Chapter 12 – The Truth

It was fun taking a bath with Cloud Nyne since she made sure I was alright the entire time plus her little monkey kept playing in the water with us which got me laughing since it was cool. She even helped me out of the bath and redid my bandages for me which I thanked her for which only made her smile before she took me to my dad ignoring the guards. I walked over to him and sat down on his lap before falling asleep again only to glare up at him when he chuckled but he just patted my head allowing me to fall back asleep against him.

Cloud: "She must not have slept well in the infirmary."

Cross: "No, she's more worried about her friends since everyone was badly hurt… although I'm still wondering how she became a general."

Cloud: "I think we all are she's the youngest one yet."

I could feel that dad knew I wasn't really asleep yet but he knew I would fall asleep soon since I had been to wired to have a good sleep, worried about the other's as well as the wounds I had plus about what happened in the ark. I wound up falling asleep only to wake up to someone yelling so my head snapped up while looking around to see what happened thinking we were being attacked. Dad grabbed me before pulling me back down to his chest while I looked up at him rubbing my eyes still tired.

Cross: "Calm down Lvellie this is my daughter after all, she wasn't sleeping well so I figured she'd sleep better with me."

Cloud: "I can vouch for that she pretty much passed out the minute she was in his lap."

Kira: "Dad who's Lvellie?"

Cross: "Someone from the order squirt, don't worry about it and go back to sleep."

I looked up at him my eyes already dropping as I feel back asleep exhausted and completely ignore Lvellie screaming at dad but I guess he must have put a spell on me so I couldn't hear him since his yelling didn't wake me up again. When I did wake up I noticed that I was in a big bed with dads' cloak over me and looked over to see he was sitting down with some weird guy so I got up grabbing his cloak. I walked over to him smiling which he returned when he saw me and patted the spot next to him so I walked over and sat down next to him while he placed the cloak over the arm of the couch.

Cross: "Kira this is Lvellie, he's from Central which is higher up in the order."

Kira: "Ok… so he's Komui's boss?"

Cross: "Sort of brat, for now just relax your still wounded."

Kira: "I know dad the nurse said to relax and not jostle it too much or it might take longer to heal."

Cross: "That's right."

Kira: "What's he here for?"

Lvellie: "I'm here to find out why Cross disobeyed order's."

Kira: "Wasn't he on a mission to stop the akuma factory?"

Lvellie: "Yes, but he didn't send reports in."

Kira: "Why? He didn't find out anything, did you want reports on his failure???"

I could tell that I had stumped him while my dad started chuckling while shaking his head while I looked at them tilting my head wondering if this is how they expect everyone to behave, because if that's the case I'd leave right now.

Lvellie: "Can she use magic as well."

Cross: "No she doesn't."

Lvellie: "Oh then why did you have her go with Allen into the fourteenth's room?"

Kira: "Because I was badly wounded… do you want me to show it to you?? He figured I'd be safer in the room with Allen, I mostly sat on the couch in there while Allen played the piano."

Lvellie: "What about the song?"

Kira: "Allen taught it to me."

He just sat there turning it over in his head before he got up and left I waited until he was gone before I started laughing while dad broke out laughing to, I had to smile since this was something that we both seemed to have together.

Cross: "Oh man, if I knew you could get under his skin like that I would have introduced you two sooner."

Kira: "Yea that was fun… but what happened in that room dad?"

Cross: "Did you read the note?"

Kira: "Not yet I collapsed the minute I got in here remember?"

Cross: "Right, you've taken over my role for the fourteenth so the contract has passed onto you."

Kira: "So I'm supposed to help Nea get back to Mana?"

Cross: "Yes while finding a way to separate the two."

Kira: "Can I make a magical body for him? Or does it have to be human? If so then it's going to be hard."

Cross: "Hmm I never thought of that… I guess you'd have to ask him if he makes an appearance."

Kira: "Ok, if he does then I need to find parts for it."

Cross: "I have some hidden away that you can use, here its where there located."

He said handing me a map of where everything he had was located throughout the order hidden my magic so it wouldn't be found unless they searched the whole building by magic. He told me all about what I had to do as well as what to expect when this all hit the fan since it meant that the order would try to stop it and worse yet they would either try to use Allen or try to kill him.

Cross: "Alright brat one last thing, Maria wants to go with you if something happens to me, my magic will automatically go to you since your my blood."

Kira: "Ok but what about Judgement?"

