A/N : Thanks for clicking to the next chapter - which is by all accounts, a Christmas chapter (and what happens when you're watching Hallmark movies with some of your fave actors in them!)
Anyway, this chapter spans that of from the beginning of Mikki and Sebastian living together, up until they are married with kids; and is really just Christmas through out the years, when they are together and also for the short time apart.

All characters belong to Glee, and their rightful owners. However any you don't recognise belong to me and cannot be used without my permission.

Thanks for reading,

Chapter 11 -

Moving in together in the final month of summer, before the start of their senior year; Mikki and Sebastian quickly soon got very use to living together and having also someone to come home to at night and also not be restricted as to what they were able to do within that of the dorm rooms and the rules that also came with them.
Both feeling guilty though of leaving their former roommates behind, Artie who moved in with Kurt for that of senior year and Ellie in with Linda; they also too made sure to have evenings where they would invite around their now mutual friends for either a movie night or games night; just so the living away from everyone and the college experience as such, also didn't lose too much of the college life in that of their last year together.

Having headed to their parents places, for Thanksgiving, and spending the morning of the day of giving thanks at Mikki's before heading to Sebastian's for the evening; and Mikki organizing to go shopping with his mom, as well as Karen and Brooke who were also at his place for the day, and also her own mom and sisters, the following day.

The next weekend, Mikki and Sebastian headed to the shops in Columbia to get Christmas decorations for their apartment and then on the Sunday set about putting all they had gotten, with some financial help from both sets of their parents who didn't want them to not have anything in their place together, assembled.

"I think Christmas trees are worse than the flat packs we put together" said Sebastian, with a laugh as he swapped around two of the parts of the Christmas tree that he had assembled and not being right with the branches that tapered upwards being on the lower part and the more fuller one being up the top.

"Hmm, and just think once that is all done" said Mikki, with a small laugh. "We still have to put the lights on it and then decorate it"

"Why do I let you talk me into these wacky plans of yours" he replied with a laugh and looking to his girlfriend with a smile. "I would have just as much been happy with a small little tree that sits on the table"

"And I say that's not very festive at all" replied Mikki, with a smile to him also and slipping her arms around his waist. "And I have no rooms for Grinches in my life"

"Not a Grinch at all" said Sebastian, shaking his head and quickly kissing her. "Just a little overkill maybe, when we're not actually going to be here on Christmas day and instead be at our parents"

"Doesn't mean, we never will be one Christmas" replied Mikki, with a smile to him. "And this here is just the start of the Christmas things that I will eventually be buying"

"Hmm forget Christmas Grinch" said Sebastian, with a laugh. "I think my girlfriend is a Christmas Elf"

"I did have an elf costume when I was little" replied Mikki, with a laugh also. "But I don't think that will fit me anymore"

"Oh, I can organize an elf costume" said Sebastian, with a smile to her. "Preferably a more sexy one than what your one was when you were younger"

"Oh really now" replied Mikki, looking to him with a smile. "We have a thing for elves to we?"

"Nope, just you" said Sebastian, with a small laugh and quickly kissing her as Mikki gave a laugh and kissed him back. "Come on, let's finish this tree and get that decorated and we can then also see what other things we got as well to put around the apartment too"

"Sure, yeah" replied Mikki, with a nod and the two of them continued decorating their apartment for their first Christmas together.

With Christmas Day falling on a Saturday, and classes ending on the Wednesday. Mikki who had an early class the morning before, then being finished for the semester and therefore only having one final semester left before she graduated; was waiting at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport, for the flight Jeremy was catching from Alabama, since Sebastian had a later class and wasn't able to come and pick up his brother for spending Christmas with his family.

Standing waiting, having arrived at the airport only a few minutes earlier; Mikki saw passengers exiting the flight that had just landed from Alabama and scoured those who she could see, to see if she could spot her boyfriend's older brother, when he felt someone tap her on the shoulder from behind and turned to look and saw Jeremy behind her.

"Hey, I was looking for you that way" said Mikki, with a laugh to him as Jeremy looked to her with a laugh also.

