Chapter 10:
Two out of the three teams looked shocked at what the Hokage said to them. It was Shikamaru who spoke that got everyone back to focus on the Hokage.
" Special Operation Class Hokage-sama ? " asked Shikamaru
" Yes young Shikamaru. If this becomes successful it would be a permanent division in our military " said Hiruzen
" But sir don't we have our Anbu program why would need another ? asked Kiba
" Yes you are correct Kiba we do have our anbu but our anbu are used for a different purpose that is classified. Now the program was created for multiple reasons but the main reason is for teams being over specialised. I had originally had an all tracker team with Hinata,Kiba,Shino, the Ino-Shika-Cho as an example . First an all tracker team would be very easy to disable you once they figure out what they are dealing with. With the Ino-Shika-Cho it's simple the other villages have already encountered your parents and your grandparents so it's easy to say that those villages will have a counter developed by now. It doesn't help that this year we had more clan students than the last couple of years . " said Hiruzen
" And this team selection sir ? " asked Kiba
" Simple with the program we will have three classes . First class search and rescue. Your main missions are simple search for survivors and provide them with aid in disaster situations from weather, battlefields, even accidents . This class will go to team 10. Hinata Hyuga with your Byakugan you can see chakra through any ruble for life signatures. Choji Akimichi with your clans jutsus you can help clear rubble and debris plus with your strength you can carry the injured. Shino Aburame with your clans insects you can send your bugs into the ruble to check the condition of trap are just a few examples that I'm giving with all your talents combine you three will make the first search and rescue squad." said Hiruzen.
" Thank you Hokage-sama " said Choji
" We will make sure not to fail you " said Shino
" Shino-kun is correct we are honored by your praised " said Hinata
" Excellent to hear. Now for the next team tracking, and counterintelligence. Every village has secrets from clan information to hokage files and other leaders like to send spies. Your job is to make sure our secrets stay protected while gathering info from our opponents. And that's where you come in team 7 Sasuke Uchiha. Your sharingan once awakened will help dispel any genjutsu any spy has and help plant false information if needed. Kiba Inuzuka your clan skills in tracking are second to none. and Your clan bloodline can help you detect the level of chakra someone has .Spies are smart, your job is to be smarter. Shikamaru Nara with your intellect you will be able to predict your enemy movements and if necessary create a take down plan." said Hiruzen
" Thank you Hokage-sama " said Kiba, Sasuke just nodded and went back to look at the window.
" What a drag". Said Shikamaru
" And finally team 8 " said Hiruzen. Naruto, Sakura, and Ino all stood up
" Sir " they all said.
" You three are have skills that can work in any situation. You three will be the first team to be sent out to assess any situation that could arrange from any number of things, even backing up another team. . Sakura Haruno with your increasing skills in the medical field you will make a fine med-nin keeping many of my troops or even wounded civilians from dying. Ino Yamanaka with your family `bloodline techniques you will be able to scout ahead and get an enemy position . And Finally Naruto Uzumaki with your shadow clones, large chakra reserves and fighting abilities you can literally be a one man army because of that you three will be the first .Combat class
" Thank you sir " said Naruto with a smile. Both girls are blushing but thank their Hokage for his praise.
" Now just because you are assigned to a specific class does not mean you are only taking those missions. You will be taking all missions but when those specific missions come up they are going to your team. However Those missions won't happen until one you in your team becomes a chunin. I want all of you to get experience in so until the chunin exams you will be taking normal missions like the rest of my forces. Your teachers will also be taking you to facilities that are going to be teaching you about your class. " said Hiruzen he motions for one of the jounin to step forward .
" Hello teams my name is Sarutobi Asuma I will be jounin Sensei for team 10. Before we can begin your training. You must pass the survival test to become genin . " he said
" WHAT " screamed Kiba
" But we already became genin sir. " said Choji looking a little scared only team 8 is calm everyone else is getting nervous
" You are mistaking the test you took was merely weeding out those who did not have what it takes. " said Asuma. Kiba was about to respond when Asuma raised his hand.
" Tomorrow all of you will be tested for now you will all meet your jounin sensei " said Asuma.
" Good luck to you all. Remember to believe in yourself and believe in your team and you will do great. " said Hiruzen before standing up making the teams stand up and bow to their Hokage. Mizuki and Iruka follow him out leaving the 3 sensei watching the teams.
" Right well team 7 meet me on the roof'' said the silver haired jounin before he poofs out of there.
" Team 8 follow me, '' said Kurenai, easily being recognized by team 8. They get up and follow her. They walked until they reached a field.
" Welcome to training field 8 if you pass the survival test then this is will you will be training as team 8 " said Kurenai
" Hai sensei " all three of them said.
