. The tornado explodes outwards, expanding rapidly and snatching up the group. By the time the gods drag the humans out, Fon is already back in the air with Reborn.

Colonnello tries to move towards them but Kyouya charges out of his tornado with tonfas in his hands and it soon turns into a messy fight.

Reborn yanks on Fon's hair and tries to knee him in the stomach.

"Ow," Fon tsks. "Reborn, stop that." He gets the Sun into a headlock quickly because Fon doesn't want to deal with a gun right now.

Reborn focuses on dispersing the dark weather back to his sunny sky, but Fon tightens his grip and Reborn instinctively starts struggling instead.

Verde's lightning bolt cuts past, just off to the left, and Fon takes them both higher into the sky, flying with the dangerous winds.

Skull forms a cloud at his feet and launches up as well, taking Verde with him. Colonnello stays on the ground to provide support with his anti-tank rifle and Mammon condenses their mist out of the air to cast haze over the battlefield and helps with misdirection.

Reborn heats himself up until Fon has to drop him and the Sun lands on Skull's cloud. The sunlight finally breaks through the storm blocking out the sky and light washes over the ground.

The two pieces of the Storm disperse their cyclones, choosing not to fight the strongest god in a battle of territory, and instead launch physical attacks.

Tsuna and his new friends don't stand a chance.

"That's cheating," Colonnello accuses.

Kyouya doesn't give a fuck.

Reborn is once again blackmailed with the life of his Blessed and he grumbles as Fon lifts him up and they fly off.

Mammon yells up, "Use your gun next time!"

"What fucking gun!?" Reborn cries back.