"Yeah, I was at the back, so I came out the gate over that way" said Jeremy, pointing just to the other side where Mikki had not being looking for exiting passengers. "And lucky I happen to see a small ass mouse looking for me, because I was beginning to think I'd be having to catch a cab to your and Seb's apartment"

"Firstly, I told you I would be here" said Mikki, with a laugh. "And second, I am not a small ass mouse"

"Oh you're short Mikki" replied Jeremy, with a laugh. "Just face it, you're vertically challenged"

"Well I say the best things come in small packages" said Mikki, with a laugh and Jeremy shook his head.

"I'm not even going there" he replied, with a smile to her. "Let's just go and get my bags and get out of here, huh"

"Sure, yeah okay" said Mikki, with a nod. "Need me to carry that one for you, whilst you get your other bag"

"It's kind of heavy" said Jeremy, with a smile about the bag that was still on his shoulder. "I pushed it with the limit of carry on with this"

"Why?" asked Mikki, looking to him as they started walking to the baggage carosuel. "What's in it"

"Seb's gift" he replied, with a small laugh. "And I guess yours as well too"

"Hmm, something heavy" said Mikki, with a smile to him as Jeremy gave a nod.

"Yeah, hold it whilst I grab my bag" he said, taking it from his shoulder as the neared the baggage carousel. "I see my bag coming around"

"Okay, yeah" replied Mikki, taking the bag from him and groaning at the weight. "What are you giving me and Seb, bricks?"

"Nope, you will just have to wait and see" he replied, with a smile and laugh as he grabbed his luggage from the carousel, and walked back to her. "You take this" he laughed, as he grabbed the carry on bag that Mikki had placed on the ground due to the weight of it. "Since it's easy for small little mouse to manage because it's on wheels"

"Okay, enough with the mouse jokes" said Mikki, with a small laugh also and poking him. "Otherwise I will have no choice but to start calling you Jan again"

"Oh and like you're not ever going to do that again" he replied with a smile to her also and the two of them left the airport to head back to Mikki and Sebastian's apartment, where Jeremy would be spending the evening before they headed to Spartanburg the next day.

#WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF#

Driving back to her and Sebastian's apartment; Mikki parked in her assigned spot for the complex and along with Jeremy headed upstairs to where her place was, using though the lift so they didn't have to struggle with carrying Jeremy's bag up three flights of stairs.

Grabbing her keys out of her handbag, and unlocking the door to the apartment which they had placed that of a Christmas wreath on, she opened the door and walked into and saw Sebastian sitting at the small table that they had, writing.

"I thought you said no study after class today" said Mikki, with a small laugh as she placed her keys back into her handbag and put it down near the door; herself and Jeremy walking into the apartment.

"Yeah, just wanted to jot down a few notes for my thesis that's all" he replied, quickly looking to her with a smile. "Hey Jere"

"Yeah hey Bash" he replied, with a smile. "And I'd be listening to mousey girlfriend if I were you" he continued, with a laugh. "Living together may mean she will withhold things if you don't do as you are told"

"What are you on about?" asked Mikki, looking to the older Smythe with a laugh.

"Think about it" he replied, with a laugh. "And seriously" he said, looking around their apartment. "Did an elf throw up in here or something"

"What's wrong with it?" asked Sebastian, with a laugh as he put away his notebook and put the pens he had been using into a pencil case. "This took us a long time"

"Well it's just that you're going to spend Christmas back home at both your parents houses" said Jeremy with a laugh. "So I'm thinking whilst it looks festive enough, maybe just a little bit over the top"

"Just exactly what you said then" said Mikki, with a small smile to him. "It feels festive, and puts you in a good mood when you come home"

"Oh so, living with my little brother is tough, huh" said Jeremy, with a nod. "See that one I could have told you before you decided on living together"

"Just shut it, huh" said Sebastian, with a small laugh and smile to his brother. "And go stick your stuff in the spare bedroom" he continued, as Jeremy gave a laugh and wheeled that of his luggage bag into their spare room and leaving his carry on one in the living area as Sebastian looked to Mikki. "Why did we agree to let Jeremy stay the night"

"Hmm, I'm not really sure" replied Mikki, with a laugh as she walked over to the kitchen area and where the Instant Pot was on and looked at the remaining time on it.