" Good now since, we don't have to go through the introductions. I just want to say that I'm proud that you guys pass. Also don't even try asking other teams all the tests are going to be different . Be here at noon tomorrow " said Kurenai
" Hai sensei " said all three of them.
" Good now you three are dismissed and good luck." said Kurenai with a smile and she disappears in a swirl of leaves.
" Naruto-kun what is going to be our plan for tomorrow ? " asked Ino
" We should try to be ready for anything " answered Naruto
" Should we use our weapons ? " asked Sakura. Naruto closes his eyes and goes into his thinking pose. Both Sakura and Ino blush at how cute Naruto looks.
" Cha Naruto-kun looks so cute let's kiss him " said inner Sakura
' No no no no we need to focus on the survival test tomorrow not running our hand on his soft hair or getting lost in his deep blue eyes...dammit ' said Sakura to her inner. Ino on the other hand
' Kami, all the things I want to do to him.. no no no bad Ino first we have to pass our survival test ' thought Ino to herself while wiping a little bit of blood from her nose. They both get broken from their thoughts by Naruto.
" We won't use them unless we have too. We don't know what we will be facing tomorrow so we will have them stored in scrolls and use them if we need them…..huh Why are you blushing and why is Ino-chan bleeding from her nose ? " Naruto asked Sakura
" Oh it's nothing Naruto-kun " said Sakura looking away
" Yea nothing to worry about, " said Ino, wiping her nose . Naruto stares at them for a couple of seconds making them a little nervous before shrugging and walks away. Both girls sigh in relief before following him.
" First we need to try to get any information on tomorrow so all communication channels will be open. Yosh! Then we have to plan for any situation so let's hurry to my staging room and see what we can come up with, " said Naruto, giving a look of determination to the girls that light a fire in them.
" Right, " they both said. All three head off.
…..NEXT DAY…..
The hokage was sitting in his office looking at his jounin instructors in front of him. All but one has already tested their genin. Only Kurenai has not tested her team yet and he is waiting on Kakashi to get here so they can begin with the team assessment. Suddenly there is a poof
' Speak of the devil ' Hiruzen thought. He clears his throat to get everyone's attention. They all go quiet and wait on the Hokage.
" Well glad you can join us Kakashi now before we go over who passes and who doesn't we must address something else." said Hiruzen looking at Kurenai
" Kurenai how come you haven't done your survival exam on your team. ? " Hiruzen asked.
" I've thought of a way to test them, Sir but I'm going to need a little help, " answered Kurenai. " All three show great skills in every field add the fact they managed to take down an escaped prisoner together. Granted he was locked up for 4 years but 3 newly graduated genin stopped him with their teamwork. " finished Kurenai.
" Ahh...Yes the reports did mention that their teamwork is beyond what any genin team has shown so far in the last 3 years. So you came up with something for their survival test then.? " said Hiruzen
" Yes. However I will need the help of Asuma, Kakashi, Iruka, and Mizuki " said Kurenai already knowing their skill level thru training alongside them with Kurama. She knows that three can't beat these guys yet well maybe with Naruto bloodline they can but Naruto won't use it since he doesn't want the village to know yet. Naruto did say it would be good to see where the girls and his skills are at right now.
" Woah there isn't that overkill for the genin ? " question Asuma
" Yea do you want them to fail ? " said Kakashi
" Very well Kurenai you may test them after this meeting, " said Hiruzen, surprising everyone in the room.
" Thank you sir hopefully we won't be disappointed by them " said Kurenai
" Ok. Well let us continue with this meeting first up " said Hiruzen addressing the rest in the room
Kurenai tunes out everyone thinking how Naruto and the girls will handle their survival test.
' The guys will be in for a treat when they see what the three can do ' she inwardly smirks to herself . Her thoughts are broken when she hears the third for Kakashi results.
" Team 7 pass but barely. Kiba rushed in without thinking and I took him out pretty quick. Sasuke was a bit better but his arrogance will get him or his team killed; he refuses to accept help from anyone and is quick to anger . Shikamaru is lazy but his intelligence made up for it. He managed to get Kiba and Sasuke to work together although they didn't get the bells they did figure out the test. " answered Kakashi
" Do you think you might be able to help Sasuke. ? " asked Hiruzen. Kakashi ponders for a bit before giving a sigh
" I truly don't know sir. Itachi did a number him and doesn't help that the village treating him like royalty gave him an ego the size of mountain but I will try " answered Kakashi
" Ok...next is team 10. Asuma" said Hiruzen
" Team 10 pass sir. All three show they are capable of their giving task Hinata is a little bit shy she was able to help shino come with a plan, Choji is a team player and Shino silent one but he was the first to figure out the test " said Asuma
" Excellent well 6 teams pass and 4 fail not bad for this year's graduates. That will be all, Those who failed their teams return to your normal duties . For those that pass their teams tomorrow you will begin to train your genin. And as for you Kurenai I will observe the test. I would like to see how they do. Said Hiruzen
" Yes Hokage-sama " said Kurenai. Inside however she was surprised that the third wanted to observe.
