(I am so, so, sorry for the wait, writers block and stuff in my life preventing me from writing. Next Chapter should be here sooner. Also, I apologize if this chapter isn't too great. That's what happens when I try to write through a writer's block.)

"What do I do, Pascal?" Rapunzel asked as she sat on her bed.

The minute she returned to her room, She immediately told Pascal everything that happened. She felt bad for waking Pascal up to rant to him about this, but she needed to talk to someone, to help her figure out what to do.

Pascal, understandably still tired, could only yawn and rub his eyes.

Rapunzel sighed. "Pascal, please, I need your help!" She pleaded. "I mean, I want to help Prince Eugene and Princess Cassandra. But I don't want to have to go behind my parents' backs to do so."

Once the chameleon was more awake, he squeaked at her.

The Princess nodded. "That is true. I do think the way my Dad has been acting is weird. I mean, why would he get so weird over a flower? What can it even do?"

Pascal just shrugged at her. Rapunzel thought for a moment. "Eugene thinks it could help stop those black rocks."

Pascal made some more noises, but Rapunzel shook her head. "I shouldn't ask him about the Sundrop. He's probably asleep by now, he, his sister, and his friends have had a long day."

The chameleon gave her a look. Rapunzel pouted at him. "I know I woke you up, and I'm sorry, but this is a bit different, Pascal. Besides, I think all I need to know is that this flower could stop those rocks back in the Dark Kingdom. And I don't even know where to look for this flower, so knowing what it can do won't matter if I can't even find it."

Then she remembered something. "The Snuggly Duckling! Maybe someone there might know more about this flower. They could tell me what it can do and where I could find it. That way, I'll be able to get more information on the Sundrop Flower and not wake Eugene or anyone else up."

Rapunzel immediately went to her door. "You wanna come along, Pascal?"

That time, Pascal didn't respond. Looking back at him, he was already fast asleep, curled up at his usual spot on her bed. Rapunzel gave him a quick kiss and grabbed her bag before sneaking out of her room.

Meanwhile, back in Eugene's and Cassandra's guest room, the pair were laying in their beds. Princess Cassandra, however, couldn't fall asleep. So she quietly got out of her bed and put her boots on. Maybe she could walk around the castle for a bit, clear her mind a bit.

"Can't sleep either?" Eugene asked Cass as he sat up in his bed and looked at her.

"You know I can't" Cass answered quietly. "How can we sleep knowing the Dark Kingdom is getting destroyed while we're here instead, running away?"

Eugene got of his bed. "You know that's not what we're doing." He stated sternly.

Cass groaned. "Well, it's what it feels like. We're here, far away from our home when we should be back there. Helping the wounded and-"

"And do what else?" Eugene asks. "You know as well as I do that we can do no more than what the Brotherhood or Dad can do there if we stayed. Its not like we can predict where the rocks are going to pop up."

"We would at least help with the wounded so they wouldn't have to do it all on their own." The Dark Princess quietly added. Then she groaned. "But I'm here, joining you on your wild goose chase."

"I didn't ask you to come." Eugene quickly added. "You could've just stayed back home."

Cassandra rolled her eyes. "And let you get yourself into trouble? No way. The last thing the Dark Kingdom needs to here is their precious crowned prince in another kingdom's dungeon."

Then Eugene smiled. Cass didn't like that smile. It usually meant her brother was going to say or do something to annoy her. She was about to speak again when he put a hand on her shoulder.

"I really am happy to have you here, Sis." Eugene admitted quietly. Cass wasn't sure how to respond to that. It always felt rather weird for her to hear Eugene say something nice like that, instead of their usual snarky comments and insults at each other.

But it also nice, to be appreciated and someone recognizing her abilities and accomplishments. She gave Eugene a small smile. "Thank you."

The Eugene put his boots on. "Maybe a quick snack would help. I remember the way to the kitchens. Think they'll mind if we get a late night snack?"

"Probably." Cassandra said with a grin. "But I guess it doesn't hurt to find out."

The brother-sister pair smiled at each other as Cass opened the door. But when the door was cracked enough, she noticed someone familiar quietly walking through the halls.

"Princess Rapunzel?" Cassandra whispered as she watched the blonde Princess tiptoe away with a bag on her and no shoes.

"What about Rapunzel?" Her brother asked. Cassandra quickly covered his mouth and looked to see if Rapunzel saw them. When she was certain she didn't, Cass removed her hand.

"I just say her sneaking through the halls." Cass stated quietly.

Eugene looked through the door and saw Rapunzel. Then he turned back to his sister. "She's probably just doesn't want to wake the servants up." Eugene said quietly. "I mean, look! She's not even wearing shoes."

Cass had to admit that did seem logical. But why would she have a bag with her?