"I put the one you said to from the freezer this morning when I got home" said Sebastian, as he placed the books that he had been looking at when she got home back into his bag. "So it shouldn't have much time left"

"No, it says six minutes" replied Mikki, with a nod as she put some water into the rice cooker that she had also set out that morning and gotten ready and switched it on as well. "And by that time both will be done"

"Yeah" said Sebastian, with a nod as he moved his bag from the table area and went and sat in beside the front door near to Mikki's handbag and walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her. "Hi"

"Hi" replied Mikki, with a laugh and kissed him as they heard Jeremy who at that moment walked out of the spare room making gagging noises.

"Please remember you have company tonight" he said, with a laugh and looking to them both with a smile. "And I don't need to be seeing this all night"

"Our place" said Sebastian, with a smile to his older brother. "Our rules"

"Yeah okay" said Jeremy, with a smile to him. "Just know I don't want to be hearing anything tonight, when I'm trying to sleep now"

"I'm sure you have earphones for you phone" said Mikki, as Jeremy looked to her with a nod. "Okay well use them, put some music or an audiobook on so you don't then have to hear"

"Yeah I just might" he replied, with a laugh. "So it is okay if I stick the stuff I got for everyone under your tree"

"Sure of course you can" replied Sebastian, with a nod. "Mik and I were going to load up my car tomorrow morning with all the presents for everyone"

"Cool, yeah" said Jeremy, with a nod as he unzipped his carry on bag and knelt down next to the tree and started removing the presents he had gotten for his family; one of which was a rather large box.

"So, I'm guessing that's the heavy thing then" said Mikki, with a laugh as Jeremy looked to her with a nod.

"Yep, it's Seb and well also yours as well, present" said Jeremy, with a smile to them.

"What in the world did you get us" said Sebastian, with a laugh as Jeremy gave a small laugh.

"You can open it later tonight, since then we don't have to take it with us" he said, looking to the two of them. "And then also don't have to bring it back here either" he continued, and getting a smaller box from out of the carry on bag that he had bought. "Can I ask you guys something, serious?"

"I don't know" replied Sebastian, with a laugh and looking to his older brother. "That depends, if you can even be serious"

"Yeah really funny, Bash" he replied, with a laugh. "I just don't know if this is a good idea" he continued, with a sigh. "And then if isn't, I will have to go and get something else significant for Karen for Christmas"

"Want some advice?" asked Mikki, and Jeremy looked to her with a nod.

"And probably you're better suited to ask then my kid brother" said Jeremy, with a small smile as Sebastian commented "Hey"

"Sure, what is the gift?" asked Mikki, as Jeremy stood up from the ground with the box in hand and opened it to show the two of them.

"A key" he replied, looking at them with a smile.

"And a keychain too" said Sebastian, looking at the gift along with Mikki. "That is personalized and says 'Karen'"

"Yeah" replied Jeremy, with a nod. "It's a key to my place in Alabama and I was kind of hoping that it says to Karen that I'd like her to move in with me"

"Wow" said Sebastian, looking to his older brother and his eyes widening. "That's a pretty big step"

"Umm, hello" said Jeremy, with a laugh. "You two aren't even done with senior year of college and have moved in together" he continued, with a smile to them. "I think my asking Karen to move when we have both finished study and are working, is a little different wouldn't you say"

"I think it's a really sweet gift" said Mikki, with a nod and smile to him. "And I am sure Karen will say yes to it"

"You think so?" asked Jeremy, looking to her. "I'm not asking too much you think?" he asked. "Because I am asking her to move away from her parents, and also to a place where she doesn't have a job either"

"True" replied Sebastian, with a nod. "And she'd have to live with you" he continued, with a smile to his older brother. "She won't know what kind of hell, she's in for"

"I'll take back your presents Seb" said Jeremy, looking to him. "Santa won't be happy with you either"

"Hmm, yeah funny" replied Sebastian, with a laugh. "Seriously though" he continued, with a smile to him. "I agree with Mikki, and think it's a great gift. Especially since she has said to us that she hates that you're so far away"

"Really, she said that" said Jeremy, looking to his younger brother with a smile as Sebastian gave a nod.

"Yeah, when we had just moved into here" he replied as Mikki gave a nod as Jeremy looked to her. "She came over one day, and she did say she hated you being so far away and that she would possibly consider sometime in the not so distant future about moving" said Mikki, with a smile to her boyfriend's older brother.