Cross: "I have a feeling it will go to you."

He said as Judgement soared over to us and landed in my lap glowing a little which had me laughing while dad shook his head already knowing I'd made a big impact on his own innocence.

Cross: "Seems like you made a big impact on them."

Kira: "Yep and I'd be happy to take them only if something happens to you dad, although it would be mostly to get revenge on whoever did it."

Cross: "Alright brat."

I smiled at him before leaning my head against his shoulder just as the door opened and those weird guards came in again which had me looking at them confused before dad sighed.

Cross: "Those are called Crows there Lvellie's bodyguards."

Kira: "I see so there just here to kiss his ass?"

Cross: "Little brat."

I could tell he was trying not to laugh but then Allen walked in and I smiled at him before wincing as I had tried to get up to quickly making dad sigh before making me stay put on the couch which had me nodding.

Cross: "Stay there your still recovering."

Kira: "Right… sorry…"

Allen just shook his head at the face I was showing since it hurt a lot since the bite was still knew and fresh but thankfully it had sealed over so it wasn't bleeding as much anymore.

Cross: "Go to head nurse when were done."

Kira: "Its bleeding again isn't it?"

He nodded which only had me groaning while he told Allen about him being the fourteenth, which was recorded, while I winked at Allen giving him the signal that we needed to talk later making him blink twice at me which was his signal that he understood. So I sat there for the entire meeting before I was helped out of the room after hugging dad looking at him with tears in my eyes knowing something bad was about to happen. When we left we went to the infirmary first to check on my neck which had only opened a little which made me sigh but she redid the bandages anyway since it was almost fully healed which had me happy so I headed to the library shortly after getting more pain pills for my wound. I smiled seeing Allen there placing a blanket over Lenalee and Jonny which had me smiling at him knowing he was being nice to them. Then we walked over to the window I sighed seeing the two shadows there but told Allen everything I knew that dad had told me which had him looking at me shocked.

Kira: "If I can make the magical body I can separate you two but I have to talk to Nea about it first since I'm not sure if it'll work."

Allen: "Alright I'll let you know if I sense him moving."

Then we decided to walk around a bit which had me sigh since the people thought it would be a good idea since that's what the Earl wanted and I was proven right when a noah came in to take the egg back. Allen and I opened the ark before jumping right into battle knowing this was going to hurt since my neck still wasn't fully healed yet. We started attacking the akuma and skulls trying to take away our people so I started there while Allen helped out, we were joined shortly after by everyone else as we started taking down the akuma trying to protect our headquarters' which had me glaring at the female noah. Whom Allen called Lulu Bell so I guess they must have had a run in with each other before I got there but she couldn't catch me which had me smiling. I had on my generals coat so a lot of the akuma's were coming after me because of it which didn't matter to me they were all weak, even the level threes were getting to be boring and weak for me. Since both my strength and speed had been upped during my last battle against one of them that now I could defeat them easily which had me sighing although it would go better if I was in better health. Lulu Bell managed to grab my ankle and throw me into the wall making the bite wound bleed which made her stop as she looked at it before ripping off the wrapping.

Lulu Bell: "So you're the one Tyki wants."

My head snapped up at her as she threw me at the egg making my back hit the top hard as I fell onto the egg before I blacked out when I woke up I was in Allen's hands and I smiled up at him.

Kira: "Thanks Allen."

He nodded down to me smiling but then we heard laughing and looked around confused just before we saw a baby looking akuma who just so happened to be a level four. I groaned as we took off to deal with it making me want to completely destroy everything so they would stop coming after us but thanks to Lenalee and dad we were able to destroy it which had me happy. Then we all wound up back in the infirmary but we were realiced shortly after so Allen and I walked around a bit happy only to look at the white shadows that now became our shadows.

Allen: "This is going to take some getting used to."

I nodded to him already knowing what he was talking about but then we were sent off on another mission to get innocence while destroying akuma with new cloths well for everyone else whose was now red while mine stayed gold which had me thinking of dad. Since I pretty much still haven't told him fully how I got my new uniform which had me groaning but then an akuma grabbed my ankle and threw me away from everyone.

Kira: "Damn it! I really have to keep my mind in the game."

Akuma: "Miss Cross, this is for you from master noah."

I looked at him shocked before taking the small box that was a little bigger than my hand before cleaving the akuma in half before I put the box away so the other's wouldn't know about it.