' Ok ok ok no reason to be nervous just the Hokage going to be watching your team try to pass yea no worries ' Kurenai thought to herself slowly freaking out.
" Ok that concludes today's meeting . Kurenai I will see you at your training field." with that everyone leaves but Kakashi and Asuma
" let's hear your test " said Kakashi grabbing his book from his back pocket pissing off Kurenai
" I'll explain it after we get Mizuki and Iruka " said Kurenai
' Well then let's go " said Asuma
" Oh and Kakashi " said Kurenai
" mmm " said Kakashi before feeling like his doom is upon him. Looking from his book he sees what look likes the shinigami himself in front of him
" Put the book away and if I see it around my team I will burn it and put you in genjutsu where Gai is involved is that clear " said Kurenai with a stare that would put even Kurama in a fetal position crying out for mommy. Kakashi puts the book faster than Kurenai ever saw him do.
" Yes mam " said Kakashi looking at her like he just saw death. Asuma snickers before the fears grips his very soul. He looks at Kurenai and the fear doubles.
" That goes for you too Asuma. If I see you smoking around my students or me I will put you in a genjutsu so horrific that even your grandkids won't think of picking up a cigarette. Is that clear. " said Kurenai
" Yes sir..er I mean ma'am yes ma'am " said Asuma throwing the packet of cigarettes out the window. An angry looking Kurenai is replaced by a happy one .
" Ok then..well let's go get the other and make our way to the field " said a happy Kurenai walking out with a smile and a spring in her step. Both men look at each before coming to a single agreement.
" Scary " both men said before following her out the door.
…...Training field 8….…..
Sakura and Ino just arrived at the training field 8. The field itself is large and with a couple of rocks, and a stream along the field.
' Perfect for practicing jutsu's. And if Naruto-kun is right some of the forest that surrounds the area is also part of the field so good for practice with stealth. ' thought Sakura
' So Naruto-kun wasn't able to get any real information about what the test is going to be. Very clever of Kurenai, She probably knew she was going to be watched. We just have to be patient and be prepared for whatever she comes up with. ' thought Ino. They feel Naruto approaching and smile at him. He smiles back at them before making sure they were alone.
" Ok . The only type of information I was able to get is that team 7 and team 10 jounin sensei as well as Iruka and Mizuki are going to be involved for the test. Right now I have a drone trying to find anything while they go pick up Iruka and Mizuki " said Naruto
" Isn't that overkill for us ?" asked Ino
" Are team 10 and 7 going to be here we should be ready if they are somehow involved as well. " said Sakura
" That's right if they are involved then we also have to hide even more of our gear" said Ino
" Not really, " said Naruto. Both girls look at him with a look that screams explain.
" K and me were discussing that on our way here. We came to the conclusion that we could use most of the gear that we are going to use on a daily basis so the gauntlets are a go. The backpacks are ok though I think we could use it if we get pushed into the water. Our Other weapons stay sealed. K said that we should try to minimize the use of tech to see how far our training has come along. The moment they tell us our test we must quickly start planning our attack. " said Naruto
" Can we use the tracking satellites ? " asked Ino
" Depends on the situation they give us " said Naruto
" Anything else we should know ? " asked Sakura
" The hokage will be here watching us. I don't think he will be visible though so he might be hiding with his security detail. " answered Naruto
" Great! just great the hokage is going to be here "" said Ino rubbing her forehead.
" Why don't we just invite the whole village " said Sakura while looking annoyed
" I know I know but let's just treat it as another day, " said Naruto. Both girls sigh but nod their head in agreement. They activate their equipment and begin to put on their gear. They all put their earpiece on.
" Wait before we do anything, what do we tell them if they ask us about our gear ? " said Sakura pointing at her gauntlet
" If they ask I will explain. " said Naruto
" You three don't need to worry. Relax and remember your training. They will underestimate your capabilities which will be your key to passing. I will have some drones recording this so we can use the video for training. Oh! here they come I'll let you three go remember what I taught you and go wild. " said Kurama
" We won't fail " said Ino
" Right " said Sakura. Naruto just pounds his fist. They turn around and see Kurenai land. Kakashi and Asuma behind her. They breathe a sigh of relief when they don't see the other teams, They notice that Mizuki and Iruka are missing and begin calculating strategies.
" I see you three decided to be here early " said Kurenai with a smile
" We wanted to have time to come up with plans. " said Naruto
" Oh really and did you three come with one ? " said a smirking Asuma. To him he finds them a little amusing.
