New Lives / The Snap:

"Seriously?!" George bellowed in the back. "We're letting them go after everything they did?"

"George would you relax?" his mother implored.

"How can I relax? Ava tried to kill you! She tried to kill us! She kidnapped Alison! And Bill and his daughter were in on it! Not to mention has been lying to them about dad for the past thirty years!"

"George…I felt her pain. It was so unbearable. She's been through so much in her life. I just…I…I couldn't let her fad away knowing I could something to help her,"

George was touched but not convinced. "It still doesn't excuse all the horrible things they've done,"

"George…I know you're still sceptical. But you know what it was all for. It was all to help Ava. It was all to cure her,"

"But they threatened to kill Alison unless I co-operated with them,"

Janet wouldn't say anything else after that. Instead, they just continued driving off.

"I'd better get the suit," Hope said. "Hopefully Scott's distracted Woo and the men long enough for us to get off the grid. And hopefully for him to get back home,"

"So, you and Scott are thing?" Alison teased.

Hope blushed.

Ava, Bill and Emma retreated to safety in the streets.

"Hopefully they got away," Bill sighed.

"Please leave me guys," Ava implored her foster family.

"I will stay with you Ava. Dad, please get off the grid so you don't have to pay for our mistakes,"

"I will not leave any of you,"

"You said it yourself Bill. I've hurt people," Ava had never before in her life felt more guilt than she had.

"She's right dad. And so have I. I aided her in kidnapping that girl to force George. And she had nothing to do with Ava's pain. And neither did Janet,"

"I am not leaving any of you," Bill declared again. "You are both my daughters and I love you so much,"

He pulled Ava and Emma into his arms and they continued to run and find safety.

The Pym Family and Alison made it to a secluded beach where there seemed to be no men of authority on the lookout for them.

"Well, looks like we're safe here for now," Hank said.

Janet stepped out of the van and sucked in a fresh gust of air through her nostrils. "I forget how much I missed the open air and the sea,"

"I'm so glad you're back with us mum," George sniffled, releasing tears of happiness.

"So am I son. So am I,"

"So, Alison, how were you kidnapped by Ghost?" Hank asked.

"It's a bit of a long story Hank," Alison scratched the back of her head. "I manged to trick my way out of being under watch from the US government a few months ago. I sailed to San Francisco to see if I could track you all down but then that ghost girl appeared and snatched me out of nowhere. Blimey she was nuts. How exactly did you hear her Miss Van Dyne and how did she get that ability in the first place?"

"Bit of a long story Alison," Hank answered.

"Let's save stories for later dad. For now, let's just relax. It's been a long day for all of us and we should relax,"

"In the meantime, I should go and see Scott," Hope said.

"Be careful," Janet said.

"And no…" Hank started but Hope shrunk and took off before he could finish. "…kissing,"

"Not comfortable about her dating a former thief are you," Alison muttered.

"Not really,"

"Come on you two. I thought you were getting along. I mean Scott and I are getting along again," George said.

As they relaxed at the beach, George and Alison sat down together, feeling the sea mist drifting into their ears. George noticed his father holding up a huge box to his mother. He lifted out a small house model then with a press of a button. Whoosh!

It enlarged. George felt his heart lift. It was their house.

"You okay?" Alison's voice interrupted his train of thought.

"Mmm? Oh yes. I'm fine. It's just…when I came back to San Francisco…I was told the house was destroyed. I hope these past two years haven't been hard for you. You must have been clever enough to fool them into thinking you didn't help me escape?"

"They were still suspicious, so they put me under constant surveillance. Unfortunately, my sister Sharon went on the run. I haven't seen her in months,"

"I'm so sorry Alison. I'm sure your sister is fine. She's a well-trained agent right?"

"Yep,"

"So then she'll get away from any US government operative that hunts her down. What's been going with the Avengers over the years?"

"The Captain, the Falcon and now Miss Natasha Romanoff are off the grid. Along with Sokovian Wanda Maximoff. And like Scott Lang, former S.H.I.E.L.D agent Clint Barton is under house arrest,"

"You don't suppose your sister is with them, do you?"

