"Jaune! Where were you!?", Pyrrha asked.

Jaune was not ready for this when he came back to school. It turned out that he was missing the entire day and came back to Beacon in the evening. He would have to thank XI for the lift later. Speaking of the robot, when he was rescued from the Psychos he was crying inside the helmet when he saw the space robot, but seeing that he was pretty late and luckily his abduction and rescue occurred within 12 hrs. Sadly he didn't get to talk any longer due to his schedule. So, in the end, his day wasn't so bad after all. That was until he met his angry/concerned teammates in his room.

"I was...", Jaune tried to think of an excuse and then said, "uh... meeting with a friend of mine"

"You could have told us", surprisingly Ren spoke up, "because you also went ahead without telling us anything"

Jaune was about to come up with something for that but then Nora came out of nowhere and curiously asked, "What kind of friend?", then she became excited as she continued, "Hey, was it some secret spy guy, or were it actually your parents... oh was it some secret girlfriend you went for?"

Jaune just stood there at Nora's question, shocked at her imagination especially at the last one. Ren facepalmed at this and put his hands on her shoulders and tries to pull her, he says, "Nora, please think before what you accuse him of, will you?"

Nora doesn't budge from the ground and keeps standing and looking at Jaune with mischievous eyes. Jaune gulps at her but walks a little back. He tries to think of some excuse and he then says, "It was an old friend, seriously. We had a lot of catching up to do, we still do though", Jaune looks at the ground. His meeting with XI was short-lived considering he was late for the last Bullheads for Beacon.

Nora excitedly says, "Can I meet him? or is it her? Can I meet it? Oh, and did that person gave you that", she points towards Jaune's Omega Morpher.

Jaune had no idea what to say, but then surprisingly Pyrrha came to his rescue and said, "Nora, I think we should just let him go, for now, we all are tired and should get some rest okay"

Nora surprisingly agrees with Pyrrha and goes to her bed. Ren goes to his bed as well. Jaune was going to change but is stopped by Pyrrha as she stands in front of him. Seeing the worry in Pyrrha's eyes Jaune. Jaune knows what that expression was about. He thinks about telling her what happened today but that has to wait, he pushes that aside. He silently says, "Sorry", and goes back to his bed. Today was just a hectic day he didn't want to talk about.

One week later:

The next week sailed as smoothly as possibly could be. With his teammates still being concerned about Juane's mysterious and unexplained disappearance, Jaune had to be extra careful with today. So, with that in mind, he takes his scroll and informs Pyrrha that he will be busy meeting his friend today as well.

Jaune soon made it out of the Academy and slipped his way into the 'The Spectrum II'. The way Jaune made it into the ship was pretty tricky, so it's also best if it's not told what happened.

Jaune makes it into the ship. Unlike last time when it was an emergency this time he had time to spare. He didn't remember the ship much clearly but it was still quite different from last week. The changes were there but he just couldn't pinpoint what. The ship was, because of not being from Remnant, was as expected to be different from any other ships on this planet

He looks at XI and asks, "XI, what happened when I was gone?"

XI looks at Jaune and said it's usual robotic tone, "I will be able to fill in the gaps when you would tell me what happened before you were gone"

Jaune looks at XI with regret in his eyes as he painfully remembers that day. He quietly says, "When Kiya stabbed Blue Emissary, I tried to save him. When she somehow got the White Omega Morpher I just took it from her", as he shows the Morpher, "The Emissary then just touched me by my shoulder and sent me here"

There was a small silence between the two. XI then says, "After that, the Emissary was quite drained of his powers. Which all was required for Kiya and her allies to kill the Emissary", Jaune looks at the robot with wide eyes. He knew that would have happened, he kept hoping that the others would have saved the Emissary, but it all failed. It was all his fault. XI continues, "Fortunately the rest of the Omega Rangers along with the help of other Rangers came in and stopped Kiya"

Jaune takes in the news. He felt a bit relieved when he hears that Kiya was taken care of. He asks, "So, where are they?", as he thinks about Zack, Trini, and Jason.

XI responds, "After taking care of Kiya and her subordinates we encountered some dangerous beings who were destroying everything in their paths"

Jaune remembers what Trek said and mutters, "The Empyreals"

XI, despite being a machine was surprised and says, "I'm surprised you know that"

"The Psychos told me when I asked them about you guys"

XI remained silent for a few moments, then he continues, "Unfortunately they weren't the only threat, but after numerous accomplishments, we all were finally able to restore peace from planetary level threats. Soon after that the Omega Rangers retired and left for their home planet"

There was a quiet moment between the two. Jaune was looking at XI and wanting him to continue, but the robot didn't say anything else. Jaune then breaks the ice and says, "Why didn't you guys came here and took me back?"

XI replies, "There was no need. The Empowered were freed from the connection of the Morphin Grid, and Safeheaven later became a place for refugees rather than for the Empowered. There was no need to drag you back into that place"

Jaune was experiencing too much shock from the news he was getting. He never expected that something like this would even happen. He was happy that everything went fine, but there was still one question that was stirring in his head. He asks, "Why didn't you freed me from the connection to the Grid?"

XI replies, "The Blue Emissary was capable of seeing future events. While his visions of the future were blurred he could still see some important events. In one of those visions, he saw you, as an adult and as an Omega Ranger, facing a very strong and destructive being"

As if there was not any more shocking news for Jaune. This came out of nowhere like a bombshell. Jaune stood there flabbergasted thinking whether to take it as good news that he could be a Ranger or the fact that the Remnant is under some serious danger. Jaune stood there for quite some time, but XI then snaps Jaune back to reality. Jaune looks at the robot and says, "Man, that's a lot to handle for me"

XI says, "I didn't expect you to. He said it himself that he would have guided you in training to become a Ranger but given that he was later killed I could only monitor you. Anyway, when the Rangers went back to their home planet I was left alone with this ship 'Spectrum II'. I went back to Safehaven and protected it for some time and kept tabs around the universe, but I also kept the sensors up so I could monitor whenever there was a spike in the power from the Grid. Two weeks ago I saw an energy spike coming from this planet. I expected that you started using the Morpher, but when I came here it turned out that it was the Psycho Rangers instead"

Jaune says, "Yeah. So, are you going to help me?"

XI says, "Unfortunately I worked with trained and experienced Rangers and don't have any experience to train one", Jaune's face fell after hearing that, "but during my days with Zack, Trini, and Jason I have gathered enough data to guide you halfway through", Jaune smiled a bit at that. At least he won't be alone in this matter. XI then says, "Now that you acquired what occurred after you left. I believe you still have few questions regarding the Psycho Rangers"

Jaune nodded his head and says, "Yes", and thus there goes his full day in getting what was he truly against.

Okay, guys, I really wanted to publish this earlier but my life and my imagination didn't let me do it. I mean that I knew what I had to write but 'how' was the problem that came.