" Why yes in fact we came up with 18 different plans " answered Ino. Both Kakashi and Asuma even Kurenai were a little surprised.
" 18 plans huh " said Kakashi
" Well yeah we didn't know what we were up against so we made plans to try to help us with whatever you threw at us. " said Sakura. In one of the trees surrounding the field the hokage was impressed at the minds of the kids below him.
" Well looks like we are ready to begin then " said Kurenai
" Hai sensei " said all three
" Good. Now in our line of duty ninja's think that the enemy has valuable information. We tend to capture the enemy more often than kill them to gather any type of information they might have. Today we have that. We have two ninjas playing captured nin's who are your comrades . Us three are the enemy nin, your job is capture one of us and get the location of your comrades. " said Kurenai. Kakashi leans in to whisper something in her ear.
" I would like to see how well their teamwork actually is. May I add something to your test ?." asked Kakashi. Kurenai looks at her team and sees them already whispering to each other.
" What would you like to add ? " she asks him. Kakashi whispers to her she looks at him and nods. She looks back at the team.
" There is a catch however " said Kurenai getting the attention of the three genin
" What is the catch, Kurenai-sensei ? " asked Sakura" Since there are three of you but only 2 captives the first two who rescue them will pass. The other will fail and be sent back to the academy, " said Kurenai. All three look at each other and back at Kurenai. They give them a serious look and Kurenai looks at Kakashi.
' Looks like they didn't believe the last part ' thought Kurenai
" You have till 7 o'clock to rescue them " said Asuma
" When do we begin ? " asked Ino. The three jounin look at each other
" It begins now.. " ATTACK PATTERN ALPHA! " screamed Naruto interrupting Kurenai while throwing a smoke bomb on the ground. Kurenai signals to Kakashi and Asuma. Kurenai jumps back when three kunais struck where she was standing she looks at the kunais and notices the blinking light before her eyes widen
" MOVE " she screams. All three jump back as soon as the light stops blinking .
*BOOM* The explosion sent a shockwave that pushed the mid-air jonin back. The hokage and his anbu detail were intrigued at the size of the explosion. All three jonin quickly get organized before Asuma looks at the area where the explosion happened.
" What the hell was that. ?" said Asuma. No one got a chance to answer because from the top part of the smoke cloud Naruto came flying out while before raising his right hand at them and a volley of shuriken came flying from it. They quickly start blocking them with their own kunai or dodging them, Asuma was blocking with one of his trench knives. They notice that the shuriken are flying faster than normal. Asuma was just about to pull his second trench knife when a movement to his left caught his attention but was too late to stop it.
Sakura was waiting for the explosion to mix with the smoke bomb Naruto threw so they could begin their attack . She has been studying with her mom during the academy years on everything she needed to know on how to be a combat med-nin. And with her mother's help she was able to somewhat recreate something similar to Tsunade Senju super strength. The crater she made during her last training left a few people awed. Back to the test she saw Naruto give Ino and her the signal gathering chakra to her fist and feet she jumped through the cloud ready to see how far her training had come.
Ino was thinking along the same lines as Sakura. Although she did learn some medical skills it was mostly to learn how to simple healing. Her training mainly focused more on her clan's bloodline and types of poison she could use. With Naruto and Kurama-sensei's help she was able to expand her bloodline using the technology of the inception program . Kurama had said that with this she will be able to find exactly what she is looking for in half if not less time than it would take her clansmen or any member of the I&T department. She also realised her body was more adapted to a few flexible fighting styles so she began practicing few of the fighting styles that were suited for body. When Naruto gave the signal she began to move to her target just as Sakura went into the cloud.
Naruto always wanted to see how far in his training he has gotten. He knew that out of the Three Hatake Kakashi was the strongest so he would be dealt with first. From what little data he gathered Sarutobi Asuma was a wind user and was excellent in hand to hand combat especially with his trench knives. And finally their sensei Yuhi Kurenai now known as the Genjutsu Mistress. They knew she would not hold back just because they are friends which was perfect for them since they didn't want to pass the easy way. Thanks to his abilities with the Shadow Clone Jutsu he was able to learn more. Kurama had him learn every language, every map, politics policies ,and fighting style that he could think of and Kurama knew a lot. He already knows 9 different fighting styles with 10 others coming along nicely. So when he saw Kakashi lean in to whisper something in Kurenai's ear he informed the girls who to take out first. He already had made shadow clones before anybody had arrived and positioned them throughout the area as they were going to ask as decoys or back up. The moment the Kurenai said now Naruto jumped into action with the girls following.
Kakashi was blocking the shuriken , impressed at the speed the kid was throwing at them. He looked to his left seeing Asuma trying to warn him. Feeling danger to his right he saw the pink haired girl coming with her fist raised ready to strike. He grabbed her fist.