"And that not so distant future could possibly be now" said Sebastian, with a smile to his brother also. "Honestly, I'd say go for it"

"Yeah, I will" replied Jeremy, with a nod. "Just I never thought in a million years that I'd be asking a girl to move in with me as a Christmas present"
"I think Mom and Dad were expecting you to never end up with someone" said Sebastian, with a laugh. "Because you know it's you and who'd ever want to live with you"

"Okay, well no presents for little brother then" he replied, looking to him with a laugh also. "Mikki, you may have what I have placed under your tree for yourself and never to be for that of my unwanted little brother"

"Cool, yeah okay" replied Mikki, with a smile and laugh as well; as the alarm for that of the Instant Pot sounded indicating that dinner was ready. "Dinners done" she continued, as Jeremy and Sebastian both gave a nod. "And you can tell us more of what this idea of getting to Karen to move over to Alabama with you, over it"

"Sure yeah" replied Jeremy, with a smile; and the three of them sat to eat dinner before Jeremy then let the two of them open up his gift to them for Christmas, and that being the return of the X Box 360 console that he didn't use anymore as well as the games; and helped connect it up to the new television that Sebastian and Mikki had purchased when moved in, then played some video games with them before they headed to bed and then the next morning headed to their parents house's.

Spending alone what was the first lead up to Christmas in her whole life, and also her first in seven years not with Sebastian.

Mikki decided to forego putting up any Christmas decorations that year in her apartment. Firstly, because she didn't have any to put up and couldn't be bothered going and actually getting any, and secondly because she wasn't actually going to be home for Christmas and therefore didn't see the need to actually decorate when she would then only have to take them back down as soon as she got home.

Heading around to Puck's house, on the Friday evening and a week before that of Christmas, with the two of them finishing for a short break their morning show and her also flying out the next day with Marley to spend a couple of days with Kitty in Las Vegas before flying out from there to Atlanta where they would meet up with Roderick to then fly home to South Carolina; Mikki agreed to have a meal with that of her co hosts family before the merriment of Christmas festivities took full hold of them all.

Knocking on the front door, and waiting, armed too with some small gifts for them all; the door opened and Blaine who was on the other side looked to her with a smile.

"Hi" she said, with a small smile to that of her co host's brother in law, and one who really had not done much to make the best first impressions on her but was slowly though growing on her as that of a friend.

"Yeah hi" replied Blaine, a smile lighting up on his face. "Come on in"

"Thanks" said Mikki, with a nod and walked into the house as Blaine closed the door and looked at her. "What?" she asked with a laugh seeing the now somewhat sly smile that the male beside her had on his face. "Do I have something on my face or something?"

"No" replied Blaine, with a laugh and shaking his head. "At least not yet" he continued, with a smile to her and pointed up above them. "It's bad luck if you refuse"

"Yeah, well what's a little bad luck" said Mikki, with a smile to him and brushed past him to head into the living area of the house and away from the mistletoe.

"Oh come on" groaned Blaine. "It's Christmas"

"Yes, it is" replied Mikki, looking to him. "But I don't believe in stupid traditions such as that" she continued. "So whilst it was a very good attempt, it does look like you're remaining kiss less"

"Man" sighed Blaine, as he walked over to the sofa and sat down. "You're a hard woman to work out, you know that"

"Translation" said Mikki, looking to him with a laugh. "I'm not an easy one, like the other girls who probably in the past would have willingly fallen for that"

"Exactly" said Blaine, with a nod. "I've never had a girl refuse me before. So therefore you are the first"

"Well that's an honor that I will greatly accept" said Mikki, with a smile as Puck came in from the kitchen wiping his hands on a dish cloth.

"Hey sorry, I heard you talking in here" he said, as Mikki looked to him. "I was just checking on stuff in the oven" he continued, as Mikki gave a nod. "My brother in law, isn't being a jerk again is he?"

"Define jerk?" asked Mikki, with a laugh as Puck also gave a laugh as well and looked to his brother in law.

"It backfired didn't it" he said, as Blaine looked to him with a nod. "Yep, told you"

"Wait you knew he put that there?" asked Mikki, looking to her co star.

