Three o'clock. Finally, my last class of the day was over. I had a sense of glee flowing through me as I left the lecture hall and proceeded down the hallway. There was a lot of noise coming from the bustling students crowded around me as we all headed for the door, probably thankful that the lecture was only an hour and a half instead of the scheduled two hours. I mean Professor Madison is really nice and he tries his best to inject his charisma into the class, but his topic is kind of boring. This week's lecture was about the United States and the era of…. When they weren't allowed to drink alcohol. Man, my mind must have really taken off in that lecture. But ahh well, I'll catch up on it eventually. Now it was finally the weekend and I am planning on doing absolutely nothing. Man do I sound like such a cliché student, but it is true. My head is actually sore from hearing about the plans of, some guy wheeler. I really need to follow up on that lecture material online, it is not good that I am not retaining this information.

As I walked out the front door of the Nelson Mandela building there was a smell of grass in the air. And no, I don't mean the happy grass that a lot of people seem to experiment with in college a lot, I mean like lawn grass; like it has freshly been cut. It was nice. Reminded me of spring back in Ireland where the fields were always cut for silage. Set of my allergies all the time, but it was still a nice smell before I condemned my nostrils to death. There were a few people out and about the campus pathways, many of whom said excuse me as they passed me. I like it when people are polite. Suppose they feed into the Canadian stereotype in a way. But at least it isn't a bad thing to be recognised for. As soon as I speak people think I'm some sort of alcoholic.

I was passing one of the many coffee houses on the route between my apartment and the campus. Usually, a warm drink tames my nostrils from this weather so I may as well go in and treat myself. It's what I deserve for listening to about how women protested to end drinking. At least I think that's what Professor Madison said. Man, I really need to pay more attention. I stood in the short line there was to the counter. As I was processing in my head what I would like to order, I felt someone's paw tap my shoulder.

"Oh, hello there" I said once I saw Princess stand behind me. "I am so glad it was you. I was debating on whether I should run away before you turned round" Princess said with a smile on her face. "How are you doing?" I asked her as I moved a few steps forward in the line. "I'm ok. What did you think of Mad Max's lecture today?" she asked as she moved forward with me. "Oh my, are you actually calling him that?" I asked. "Calling him Professor Madison makes him sound like a gynaecologist" Princess retorted, which made me laugh. "I never would have thought about that you see. I don't require a gynaecologist you see" I said. "I think you need one because you're such a pussy" Princess said trying to stifle her laughter. I turned around very slowly, with my mouth wide open like I was at the dentist, trying not to smile. "You wanna take this outside?" I said in a pretend menace sounding way. "Ohh, I am so scared" Princess said as she pretended to hide behind her paws. I reached out and started to tickle her sides and she started laughing loudly.

It was cut short by the female barista shouting "Next please!". I walked forward to the counter and said my order; "Large Mocha to go please". The Barista went off to do my order. "Big meanie" I said sticking my tongue out at Princess. "If it helps, I haven't got one wither. But it's not very often I think of something so funny" Princess said breathing heavily. "Ahh sure if you need one ill happily volunteer" I said. Princess gasped and smacked my arm as she was blushing hard. "You naughty boy" she added, which I responded with a light growl, only making her blush even more.

"This is the second coffee house that you and I have been two. We must be looking to complete the coca mile" I said. "The coca mile?" she asked with a raised eyebrow. "Going to every single coffee shop within a mile of the university" I replied. "Yeah, I would like to do that. I honestly really enjoyed our little date" Princess said, with her eyes widening as soon as she said that. "I mean out little outing" she said as I turned around to look at her, seeing her get all flustered. "I enjoyed it to. Hopefully another one can happen soon" I said. Princess looked a little more relaxed as her smile returned to her face.

The Barista called over to me; "Mocha?". I turned around to face her. "Yeah, that's me" I said cheeringly. "Four Dollars please" she stated. I handed her a five and said she can put the change in the tip jar. She smiled at me and thanked me. I turned back to princess as she made her order for a large tea to go with two sugars. The barista went off to that as I stood beside her. "What did you get up to after our date anyway" I said chuckling. Princess smiled; "I had a lot of work and studying to be getting on with. But I didn't do any of it and I watched some videos online" she said. "Sounds fun" I retorted. "What about you, what did you get up to once you left?"

When she asked that I was remembering what happened. How I came home to shower and I was jumped in there by my best friend. And how I done him so hard that I was convince his brain was about to come off flying. His tail bouncing on against my belly as my hips were forced against his with speed with loud sensual and happy noises coming from the both of us. "Humphrey?" Princess asked. "Oh, I just hung out with my roommate" I answered quickly leaving my train of thought.