" good try" he began to say " But you will...Gah! " he was distracted with her that he did not notice Ino come from below Sakura and strike him in the spot where his liver is located letting go of Sakura and dropping to one knee he barely had time to bring his hand up to block Sakura's kick he was sent flying a couple feet. Before crashing he manages to perform a back flip to land on his feet again.
' Damn…..that felt like I just got kicked by Guy. Even though we are holding back these kids are high genin maybe even low chunin ' thought Kakashi. He was forced to move as a new wave of shuriken came his way. Once he blocked the last shuriken he noticed the girls missing from the field.
Asuma saw Naruto falling while still shooting shuriken. Once he landed Asuma sent his own volley of shuriken which Naruto deflected. Naruto begins running towards Asuma with his fist raised. Asuma was getting ready to grab his arm and slam him on the ground. However he was forced to ditch that plan when two blades popped out from the gauntlet he was wearing. Naruto brings his weight towards the swing watching in glee as Asuma-sensei uses both his trench knives to block his attack. Naruto grins at him
" Enjoy the heat sensei " said Naruto who quickly jumps back as a fireball heads their way.
" Ahhh damn! " said Asuma who just managed to replace himself with a log. As the fireball hits the log Asuma looks around the area for the genin.
' Where did he go?...better regroup. Really impressed with the skills so far ' he thought sprinting to Kurenai's location
" Target 2 has left for target 3 location " said Naruto coming out from his hiding place
" Copy target one has also left for target 3 location " said Sakura over the radio
" Copy moving to next part of the plan. Has the objective been found ? " asked Naruto
" Copy objective has been found small clearing in the forest there are a couple of traps here as well as a clone of Kakashi-sensei relying coordinates " said Ino
" Copy Sakura-chan move to Ino-chan's location try to see is you two can disable the traps without being seen by the clone. I will try to give you some extra time " said Naruto
" Copy moving out " said Sakura
Naruto made a clone then made it disperse itself giving the other clones the information for the new attack pattern. With that he jumps into the trees heading to where his clones are getting ready to assault the jonin .
Asuma just reached the clearing where he sensed Kurenai. Sensing someone coming from behind he gets his knife ready.
" I'm assuming the kids caught you off guard as well Asuma " said Kakashi landing next to him.
" That's an understatement. I think they can take on low to mid level chunin and probably
come out on top" said Asuma
" Did you notice something ? " asked Kakashi
" Yea the quick attack. They were probably trying to get a read on us " answered Asuma
"I think they don't want to show all their cards yet. " said Kakashi
" I don't know if I should be impressed or worried " said Asuma
" I hear you on that one .. how do you think…*BOOM*" what ever Kakashi was about to say was cut off by an explosion.
Kurenai as soon as she was separated from the Asuma and Kakashi placed a couple of genjutsus on the field which turn out to be useless when a volley of shuriken were sent to her location jumping from her spot she comes face with three Naruto's coming her way poise to strike. Thinking quickly she jumps back while throwing shuriken at the clones. The clones deflect the incoming projectiles but fail to notice Kurenai finishing the last hand signs.
" Katon Gokakyu no Jutsu " she said before shooting a fireball at the clones. One managed to jump away but the other two were consumed by the fire ball. The last clone threw an explosive kunai at Kurenai.
" SHIT " Kurenai said, jumping away as the kunai exploded. *BOOM*. The shockwave sent the female jounin back a few feet but managed to regain her balance. She looks up to see that the clone is gone.
' Mmmm the clone must of destroyed itself from the shockwave ' thought Kurenai
Naruto watched as the clone jumped away back into the trees he was in to wait for further orders. He had been watching since the clones began their attack on Kurenai sensei. Sensing the other two jonin he told the clone to dispelle to let the other clones when attack the jounins.
" Looks like we got here just in time eh " said Asuma
" I didn't think they be this good " said Kurenai
" It seems like they are holding back almost . " said Kakashi.
" I notice. I think it's because we are holding back that they holding back as well." said Kurenai
" Why would they do that? don't they know we hold back so they could show what they can do ? " asked Asuma
" Or maybe it's to see what we are dealing with. " said Naruto, jumping from his hiding spot. catching all the jounin the anbu and even the hokage of guard.
' Impressive he managed to hide his presence from everyone including myself…... or I'm getting too old for this ' Hiruzen thought.
" I'm impressed you were able to hide from us but why show yourself now in front of three jounin and by yourself ? " said Kakashi. trying to sense the other two genin. Naruto notices this and grins at them.
" You won't sense them, like every mission stealth is a very important thing on the field. " said Naruto.
" So they won't come to help you if you needed it ? " asked Kurenai
" Mmmm maybe but I never said I was by myself you guys did " said Naruto. Naruto begins his assault by bringing his arm up and begins shooting shuriken out of his gauntlet. The jounin decide to step it up a notch they decide if the team can handle high chunin levels. Naruto notices their power increase .
