Helloooooo! I'm sad to say that this is the final chapter of this fanfiction ;(. But, good news, there WILL be an epilogue! I might take a break for a little while before I write it, but it's gonna be pretty long. It'll be in the FuTuRe, so yeah, that'll be super fun!
I also want to thank everyone for the support I've been getting. If you're reading this on , feel free to check me and this story out on under the same story name and username (Jinglebells852), and vice versa. I might also put this onto a03 if I make an account, so yeah.
Whelp, anyway, apologies for taking soooo long with this chapter, but yay! Hope you enjoy!
Nico: *yanks me back on* do the thing
Who do you think I am, Zhu Li?! (Haha I'm funny with my Legend of Korra (WHICH I DON'T OWN) references)
Nico: *rolls eyes* Just do it.
Why are you pretending to be a greek goddess? (Haha, Nike (WHICH I DON'T OWN)? Get it? Ok I'll stop.)
I'm not Rick Riordan or Brandon Mull so I don't own anything they wrote. I also don't own any fast food or pickup truck companies.
Bai!

It was time to leave. I was super disappointed, to say the least. When I had found out there were literal demigods who had a summer camp, I totally wanted to attend. But noooo. Apparently a shadow charmer isn't close enough.
I was glad that our team had won. I had bragged to Percy about the fact, and he had laughed along with me as Annabeth called him a seaweed brain, then kissed him on the cheek. I didn't try talking to Nico, though. He seemed pretty anti-social and it had been super embarrassing when he had easily disarmed me during the game.
Kendra, on the other hand, seemed relieved. I figured she was ready to go back to being a nerd with her books and all that book-y stuff. Maybe she was nervous being around a bunch of heavily armed kids, but who knows, that kind of thing seems boring when you've been to a place where there are dragons who can paralyze you just by being there.
"I'm gonna miss you guys and all your murderous tendencies!" Percy called cheerfully as we gathered at the camp border.
"In case you guys are ever in a sticky situation, here's my address. My mom makes some killer blue cookes." Kendra took the piece of paper that Percy passed her. I decided not to question the blue cookies comment.
"Same goes for you all. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for not killing us," Warren said. Annabeth rolled her eyes as her boyfriend nodded solemnly.
"We have some milk for your mom's cookies, too. I mean, it's not quite regular milk, but-"
"It's a long story," Kendra said, cutting me off and nudging me in the side.
Suddenly, a large black figure descended from the sky.
"Blackjack!" Percy called, jogging to go meet his pegasus. I realized that the pegasus wasn't alone. On him was riding…
Newel and Doren?!
Newel dismounted with Doren and came next to me, arms folded.
"So you just forgot about us?!" the satyr exclaimed. I sheepishly rubbed the back of my neck.
"Oops?"
"It's alright. Blackjack found us and followed you guys back here. We did stop in this random park overnight, though," Doren explained.
"Well I'm glad you all got back to us safely. We were just about to head back to Fablehaven," Kendra said, prompting a chorus of moans from the two satyrs.
"We just got here! That's so unfair!"
"We can get more fast food on the way back?" Warren offered.
"Deal. Starbucks it is."
"No, I want to go to Burger King!"
"Starbucks."
"Burger King!"
I walked off, letting them continue their argument. I took one last breath of the fresh air of Camp Half Blood. It had an oddly nostalgic smell. Pine trees, freshly cut grass, strawberries, and smoke all mixed together to form an oddly pleasant aroma.
Kendra walked up behind me, laying a hand on my shoulder. "Well, this has been quite an adventure."
I nodded. "I wonder if we'll ever see them again."
My sister cocked her head to the side. "I think we will. Someday, somehow. I don't believe this is the last we'll see of demigods."
"So, who's driving us home?" I asked, thinking of this issue for the first time. Everyone from Fablehaven had come with us. So who could take us home?
A vehicle honked from the nearest road. I wasn't sure how I was able to hear it from so far away, but all the talk of driving must have prepared me.
"Speaking of," Kendra said, leading me down the hill along with the rest of our party. We waved our last goodbyes to the campers as we trudged downhill. As we got closer, I immediately recognized the large pickup truck as the new one that we had bought for emergencies at Fablehaven.
"Mom! Dad!" I cried as I climbed into the back seat.
"Hey everyone! We got back from our vacation just in time. You guys need to tell us all about your adventure!" Dad said.
"First things first," said Bracken, "How do we fit everyone into the truck?"