"Tea!" the barista said. Princess went over and paid for it and we walked towards the door with our drinks. "Well, it was nice seeing you, maybe next time in the lecture halls, you can sit next to me. So, I don't have boredom written on my cause of death?" I said as we walked through the doors onto the street. "Sure, that would be nice. Anyway, I have to go. I promised my mum I would facetime as soon as I get back from class. I need to go before she calls the police again" Princess said. "Wait… again?" I asked. "Long story. I will tell you on our next date" she said accompanying it with a wink. "See you later" she said as she took over walking briskly. Now that is a story that I want to hear.

It was another five minutes until I was walking up the stairs of my apartment building. Passing a few wolves chatting in the halls who faces I have come to recognise over the last while. Some of them give me a nod as I walk past them sometimes. Things are I opened my door and I saw Hutch sitting in the kitchen. He was sitting facing away from the door looking down into an A4 sized hardback book. "Honey I'm home" I said a loud effeminate voice. Hutch chuckled, "Welcome back" he said. He didn't take his eyes away from the book as he stood from the table. "Here you can have my chair. My butt has it nicely warmed up for you" Hutch said chuckling as he walked over to the cabinets. "Thanks Hutch. And thanks Hutch's big fluffy ass" I said, laughing away at my own joke like… a weirdo. Yeah, I'm a weirdo, I guess.

"How was your big lecture today?" Hutch asked still looking into his book at the counter as he was searching the cookie cabinet. "It was boring, thankfully we weren't kept in for the full two hours. Went and got myself a treat" I said lifting my coffee cup and setting it down like I was monologing with a prop in a play. As I was looking at the cup, I felt arms wrap around my chest with Hutch laying his head on my neck. "You don't have to go buy treats you know. I'm always here to give you one" Hutch said in a teasing tone. "I didn't want to take you away from your work" I replied. "Hey if you want a treat after a long day then my stuff can wait" Hutch said. "I wasn't expecting this I got to say" I said feeling my cheeks redden. "Ohh really, then what's this about then?" Hutch asked as he reached down to my jeans and grabbed onto a bulge.

"Umm… that's my phone", and as I said that it buzzed and made a popping notification sound. "Sorry" Hutch said laughing and letting go. "To be fair it looks like your big one from that angle" he added as he stood up. I chuckled and reached into my pocket to bring out my phone. "But never mind that, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me today. I'm thinking of going to the mall and getting new shoes. You can come with me and keep me company. And we can get pizza on the way back" Hutch asked me, and he brought his head back down to my. "If you want man, I don't have any other plans" I said.

I clicked the lock button and my phone let up to see a message. It was from Kate, the blonde wolf. She said she wants to meet up later. Her and her friend have a dinner reservation, but her friend isn't available, and she wants to know if I will come along. "Ohh, it's Kate" Hutch said, all tone in his voice seemingly gone. "Yeah. She has a spot open for dinner tonight. She's inviting me. Should I go?" I ask Humphrey. "Sure, go ahead and hang out with Kate. No biggie" Hutch said as he sat at the other end of table. "I'll just hang out here, and just chill out, by myself" Hutch said, his tone seeming to become a little more hostile.

I have to admit I did feel a little guilty. Hutch wouldn't even look into directly towards me. "Look dude I'll just tell her I already have plans. Me and you will hang out" I said in a pleasant tone of voice, trying to raise the mood a little. "No, no, no. It's ok. Go hang out with her" Hutch spat. "Dude if you want me to hang out with you, I will ok" I said reaching my paw over to rest it on his arm on the table, hoping it would maybe calm whatever is happening down. Hutch just flinched and took his arm away.

"Fine. If you don't want me to hang out with you, I'll leave you to it then" I said folding my arms. ""Yeah, just leave me here all alone" Hutch said in a huffy voice. I cocked my eyebrows. "Is everything ok?" I asked. "Shut up" Hutch muttered underneath his breath as he got up from the table and sat on the sofa. "I'm sorry. What did you just say?" I snapped with a raised voice. Hutch just shrugged his shoulders. "I am willing to spend time with you man so why are you getting angry at me? I haven't even said yes to Kate's plans so what is the big deal?" I asked standing up from my chair. Hutch again wouldn't look over to me. He kept his eyes focused out the window. I knew he was listening to me as his ears were twitching, he was just purposely not talking.

"I'm not in the mood for this childishness man. If something is bothering you just say", I got no response. He just aimlessly stared out the window. I let out an exasperated gasp as I felt the frustration build in me. I didn't want for this to brew into a big fight. "You know what. I'm leaving" I pushed in my chair and lifted my phone into my pocket. ""Maybe when I come back you might be a little less moody with me" I said turning around and walking out the door quickly, closing it with a loud thud.