' They raise their chakra levels but they are still holding back. Mmm I guess they still won't take us too seriously. Well let's change that now shall we K
" Well said kit well said let Sakura and Ino know, we have to see if they are almost done with their part so we can show them your teamwork and let them know not to underestimate you three ever again " said Kurama
' HELL YEAH' said Naruto to himself
" Ino-chan, Sakura-chan how is it going over there " said Naruto
" Everything is ok we are about finished with the last trap. It's being taking care off by Sakura once she is done we going after the the clone " said Ino
"Negative try using your ability to see if you can try to get into the clones mind " said Naruto
" Well let's get this started. shall we " said Naruto who stopped shooting and was looking at them. They look at him before blurring into action. Naruto looks at them coming before waving at them and then dispelling in a cloud of smoke confusing the jounin.
" Another clone? How many did he make ? " asked Asuma. From their right 10 Naruto clones jump from the trees.
" If there's one thing I don't like, " said one of the clones. From their left 10 more clones show up.
" Is not being taking seriously " said another clone
" Let me change that " said one of the three clones that jump in the air from behind them. All three just finishing their hand signs
" Katon Gokakyu no Jutsu " all three said. All three fireballs head for each jounin
All three jounin are a look at the attack coming from the genin. Kakashi begins forming seals but is forced to jump away as a volley of shuriken comes thru the fireballs. Asuma jumped away but was attacked by a group of clones he was pairing with his trench knives. He saw something coming from the blades the clones were using in the gauntlet. Any further thoughts were interrupted as a clone came from behind him with his gauntlet blade.
' Wait….. Wind chakra! How is a mere genin able to manipulate wind chakra into the blade at such a young age?.' Asuma thought
Kurenai was impressed at the skills Naruto was showing. She gets a little confused when she sees the original Naruto just standing on the dodges an attack and is forced to focus on the clones attacking her and her fellow jounin. Taking a quick glance she saw Naruto talking before everything hit the fan.
Naruto watched as his clones attacked the jounin. He just went over the plan with the girls and Kurama and was waiting for the girls to finish. The girls said it was a little risky showing some of their tech but Naruto made them feel better when he said part of the plan was to hide the girls in simple genjutsu and hopefully with all the clones attacking might help further in masking their chakra signature so they wouldn't be easily detected. Naruto was checking over the plan again making sure it would have a chance of succeeding. The plan itself was really simple, though the test was to rescue the captured shinobi. Naruto thought it would be better if they showed everyone watching not to take them lightly next time.
" Naruto-kun we have rescued Mizuki-sensei and Iruka-sensei. They were a little surprised that we managed to rescued them but Ino and myself are almost in position. " said Sakura
" Copy that let me know when we can begin. Ino did you plant the suggestion in the clone of Kakashi-sensei ?" asked Naruto
" Yes the clone will dispelled itself and give the memories to Kakashi-sensei hopefully the suggestion will transfer. If not we still have a small window. " said Ino
" Either way we are ready to begin with the plan the moment you two get in position we will strike. " said Naruto
" Roger " they both said
" Ok then let's begin. " said Naruto. He adds some chakra into his hands before clones heard the clap and all of them jumped back. The original Naruto raised his hand in the air and the clones followed suit. All of them activated their gauntlet and the jounin were looking at Naruto's and his clones with their blades pointed at them. The Hokage has never been more impressed with any team since his own then the one in front of him. One of the anbu he sent to check on the two other members of team 8 brought back some interesting news. What he saw next was something that he will be amazed by for the next few weeks.
" ATTACK! " screamed Naruto. A few clones jumped out from trees behind the lines of the other clones once they landed they charged once they got a few feet the other clones charged. Sakura and Ino were moving through the clones.
" This kid is unreal, how many clones can he make ? " asked Asuma, blocking the first clone attack. He jumps backwards to avoid three what he now considers claws coming from above. Coming from his left he blocks the blades with his own. Then out of nowhere he feels like he is being hit by one of Kakashi raiton jutsus feeling his body go numb and he drops to the ground. Kakashi seeing Asuma fall destroys the 4 clones that he was fighting to go assist him when he notices something.
" What! Kurenai there is a gen HUAh… " Kakashi didn't get a chance to warn Kurenai because he too feels his body go numb, making him fall on his back.
' What is this?..I can't feel any chakra in this attack but it feels like a raiton attack. ' were his thoughts.
Barely able to stand Asuma feels a clone jump to his back followed by a blade pressed to his throat looking to his left he sees Kakashi being held down by two clones while three other clones are pointing their blades to lethal parts of his body.