"I highly doubt that's possible. I'm so frightened for her,"

George gently touched her hand. "If you want, we can find her together,"

"No. You guys are already busy hiding from the FBI. Don't concern yourself with me and Sharon. Soon I'll return to Washington and search for her,"

"Will you stay with us for a bit?"

Alison managed a little smile and nodded a little.

A couple of days later, the two were with the rest of George's family alongside Scott. It was decided that George was to accompany Scott into the quantum realm, having invented an invention to absorb energy.

"The collection unit activates when you guys decouple it. It should automatically start absorbing Quantum healing particles." he explained to his everyone.

"You clever boy," Janet complimented.

"I'm not a boy," he said.

"Oh, before you boys go in, make sure you two stay out of the tardigrade fields, they're cute but they'll eat you," Janet casually advised. "And don't get sucked into a time vortex."

"Got it mum," George answered.

"Got it Miss Van Dyne," Scott said.

"Okay…let's get started," Hope said.

George readied himself in his new suit. "Okay…so how does it feel to become so small?" he asked.

"It's actually fun. Once you get the hang on jumping about," Scott answered.

"I meant like really, really, really small as if into the Quantum Realm,"

"It's actually not that bad once you get the hang of it," he said.

"Just to war you, you might feel a little queasy like your head is spinning and squishing at the same time," Hank said.

"Surely Scott can handle this by himself,"

"Oh no," Scott gripped his shoulder. "You're not backing out of this. I could use all the help I need to collect all this energy,"

"I don't why we should bother helping Ghost," he cursed.

"George…" Alison uttered softly. "Think of what she's been through? What if you were like her? How would you feel if you spent all your life with no help? That's exactly what Ava has been through. And we need to help,"

"Besides…George…we'd be no better than her if we refuse to help her. We'd be far worse than S.H.I.E.L.D," Janet consoled.

George sighed and gave everyone a simple nod.

"Ready?" Scott asked.

"Ready," he nodded.

"Okay. Readying up the tunnel?" Hank announced, typing on the keyboard with his wife.

"Shrinking down in three…" Janet began.

"Two," Hope said next. "One!"

Scott and George clicked on their helmets and whoosh.

They closed their eyes as they felt their heads spinning and spurning. George felt his stomach coming right up into his throat. Then…vum!

The men found themselves floating admit an atmosphere of golden energy.

"Woah!" Scott cheered. "Never thought I'd be back here again! But it looks pretty,"

He heard groaning from near him. He turned and saw George looked pale.

"You okay,"

"I think I just threw up in my mouth," George mumbled.

"Uggh! Did you have to tell me?" Scott grimaced.

"Didn't you feel like this?" he asked.

"No. All I felt was fear, hearing my daughter scream and scream for my name,"

"Let's just get this energy and be done with it,"

"Okay, so how does it work?"

"You just have to pull the cap like this," George pulled it off and immediately the collector capsule started sucking in tons and tons of golden energy. "Wallah!"

"Oh ho ho ho ho ho ho ho!" Scott laughed, amused with such a device. "My turn!"

He activated his collector and tons of golden energy was collected. "Okay! Quantum energy is collected Hope!"

"Okay. Ready to enlarge boys?" Hank asked.

"Yep!" George called.

Back on the surface, Alison along with Hope and the parents prepared to bring the boys back.

"Okay. Count down starting now! Three! Two…!" Hope started.

"Ahhhh!" Alison screamed.

Through the com, George heard Alison screaming. "Alison? Alison!"

"Why is she screaming?" Scott asked.

"Something's going on up there!"

"Mum! Dad! Hope!" George screamed.

"Guys!" Scott called.

There was nothing but silence.

"Anyone?!"

Oh mamma mia! It seems George and Scott may be stuck in the Quantum realm. Will they out sooner or years later? We'll have to wait till Infinity War to find out. What did you all think? Please send over your opinions and let me know if any improvements can be done. Hope you all enjoyed this.