"No, I put it there" he replied, with a smile to her as Mikki's eye widened. "But not for the reason so that Blaine could use it to his advantage" he continued, and looking to his brother in law. "That's where Quinn would always place it, and I guess it's just something I like to keep continuing to do"

"Yeah, I get that" replied Mikki, with a small smile and nod to him. "Makes her feel as if she is still apart of it, even if she can't be here"

"Yes, exactly" said Puck, with a nod. "Anyway dinner shouldn't be too far along" he continued as Mikki looked to him with a nod. "I've just put the last of the vegetables on"

"Honestly, it's fine" replied Mikki, with a smile to him. "I'm not in any rush" she continued, as Puck looked to her with a smile. "It was just nice of you to invite me around"

"Oh, of course" said Puck, with a smile to her also. "I feel as if we are good enough friends now to warrant this" he continued, as Mikki gave a nod. "And besides it's Christmas"

"Yes, and speaking of Christmas" said Mikki, with a laugh. "This is just for you and the girls, as well as Sam and Blaine to open on Christmas day"

"You didn't have to get us all gifts" replied Puck, as Mikki held out the gift bag which she had the things in for them to him.

"It's no drama" said Mikki, with a smile. "I like Christmas, and seeing people happy"

"Yeah, I've come to see that part of you" said Puck, with a laugh. "The making people happy thing"

"Hmm, yeah what you get me?" asked Blaine, standing from the sofa and going over to Puck. "Can I see now?" he asked. "Or is it something that you'd not want to be here for me opening, because it's naughty"

"If you're lucky" replied Mikki, looking to him with a smile. "It won't be a lump of coal"

"It wouldn't be the first time he's gotten that as a present" said Puck, with a laugh and Mikki looked to him and then Blaine.

"You've actually gotten coal before as a gift" said Mikki, as Blaine gave a nod.

"My older brother, every year when we were growing up" he said, as Mikki looked to him. "He would stick coal in the bottom of my stocking"

"That sounds like something someone I know would do as well" said Mikki, with a laugh; and thinking that would also as well be a very Jeremy thing to have done as well when he, Dylan and Sebastian were kids. "But you can rest assure that what I have got for you isn't a lump of coal"

"Yeah" replied Blaine, with a nod and looked to his brother in law. "How long until dinner is ready?"

"I guess maybe another twenty minutes" he replied as Blaine gave a nod. "Why?"

"Umm, just got to go and get something" said Blaine, with a small smile to him. "I didn't know we were exchanging gifts" he continued, looking to Mikki. "And I kind of feel bad knowing that I have nothing in return"

"Honestly, I don't mind" said Mikki, shaking her head. "I don't gift gifts in order to receive them"

"Still" said Blaine, with a smile to her. "I am going to go out and get you something"

"Sure, just no coal huh" said Mikki, with a laugh as Blaine shook his head and headed out to grab that of a present for her; and Mikki stayed at the Puckerman residences helping to finish up with the cooking of dinner before they all settled down together for the meal.

#WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF#

Preparing to spend for the most part, that of the Christmas season on his own, with Mikki being now over the other side of the country and them having decided that it would be also be unfair on not only that of themselves since they were broken up and also too that of their family, to not spend any time over the Christmas period together; he sighed as he ended the call to the Copper Grill where he had just booked for the evening following Christmas and when he would see Mikki along with that of Ellie and Robbie who were also going to be coming along to have dinner with them.

Looking to his watch, and knowing it was still some time to when his friends would be coming around for a pizza and movie night; he turned on the television and started flicking through the channels to see if there was anything decent on to watch and landed on the Hallmark channel, and them playing one of their usual Christmas times movie leading into the holiday season and with a sigh put down the remote leaving it on; even though the thought at the moment of a holiday movie that would no doubt end in that of a happy ending was the last thing that he really wanted to be seeing.

Thinking too, that he should also call Mikki and tell her the plans for the evening that they would be seeing one another. He picked up his phone and went into his favorite contacts, where Mikki's phone number was still at the top of his list and connected a call to her, allowing it to ring and then heard her voice say "Hi" and was just about to say "Hi" back when he realized that it was her recorded message for when she was unable to answer and sighed as he waited for the beep to be able to leave a message.

"Hey Mikki, it's me. So just calling to let you know I've booked at the Copper Grill for dinner and I'll send the times to you in a message. I can't wait to see you. I miss you so much. Love you and see you soon" he said, and with a small sigh ended the call; just as he heard the door buzzer sound and stood up, walking over to the intercom and apartment door.