" Well Kurenai-sensei I don't know about you but seeing as I have these two captured and the hostages rescued I'm guessing the mission was a success. " said a grinning Naruto. Hearing clapping from behind him he turns around to see the hokage walking up to him.
" Indeed Naruto the mission was a success but if I may ask how did you take down Kakashi and Asuma like that.? " asked Hiruzen
" Simple sir…..Sakura…...Ino " said Naruto. Both Ino and Sakura drop the genjutsu they were in and bow before the hokage.
" We came up with the plan while we were rescuing the hostages. " said Ino
" The plan was very simple we hid behind a genjutsu and with all the shadow clones in the area it made it harder for them to detect our chakra signature " finished Sakura
" Impressive use of a genjutsu and clones there kids." said Hiruzen
" I have a question...well two questions actually. " said Kakashi. They look at him to continue
" Well first can Asuma and myself get this clones of us ? " asked Kakashi with a deadpan expression. Asuma is just sweating since the clones still had the blade to his throat. Naruto grins while the girls giggle. Naruto nods at the clones and they dispel letting Kakashi and Asuma get up.
" How did you manage to get by my clone I had stationed to guard the prisoners ? asked Kakashi getting up with the help from Asuma
" That I can explain " said Ino " I had implanted two suggestions to your clone. First one was that it didn't detect us even if we were right in front of him and the second was that once he dispelled the memory you were to get was of our capture trying to free the captives. " Ino finished saying.
" We actually didn't know if the second suggestion was going to work or not. It was never tried on a shadow clone " said Sakura
" Well all in all great teamwork " said Kurenai.
" Yes I must say this is by far one of the best new genin team I have ever seen. I'm curious though, how did you manage to actually take down two jounins all you said was you used a genjutsu to hide your fellow teammates but I sensed no chakra in the attacks that were used to take them down. " asked Hiruzen.
The kids look at each other before Naruto looks at the hokage.
" Sorry hokage-sama we need to keep our team secrets. You never know who may be watching us right now. " said Naruto. Hiruzen gets a concerned look on his face when Naruto implied that someone was watching that wasn't supposed to. Trying to locate the intruder.
" Don't bother hokage-sama he left already. We thought they were with you but we sensed only two signatures come with you and they came around the same time but were positioned on the other side of the field." said Naruto.
" Very well. Only one thing left to do now. GENIN front and center. " he said with authority
" SIR " they said in unison
" On behalf of Konoha and myself we congratulate you 3 on officially becoming team 8 first A.R.C unit of the program be proud and prepare yourself for what will come with this responsibility. said Hiruzen smiling proudly at the 3 students in front of him.
" Thank you sir " said Ino with a bow
" We will not let you down " said Sakura with a bow
" You can count on us " said Naruto, smiling at Hiruzen.
" Before I forget where are Mizuki and Iruka ? " asked Hiruzen
" ….." was the only response
" Oops " said Naruto. Making a clone and dispelling it another clones comes moments later with the people in question.
" Ahh Mizuki, Iruka thanks you for helping " said Hiruzen
" We thought we were forgotten " said Iruka
" Heavens no the kids just finished and passed with flying colors. " said Hiruzen
" Yup they did a very good job and thanks again for helping us with this test " said Kurenai.
" No problem. Naruto,Ino, Sakura congrats on passing " said Iruka
" How about as a reward for passing out hoa about some lunch our treat. ? " said nods in approval.
" Can we bring Tsubaki-nee chan and Mika-chan as well ? " asked Naruto
" I don't see why not " answered Mizuki with a smile.
" Well I better go prepare myself for tomorrow, " said Asuma. Kakashi nods in agreement
" Prepare for what sensei ? " asked Ino
" D rank missions " answered Kakashi before disappearing in a cloud of smoke .
" See ya later pops " said Asuma waving at the Hokage before disappearing too.
" You have a nice lunch I will see you tomorrow for your first mission but for now I must return to my duties " said Hiruzen walking away from the training field.
" Well let's go then " said Mizuki making everyone left there follow him out of the training field.

" Mika come inside please, " said Tsubaki to her daughter who was playing in the backyard of Mizuki and her house with her toys. Mika sees her mother and smiles
" No" was the little girl's response . Tsubaki shot her an amused stare.
" Oh really " said Tsubaki. Her daughter just shook her head
"Well I guess you don't want to help me with the treats I made for your tousan and Naruto when they get here," said Tsubaki. Knowing just the reaction she smiles. Mika's eyes light up and she drops her toys and runs to her mom.
" Really Naru-onii-chan is coming with tousan ? " asked Mika
" Why yes your tou-san said he was bringing Naruto-kun over for some treats to celebrate but since you want to keep playing with your toys …." Tsubaki didn't get a chance to finish the sentence she was dragged by Mika
" It's ok mommy my toys can wait what are making for treats " said an overly excited Mika.