"That doesn't explain why she would have a bag with her." Cass countered. "And the way she's sneaking around. That's when your trying to sneak out of the castle without anyone noticing you so they could stop you."

Eugene stared at her. "How do you know that?"

Cass rolled her eyes. "You do it all the time." Once the Princess was out of sight, Cassandra led Eugene out of their room. "We should follow her."

"I thought this would be the kind of thing you wouldn't want me, Lance or Varian to do here." Eugene teased.

"This is different." The Dark Princess justified. "You would've done it just for the sake of breaking rules, I want to do this to make sure the Princess doesn't get into trouble."

Eugene rolled his eyes. "Sure.."

Cassandra groaned. "Just shut up and let's go!"

Sneaking out of the Castle wasn't a hard thing for Rapunzel to do. Especially since she's done it so many times now. So it wasn't to hard for her to find a route that would allow her to get out without the guards or anyone else in the castle noticing her.

She knew it would be quicker to get to the Snuggly Duckling if she took a horse, but she didn't want to risk anyone in the castle knowing she had snuck out.

She loved her parents very much, and she didn't really keeping secrets from them or sneaking around behind their backs. But she knew that if her parents, especially her father, found out about her going to the Snuggly Duckling, they would get protective. Her mother may understand, but Rapunzel knew her father never would.

There weren't too many guards around town tonight, her trip was relatively peaceful. Aside from a strange feeling that she was being watched, but she was able to shrug it off to just still being a bit uneasy from her time in the Dark Kingdom.

Eventually, she was able to get to the Snuggly Duckling. She was happy when she saw that the lights were still on, so that meant her friends there would still be there.

She eagerly opened the door to the Snuggly Duckling. "Evening, Guys."

The Thugs all stopped what they were doing and stared at her for a moment. She Rapunzel simply simply smiled.

Then the thugs smiled at her. "PRINCESS!"

As the Snuggly Duckling patrons welcomed her, she greeted them and took a seat at the bar.

"Evening, Princess." One of the thugs said as he cleaned a cup. "What brings you here so late? Care for a cupcake?"

Rapunzel smiled. "Thanks, Attila. That would be wonderful." As she waited for her cupcake, Rapunzel added. "Actually, I was wondering if I could ask you guys something."

"The Snuggly Duckling?" Eugene said as he read a sign.

He and his sister, Cassandra had quietly followed Princess Rapunzel as she snuck out of her castle. Eugene felt a bit weird about following Rapunzel, not wanting to spy on her. But he was curious why she was sneaking out, and why she wasn't wearing shoes.

It was surprisingly challenging to keep up with Rapunzel. She was surprisingly quick, the route she took was a bit difficult to follow, especially since neither he nor Cassandra had been on this path before, and there have been moments where the blonde Princess almost caught them. Eugene was actually impressed.

"Rapunzel did mention it back in our room." His sister mentioned. "She said that the patrons here were pretty nice."

Eugene nodded. Looking at it, it did look like a rather calm and cozy place for a pub. He could imagine Rapunzel being here. Probably spending time her with friends, enjoying sweet treats and talking to them for hours about whatever

"Think she would want to see us?" Eugene asked. "I know we didn't want her to follow her, but she was only coming here. And she did saw she would like to show it to us."

Cassandra looked at the pub. The dark Prince noticed a hint of hesitation, but she nodded. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to be here for a bit. As long as we return before Varian, Lance, and the King and Queen wake up."

"Deal!" Eugene said as they walked to the pub entrance. "Your finest table!"

But the moment the doors opened, what the brother-sister pair saw was not what they were expecting. There were thugs playing darts using axes, two men, one with a hook for a hand and the other a hook for a foot, and a very big, intimidating looking thug. And that was only a few of them. There were more, a lot more, and they all looked just as intimidating.

"Who the heck are you two?" The one with the hook hand asked as he polished his hook.

Cassandra quickly drew her sword. Eugene was about to grab his, since it looked like they were going to have to fight.

"Eugene? Cassandra?" Rapunzel's voice said through the room.

Soon all the thugs turned to Rapunzel, who looked so tiny compared to all the thugs.

"You know these guys, Princess?" The man with the hook foot asked her.

"Uh, yeah!" The Princess of Corona said as she joined Eugene's and Cassandra's. "This is Prince Eugene and this is Princess Cassandra. I met them back in the Dark Kingdom."

"You know these people?" Cassandra asked Rapunzel.

Rapunzel gave a sheepish smile at the Dark Kingdom siblings. "Yeah, I mentioned that I knew the patrons of the Snuggly Duckling. These are them."

So, not only did this girl sneak out her castle in the middle of the night with no shoes, managing to not get caught by the guards, and was apparently friends with dangerous-looking thugs who regularly met at a pub outside town.

Eugene honestly didn't know whether to be impressed or concerned.