"Hi" he said, pressing the speaker buzzer and also door unlock for downstairs. "Doors open"

"Thanks" came Robbie's reply, as he let the speaker buzzer go and opened the door then to the apartment, so his friends were able to come inside.

Walking over to the sofa was and muting the television and placing his phone down which he still had a hold of; he looked up just as Ellie and Robbie walked into the apartment.

"Okay, are we in the correct apartment?" asked Ellie, with a small laugh; having seen in previous years, along with that of Robbie since he'd also been friends with Sebastian, just how much decorating that would be around to only this year see it that of completely bare. "Did Miks take all the Christmas decorations with her?"

"No, I still have them here" he replied, looking to his friend. "Just figured there was no point in decorating as I won't be here"

"Still, you could have maybe put up a few things" said Robbie, also looking to his friend. "Make the place feel a little more festive"

"Yeah, not feeling particularly festive this year" replied Sebastian, with a small smile to his friend. "I've booked dinner just before you guys got here" he continued looking to them both. "The Copper Grill in Spartanburg on Saturday night, if that's okay"

"That's fine" replied Ellie, with a nod and smile to him. "I'm just happy we get to see Mikki for at least a few hours"

"Yeah, and it's only two hours away" said Robbie, as Sebastian looked to him with a nod. "I don't mind driving it"

"Okay great yeah" replied Sebastian, with a smile also. "I've booked for seven. So that will give you enough time to get through traffic and all that"

"I will make a note of it in my phone now" said Ellie, as she took her cell from her handbag. "So that we won't forget"

"I don't think you'll forget" said Robbie, looking to his girlfriend with a laugh. "Dinner with your best friend who you've not seen in four months"

"No, still" replied Ellie, with a small smile as she added the time into her phone calendar. "At least then it's there"

"Yeah" said Robbie, with a smile and looked over to the television, and seeing the movie which had been on a commercial break and went back the movie and seeing 'Countdown to Christmas' appear at the bottom of the screen. "Please tell me we're not going to watch one of these movies"

"No" replied Sebastian, looking to him with a laugh. "I just literally put the television on before you got here"

"There is nothing wrong with them" said Ellie, as she placed her phone back into her bag. "Some are quite sweet, and I like some of the actors and actresses they have in them"

"Oh you mean the washed up actors, who are in about a bazillion of them already and in the same recycled storyline of boy and girl fall in love or are reacquainted after years apart" said Robbie, looking to his girlfriend with a laugh. "Thanks, but no thanks" he continued, shaking his head. "I can think of a much better Christmas movie"

"Oh god" said Ellie, rolling her eyes. "And when I don't have back up that's so not fair"

"Yep" said Robbie, with a laugh and looked to Sebastian who nodded; the two of them both saying "Die Hard", as Ellie groaned.

"Which I still say is not a Christmas movie" she replied, shaking her head.

"It is set during Christmas" said Sebastian, as Robbie gave a nod. "Therefore it's a Christmas movie"

"Hmm, I disagree" replied Ellie, with a frown. "If it doesn't have Santa" she continued. "Then it's not a Christmas movie"

"Okay to argue your point then" said Robbie, with a smile to his girlfriend. "Not all those movies" he continued pointing to the television. "Don't have Santa always"

"Well no, but they have a Christmas feel to them" said Ellie, looking to her boyfriend. "And Die Hard they just rob a bank and blow stuff up"

"Yep, the ultimate feel good Christmas movie" replied Robbie, with a nod. "Don't you think, Seb"

"I do yeah" he replied with a nod as well. "So do we want to order some pizza and then watch a movie" he asked, looking to his friends. "Or watch movie and then order pizza"

"Pizza first" said Robbie, with a smile to him. "And we can check and see what streaming service has Die Hard on"

"Yeah okay" said Sebastian, as he grabbed his phone off the sofa where he'd placed it and also the pizza delivery menu that he had on the side table. "What did you guys want?"

"You know my usual" said Ellie, looking to Robbie, with a nod and smile as he nodded in return. "I'll see if I can find this movie on Seb's streaming"

"Remote is on the table there" he said, pointing as Ellie walked over to the sofa and sat down; the three of them continuing their night together before the hectic season of the Christmas holidays began.

#WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF##WAF#

Returning from their parents house's where they had spent Thanksgiving together and then on Saturday, Mikki having gone shopping with Ellie and also Becky who was the daughter of Sebastian's boss.

On the Sunday, after having somewhat of a lie in and also partaking in other activities before getting up, Mikki was in the spare room after having had breakfast and showering; trying to get that of the Christmas decorations down that were in at the top of the built in wardrobe.

"Seb, babe" she said, giving a defeated sigh and realizing that her standing on the tips of her toes was not at all going to be helpful for reaching where they were. "Seb"

"Yeah, what?" asked Sebastian, coming into spare room a book in his hand; and one of the many that Mikki had bought back with her from California.

"I need help" she said, with a smile to her boyfriend as Sebastian looked to her with a smile also. "I'm vertically challenged and can't reach the stuff at the top of the wardrobe"

"That's the Christmas stuff up there" said Sebastian, as Mikki looked to him with a nod.

"Yeah, I know" she replied, going over to him and slipping his arms around his waist. "I was thinking we could decorate"

"Isn't it bad luck to put up before December" said Sebastian, with a laugh as Mikki looked to him shaking her head and quickly kissing him.

"It's the first day of advent today" she replied, as Sebastian looked to her. "Which therefore makes it perfectly acceptable to put the tree and decorations up"

"Should have known you would know something that would make it okay" replied Sebastian with a small laugh and quickly kissing her as well. "My cheery little Christmas elf"

"Hmm, that's me" said Mikki, with a laugh and nod. "So can you get them down please?"

"Sure, yeah" replied Sebastian, with a nod also. "But even getting the stuff in the back is way too high for me" he continued, as Mikki gave a nod as well. "I'll go and grab the chair to stand on"

"Okay" replied Mikki, quickly kissing him again and taking her arms from around his waist and allowing him to go and grab one of the chairs from their dining table to stand on; and she sat down on the bed in the spare room, grabbing her phone from the side table and looking at it.

"You know I didn't even get the decorations down last year" said Sebastian, as he came back into the room with a chair. "Didn't feel very much like Christmas with you not here"

"Yeah, I know what you mean" replied Mikki, looking to him with a nod as Sebastian stood on the chair and she placed her phone back down and stood from the bed, so that Sebastian was able to pass the boxes down to her. "I didn't have any decorations either in California"

"Well you would have had to have bought new ones, if you did anything there" said Sebastian, as he passed a box down to her, one that was labelled 'tree decorations'. "Because you didn't take anything with you"

"Hmm, yes" replied Mikki, with a sigh as she placed that box on to the bed and took the next one from Sebastian that he was passing her. "And it wasn't like I was even going to get to appreciate it much either, not being in California over Christmas either"

"Agree" said Sebastian, with a nod. "And can I say for the record that it was definitely by far my least Christmas ever"

"Mine too" replied Mikki, with a smile to him, as he grabbed the tree box and she took that from him before Sebastian then stepped off the chair.

"And I never, ever" said Sebastian, as she put the box down and he slipped his arms around her waist. "Want a Christmas like that ever again"

"Me either" said Mikki, shaking her head with a smile. "I never want to be anywhere else but next to you in bed either"

"Definitely not" replied Sebastian, kissing her with a smile as well. "Is your naughty elf costume, in one of these boxes?"

"I don't know, maybe" said Mikki, with a laugh and quickly kissing him. "Why?"

"Was just thinking you could wear whilst we decorated, that's all" said Sebastian, with a small laugh and smile to her. "Get us into the festive mood a little more"

"Hmm, I shall see if I can find it" said Mikki, with a smile as Sebastian gave a small nod. "And I might too maybe get another one this year as well"

"Yeah, I can definitely agree with that" said Sebastian, kissing her. "Maybe a naughty Mrs Claus"

"We'll see" replied Mikki, with a laugh; and the two of them started then to decorate the apartment for Christmas; after both having face the festive season last year alone.

Having married the year before, and Amelia being born in May. It was the second year of decorating that of their new home, and their first time decorating with Amelia.

Spending the Sunday after Thanksgiving putting up their decorations, which they now had come to mark as tradition. Sebastian and Mikki had gotten the tree and some of the other house decorations up, whilst Amelia had been down for a sleep; and with their seven month old daughter now wide awake were getting ready to show her for the first time the Christmas tree lighting up.