" Just a few snacks we have to see what they are going to want for dinner too " replied Tsubaki
" Ramen " was all Mika said .
" Oh really ramen " said Tsubaki
" Yup Nii-chan and mine's favorite food. Ramen is the food of the gods " said a proud Mika
" Foods of the gods huh " said Tsubaki.

Naruto just finished asking Sakura's mom to join them in celebrating when he stops and looks around making the rest of the group look at him.
" Something wrong Naruto-kun ? " asked Ino
" I sense something " said Naruto closing his eyes and smiling
" Well what is it ? " asked Sakura
" Someone has praised the food of the gods, " said Naruto, making the girls sweatdrop. Mizuki coughs
' Mika ' he thought
*Smack* " Oww what was that for Sakura-chan? " asked Naruto, rubbing his head.
" You had us worried baka " said an irritated Sakura
" Yea don't do that " said Ino
" Now now girls Naruto-kun is just expressing his love for his favorite food. " said Sayuki
" We know mom " said Sakura
" It's just we got worried for a bit Miss Haruno " said Ino
" I'm sorry girls, I didn't mean to worry you, " said Naruto, feeling guilty .
" It's ok Naruto-kun just next time let us know ok " said Sakura
" Ok " said Naruto
" Let's go get Mika and Tsubaki because I'm starving, " said Mizuki. The others agree and move one towards Mizuki house. When they arrive Mizuki opens the door and a blur passes by him
" NII-CHAN! " screamed Mika as she tackled Naruto with a hug that caused him to fall on his butt.
" Humph…..ouch hey Mika-chan how are you today? " asked Naruto hugging Mika.
" Nii-chan nii-chan how was your day,I was playing with my toys,are you a ninja like daddy,we are going for ramen,you want ramen I want ramen let's go get ramen" said Mika finally running out of breath.
" Whoa whoa slow down Mika-chan. Now to answer your questions. Yup Mika-chan I'm a ninja now just like your tousan and you better believe we are going to get some ramen. said Naruto. Making Mika jump for joy while bringing smiles to Sakura and Ino
" Well she is excited. Hello Naruto-kun congratulations on graduating you too Ino and Sakura " said Tsubaki walking to Mizuki and giving him a kiss before hugging Iruka and Sayuki. While they talk about where to eat. Sakura and Ino walk up to Mika.
" Hi Mika-chan " said Sakura
" Wow Mika-chan you are getting so big " said Ino. Mika looks at them with a look that makes the girls nervous for some reason.
" Bakas, " she said, making the girl twitch.
" Why you little brat? " said Sakura.
" Naru-nii-chan is mine and he isn't going to want you or you so better get over it " said Mika. The 4 year old gave them a glare that the girls found a little disturbing but cute. They were about to say something when they saw Mika's face change from annoyance to happy and they heard why.
" Mika-chan ,Sakura-chan, Ino-chan are you ready to go ? " asked Naruto. Ino and Sakura look at each other before grinning.
" Yes Naruto-kun " said Ino and Sakura at the same time before each of them grabbed one of his arms.
" Ok girl's. Mika you coming ? " said Naruto .
" Nii-chan can you carry me there please pretty please. " said Mika jumping up and down. while Naruto looked down at her Sakura and Ino were glaring at her. Mizuki comes in and sees Mika jumping up and down.
" I'll carry you Mika " said Mizuki
" Yea Mika-chan you should let your dad carry you " said Sakura
" Yea Mika-chan your dad hasn't seen you all day " said Ino. Mika glares at them before turning to her dad and smiles.
" Ok tousan, " Mika said before running to her dad.
" That was weird " said Sakura looking at Ino
" You don't think we have to worry do you ? " asked Ino
" No….I don't think so..right ..right " answered Sakura a little nervous.
" Yeah right…..no worries " said Ino, also looking a little nervous. Naruto walks behind them and puts his arms around their shoulders making them blush at the contact
" What you girls talking about ? " asked Naruto
" N...n.. Naruto-kun " said Sakura
" Yea just figuring out what we are going to eat once we get there. " said Ino
" Well...ok then let's go. You two can figure it out when we are there. My ramen awaits " said Naruto who by now is dragging the girls out of Mizuki's house .
AN: That's it for this chapter. A lot of shit happen last few years and I mean alot but the past is the past and Im back hopefully better this time. One thing that has not change is my writing skills. THEY STILL SUCK so sorry about that I didn't have time to fixed that. On the plus side I made a new story if you guys want to check it out. Still shitty writing but hopefully you like it. Hopefully I can try to post two more chapters after this one by the end of next week. Ima try be better. Also Asuma and Kakashi weren't really trying here cus if they did well you know (TOTAL OWNAGE) so that's why they were caught off guard.
