Kara held her head high as she walked into L-Corp, it had been almost three weeks since she had spoken to her girlfriend and she just couldn't take it anymore, she smiled at Matt the security guard before heading towards the elevator.
Jess was busy typing when she heard the elevator ding; she frowned when she saw Kara.
"Hey Jess," the blonde greeted her as she headed towards the doors.
"Kara wait, you can't go in," Jess told her as she stood up and blocked her path.
"What? Why?" Kara asked confused.
Jess looked down, "she told me not to allow you access."
"Oh," Kara whispered as her lower lip trembled.
"I'm really sorry," Jess told her as she patted her shoulder before walking back to her desk and sitting down.
"Can you tell her I love her and I'm not giving up?" Kara asked.
Jess smiled and nodded as she watched the blonde turn and walk away.
Work it out guys, she thought as she continued her typing.
Kara looked crestfallen as she landed at the DEO, she didn't say a word to anyone as she walked straight into the training room.
Alex and J'onn shared a sympathetic look as Alex patted his shoulder before following after her sister.
Kara was just staring at the wall when Alex walked in.
"Hey," she greeted as she walked towards the superhero.
Kara just nodded as she continued to stare.
"I'm guessing it didn't go well with Lena?"
"She wouldn't even see me," Kara whispered her voice hoarse from all the crying.
"Oh Kar," Alex said as her heart broke for her little sister, who had begun to cry again.
"Is she okay?" Winn asked as Alex excited the training room.
"I hope so," Alex told him as she walked off.
Jess looked up as she heard the elevator ding.
"Is she in?" Alex asked as she pointed towards the door.
"I'm not supposed to let anyone in, but if you're here to talk some sense into her about Kara go," Jess told her.
Alex smiled at the woman before walking in.
Lena looked up as her door opened, her eyes narrowed as she saw Alex, "I have nothing to say and I'm very busy," she snapped.
"You're going to listen to me Luthor!" Alex snapped as she sat down.
Lena rolled her eyes as she closed her file and steeples her fingers together.
"You need to fix this," Alex told her.
Lena was about to speak but Alex cut her off.
"Do you have any idea what Lucy has put her through?"
"She never had time for her," Lena replied as he pushed her files aside a wave of guilt washing over her.
"I shouldn't tell you this," Alex mumbled as she looked towards the floor.
"Tell me what?" the CEO asked.
"Lucy also cheated on her," Alex confessed.
"What the hell?" Lena snapped getting pissed as she stood up.
"It was the final straw; Kara came home and found them."
"Another woman?"
"James."
Lena's mouth dropped open.
"I shouldn't have said anything, but I need you to know, Kara loves you and she would never betray you. But Lucy can't be trusted."
Lena nods, "I will talk to her."
Alex smiled as she headed towards the door, "you two are meant for each other."
Lena couldn't help but smile as she gathered her things and headed for the doors.
"I already canceled your meetings, "Jess told her as she gave her a thumbs up.
Lena just shook her head as she nodded towards security.
Kara was barely paying attention to the TV show she had on as she looked towards the door just praying Lena would walk through it. She tried not to cry as she shut off the TV and walked to her bedroom.
Lena frowned as she stood outside of the all too familiar apartment building, it was dark in Kara's apartment and she feared she was out, or worse that she didn't want to see her. She pushed her fear aside as she walked inside closing out the cold as pushed the button for the elevator. Her heart beat faster and faster the closer she got to Kara's apartment, she took a few calming breaths before lightly rapping the door.
Kara was just getting out the shower when she heard a sound she never thought she would hear again, Lena's heartbeat. She quickly got dressed when she heard the timid knock; she raced to the door and opened it.
Lena looked startled as the door flew open and an out of breath alien stood before her.
"Hi," Kara mumbled as she fiddled with her fingers.
"Hey I know it's late but I had to see you," Lena told her as she played with her purse.
Both women were nervous as they waited for the other to speak.
"Do you want to come in?" Kara finally asked as she held the door open.
Lena smiled as she walked inside, making sure to linger by the door incase Kara didn't accept her apology or break up with her.
"Do you want something to drink?" she asks from the kitchen.
"No thanks," Lena replies as she continues fiddling with her purse.
Kara goes to sit down, watching as Lena continues to just stand there by the door almost as if she's about to bolt. "Lena?"
Lena jumps at the sound of her name as she looks towards the blonde watching her with curious blue eyes. "This is crazy I shouldn't be this nervous," Lena mumbles.
"Are you breaking up with me?" Kara whispers as her voice quivers and tears well up threating to spill.
"What? No, of course not," Lena assures her as she runs over and began to wipe them away.
"I'm sorry," Kara cries."
"No I'm sorry," Lena tells her as she kisses her forehead. "I was selfish and childish and I should have talked to you. I trust you more than anymore in the world Kara."
"I swear nothing with ever happen with Lucy, its long over," Kara cries as her tears fall.
"Baby I know that and I'm sorry I let my insecurities win," Lena tells her as she wipes them away.
"I love you Lena."
"I love you too babe, more than anything."
Kara smiles as she stands up and stretches, she holds her hand out for Lena to take.
Lena smiles as she takes it, allowing her to lead her towards the bedroom.
A/N: Sorry it took so long. Let me know what you think. Lena apologized and they made up, but will Lucy really just go away?
