Hey Guys! Sorry it has been super long since I have updated. Motivation has been seriously lacking. Also, I noticed a few spelling mistakes in my last chapter (as I like to reread things after being away for so long). I am sorry for those! It's difficult because I don't have anyone to edit these stories, so I just honestly post them as is sometimes and go back and fix it later if I can! Anyway, enough with the rambling! I hope you enjoy this chapter (whenever it may be posted XD).

Chapter 11- Regret

Hiroki turned over onto his side, his head throbbing as the sun peaked in through the deep blue curtains. He didn't really recall much after they had started eating, but it was obvious he had a little too much to drink. He never really drank that much, so the wine was heavy to him. He yawned and stretched his arms out beside him, feeling a bit started when he felt warmth under his hand. He cracked his eyes open and he jumped.

"Uwaah!" Hiroki croaked, scrambling and falling off the bed, taking the silk blue sheets with him. He peeked over the edge of the bed to a completely naked and sleeping Tatsuya. Oh hell...ohhhh hell. What happened? Surely he just got sick or something...or maybe it wasn't laundry day and he had no clean pajamas? Right? Hah...Oh god.

Tatsuya stirred a bit at the commotion and he sudden breeze. He turned on his side and smiled a bit before opening his eyes. "Good Morning."he said, his voice thick with sleep still. "Are you alright?"he asked, propping up on one elbow. He looked over at Hiroki, looking ridiculous with the heap of sheets and blanket swathed around him.

Hiroki rummaged through his mind on what he could possibly say. Does he pretend nothing happened- wait nothing did happen! "Ah...good morning..."he said, he pulled the sheets tighter around his unclothed body. "I...I am late for work."he said, standing, dragging he sheets with him as he looked around the room for his clothing.

Tatsuya smiled. "The clothes are in the wash...I had someone bring a clean pair of clothes for you last night."he said, standing. He was completely unfazed by being naked right now. He smiled at Hiroki's scrambling. "Why don't you go shower and I will prepare breakfast. Then I can take you to work."he said.

Hiroki swallowed and could only silently nod. He looked away as Tatsuya pulled on a pair of sweatpants and a simple sweater. Good god...he couldn't tell what had happened and Tatsuya wasn't giving him any indications or hints. "Oh...thanks." He then watched as Tatsuya left the room for the kitchen.

It was a few moments before Hiroki was able to bring himself to reality and start making his way to the bathroom. He took a step forward and instantly he felt the pain in his hips and he felt himself go cold. It may have been while...but he could never forget a pain like that. He bit his lip and felt tears well up. He made his way to the bathroom and turned on the shower. He turned it as cold as he could, dropping the sheets and stepped inside. The icy water bit at his skin, but it felt nice.

He wasn't so shallow that he would just have sex with someone because he was lonely...or at leas that was how he had carried himself up until now. Sure he and Nowaki were separated right now...but he had hoped...that maybe they could work it out. He just wanted to be a little resistant this time...to really teach Nowaki. Would Nowaki even want to look at him after he finds out he had slept with Tatsuya? The last seven years it had only been Nowaki...seven years.

Hiroki hit the wall of the shower and pressed his forehead against the tiled wall. "Dammit."he cried quietly.

Nowaki had not slept well at all. It was clear on his face as he sat in the living-room, sipping his fifth cup of coffee. He didn't have to work today, thankfully. He was going to go to Mitsuhashi today to see if he could run into Hiroki. His sleep deprived state gave him just the desperation he needed to be adamant about seeing Hiroki.

After finishing up his last cup, he decided to go shower to wake himself up. The long hours at the hospital and dealing with his current stress, he needed all methods of staying awake right now. He didn't care if he had to keep going until he gave out, he would talk to Hiroki.

~1030~

Nowaki stood outside the main gate, looking around as he waited. He knew that if he didn't see Hiroki in ten minutes, that he was either there and had come early, or decided not to come in at all. It was stressful. Especially with the looks he was receiving. He would endure it all.

He glanced around once more and then finally his eyes found him. He was about to wave and call out to him when he saw that man from the restaurant beside him. He watched them for a minute. He knew he he charged the man right now, it was likely he would upset Hiroki and chase him away again. It was also Hiroki's place of employment and he didn't want to cause any problems for him. Which is what made this an opportunity as well...He didn't want to be like that though, but Hiroki would probably actually talk to him if he thought he was going to cause a scene.

Nowaki clenched his fist as he watched the two talk. He couldn't hear what they were talking about, but he remained calm. Hiroki was acting a bit weird towards the man, thought the man seemed unfazed by it. It was unsettling and his resolve to remain still was fading. He took a deep breath and then stepped towards them. When he finally approached them, he had caught the end of their conversation.

Tatsuya smiled at Hiroki. "I can have your cloths sent back to your place this evening, or I could bring them to you myself."he said with a smile, leaning on his car.

Hiroki shook his head and gripped the strap to his bag. "No, that's fine...you can just send them...I will be busy for awhile grading."he said, looking down at his shoes. He hadn't been able to bring his eyes to meet Tatsuya's at all today. He was to ashamed. "Thanks for breakfast...I need to get going."he said. He then waved and turned, but immediately crashed into someone. He stepped back and rubbed his face. "Ah, sorry I wasn't looki-"he started but stopped when he saw it was Nowaki.

Nowaki looked down at Hiroki, his eyes not even glancing towards Tatsuya, because he knew that he wouldn't remain calm if he happened to see a smug grin. The end of their conversation told him that Hiroki had stayed the night at that man's place. He swallowed and looked down at Hiroki.

"Hiro-san...I...can we please talk?"he asked quietly. "I know you told me to never come to your work...but I couldn't help it. I was desperate and I know that this is the only place...I could catch you."he said. "Please Hiro-san...just thirty minutes."he asked softly.

Hiroki's eyes were wide in shock still from Nowaki being here. He felt the shame intensify as he looked at the man he had loved and been with for many years. So soon after his shameful act. He didn't even have time to prepare. He felt as if it was written across his forehead. He looked into Nowaki's eyes. They were clouded by circles. Had the man not been sleeping well? He looked so tired, he was honestly shocked he was still standing.

"Nowaki...I...I have to go to work."he breathed, trying not to panic and just take off again. He then stepped around Nowaki and then quickly walked towards the building.

Nowaki glanced at Tatsuya who was watching Hiroki leave. He glared at Tatsuya. He then stepped back and turned to follow Hiroki. "Hiro-san...Hiro-san!"he called after him, causing a few students to look on curiously.

Hiroki turned and glared at Nowaki. "Stop calling my name!"he snapped quietly. He then looked around. "This is my work place...stop it."he hissed.

Nowaki swallowed and then stepped closer. "Then meet with me after work...or on your break...please Hire-san."he whispered. "If you still want to go after we talk, I will let you do so...just please...I know it's selfish, but I need this."

Hiroki felt his heart throb at the pain and sadness in Nowaki's voice, he could hardly breath. He stood there for a long moment before the bell chimed. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Fine...five o'clock at the Family diner by the train-station...but only for thirty minutes."he said. He then turned and quickly left.

Nowaki felt relief wash through him. "Thank you, Hiro-san! Thank you. I will be on time."he said. He watched him go for a moment longer before turning. He looked down at his watch and sighed. He would have time to go home and take a nap before they had to meet. He was going to need all the luck that he could get he prayed it would be enough.