Standing with Amelia in her arms in the barely lit living room, as Sebastian knelt on the floor beside that of the power outlet. Mikki looked to him with a nod and he turned on the switch, the tree then lighting up before them and Amelia immediately pointing to that of it when it became all sparkly and bright.

"Yeah, is that pretty Millie" said Mikki, looking to her daughter with a smile as Sebastian stood up and went beside them.

"Da" she said, looking to Sebastian and still pointing to the tree.

"Hmm, hi" he said, placing a kiss to his daughter's cheek. "Do you like it?" he asked, as Amelia reached towards the tree trying to grab at the ornaments that with the lights twinkling reflected in that of them. "This one here is yours" he said, as Mikki stepped back slightly so that Amelia wouldn't grab at the tree and Sebastian taking off the one that they had gotten personalized for her. "Amelia's First Christmas 2018"

"I don't think she is really understanding it all yet" said Mikki, with a laugh. "All she sees is sparkly things and things that she would love to try and attempt to put in her mouth"

"Yeah" replied Sebastian, with a laugh as he placed the ornament back on to the tree. "But still it's pretty magical to see Christmas through that of someone so young"

"It is" said Mikki, with a nod. "And think of how many more years, we have to keep up that ruse too"

"I don't think that's too hard" said Sebastian, with a smile to her. "Especially for you"

"Ask me in maybe ten years" replied Mikki, with a laugh. "And see how I feel then"

"Okay, yeah" said Sebastian, with a laugh also; and the two of them, although really now three of them, continued to celebrate the season of Christmas together, with the day of the gifting and being with family one where like all the years before they would celebrate jointly between that of their two families.

Christmas morning 2028. Curled up in their bed together, after the evening before making sure all the presents they had gotten from them and also Santa; as well as all the other gifts from that of their extended family were placed under the Christmas tree for their children.

With Christmas too changing over the years, as that of their children got older and also as well each siblings on both sides of all their families wanting to spend Christmas morning in their own homes and with that of their other families as well; this year the Smythe side were celebrating in Columbia with Abby and Henry staying over at Mikki and Sebastian's house, and Brooke and Dylan staying with Jeremy and Karen, before they were to all get together later that day at Mikki and Sebastian's for Christmas lunch.

"Mommy, Daddy" said a small yet loud voice, and said person bouncing on their bed. "Santa's been. Santa's been"

"Yeah, he has" said Sebastian, stirring from his sleep as Mikki also next to him woke too. "Hey Jacks"

"Hi, hi, hi" said Jackson, who at just a little over five years old was their second youngest child. "Presents"

"Okay, yeah we can go and look what is downstairs" said Mikki, with a smile to her son. "Why don't you go and wake Gramps and Granma, so they can come down also and see too"

"Beebsy is already is" he replied, with a nod to them and referring to his older sister, Phoebe who was eight.

"What about Millie?" asked Sebastian, looking to his son and referring to the oldest of their children who was ten years old, and whilst not really believing in Santa anymore, kept up the ruse for her younger siblings and also cousins in the family. "Maybe go see if she is awake"

"'kay" said Jackson, jumping off the bed and running out of the room, yelling "Millie" as he did.

"I'm getting too old for this" said Mikki, with a small sigh as Sebastian looked to her with a laugh.

"What no we're not" he replied, quickly kissing her. "We still have plenty more years of this to look forward to"

"Uh huh" said Mikki, with a small laugh. "I'll go and see if Kaisha is awake" she replied, as Sebastian gave a small nod. "And if you could make us some coffee then that would be awesome"

"Yeah, I can do that" replied Sebastian, with a small smile. "Merry Christmas"

"Merry Christmas" she replied, kissing him; and the two of them got up from bed to go and celebrate with their family, the festive joy of the Christmas season.

End Note: Well, there is a huge shock there at the end - Mikki and Sebastian have a fourth child, another little girl.

This whole chapter though was just a sweet one to write, and it was also interesting going back to when they weren't together too and how they both felt during that time in the lead up to it.

Anyway, thanks for reading throughout the year all the updates that I have done and I wish you all a healthy and safe 2021.

Love always,
