Leni was getting more recognition thanks to her saving all the poor kids at the daycare center from being shot by those nasty mobsters or gangsters. Those guys really meant business and they had a pretty bad record of the crimes or horrible things they have committed since that little mafia was found around eighty years ago.
It was just on TV when the news had gotten out, and Leni herself was watching it on tbe local news when it showed the mugshots of the mafia members thay are now thrown in prison for their crimes, and the reporter man said: "yes folks, you have it all here. Our newest superhero; Poison Ivy Leni, has thwarted another heinous crime in the city of Royal Woods."
The second eldest sister in this family household smiled proudly at herself just hearing this accomplishment as she watched on the small screen.
"With these mobsters behind bars, it has shown us a miracle had come down upon us from heaven." the reporter continued. "She is a warning to all who would dare have the gall to commit even the most petty of crimes. Whenever someone calls out, Ivy will answer it."
"Totes agree with you, Rick." Leni said to the TV. "I'll save everyone that I ever love and known in my life." little did she know that it wouldn't be that simple in trying to save a person. But still, she knew the least she can do is save as many lives as she can with her new powers, and have a little fun with them.
She realized she can do things that she is not able to do before because of her new powers, and Leni smiled at whag she can possibly do. The doorbell rang and she promptly answered it. What appeared in front of her was the postman with an envelope in his right hand. "Excuse me, littly lady," said the mailman, "I'm looking for miss... Leni Loud on here."
"Ooh! That's me. I'm Leni Loud." Said the blonde girl in excitement.
"Perfect! It's your lucky day, my friend." the postman then gave Leni the paper and added: "have a nice day," before moving on to the next house. Closing the door, she opened the envelope and she read out loud:
Dearest Leni Loud;
As the mayor of Royal Woods, I heard of your accomplishments as the new superhero of the whole city. Saving the mall from a madman with a gun, to saving a daycare from a dastardly Mafia, girl you give the people hope in their hearts. For that, Leni, I give you a gift. A cheque made up of five-thousand dollars go deposit in the bank. I, and all the good people of Royal Woods, thank you for your recent accomplishments, and we all hope you will keep up the good work in the future. Good luck with the money and spend it wisely. Keep it safe and do not have a thief or a burglar steal it.
-Sincerely yours, the Mayor
Leni smiled and looked at this cheque that did say five grand on it, all hers as a special reward. "Oh, my gosh." she said.
"Leni, who was at the door?" said Rita, coming in the living room.
"It was the mailman, mom." Leni replied. "She gave me this as a reward for being a superhero." sue handed the note to Rita, and her mother read it silently to herself. After she was done reading, she smiled and gasped.
"Leni, I am so proud of you! Five-thousand dollars in this paper?"
"I think it does." Leni wasn't so sure at first. "Is it?"
Rita rolled her eyes and looked at the cheque once more. "Yes, sweetie. It does say five-thousand. We've been over this many times. Three zeros in a number with no decibel means one thousand."
"What's going on here?" asked Luan, walking in the room with Mr. Coconuts in her hands, possibly coming to watch some TV.
"Leni got a nice reward from the mayor herself with this cheque." Rita clarified. "Just look at it."
Luan did just that and the number caught her by surprise. "Whoa! Five grand?"
"Yep. Just for being a superhero!" Leni replied in excitement. "Totes cool."
"What are you going to spend it on?" Rita said
"Well, there is that adorable massage chair that I always wanted to buy, and you said it was too expensive for you and dad." Leni remembered. "It has robot hands that give you cucumbers for your eyes, personal manicure, even foot massages."
"Wait a minute, wait a minute, Leni." Rita said. "I'm not going to stop you from buying that chair, i'm just suggesting: think about it. Is the massage chair something you really want? There could be something out there even better than a fancy massage chair. Like my dad always said: the next best thing is always a minute away."
"That's a good point." Leni said. "Okay, mom."
Meanwhile
Fasha was a new supervillain and she was trying to figure out a way to cause mayhem in Royal Woods to get Leni's attention. However, she thought of a new name for herself, and she snapped her fingers while Nellie was looking bored on the couch in the ridiculously large living room. A new thought came to her and she said: "Maybe I can call myself Oblivia. A girl that has a feminine touch to the word: Oblivion and cause so much pain in the world."
Pacing to and fro again, Fasha thought of something dastardly, and evil that she was sure that Leni will come and stop her. She snapped her finger with another idea, and she had an evil grin on her face.
"Hey, I am a millionaire, right? I have a lot of money and I can do whatever the heck I want with them, right?"
Nellie made a bark while panting her tongue out her cute face.
"Yeah, you said it, Nellie. You always say the best things, you know?"
The samoyed barked once again
