Chapter twenty-five

Knowing Gabriela Dawson, you'd definitely know she isn't the kind of person to stay in bed doing nothing. But for the last week, that is pretty much the only thing she had been doing. Not to mention that her husband was making sure of that. He had taken to heart to do everything and make sure that his wife with was having as much rest as possible which obviously wasn't a taste of the woman who would rather be doing things than just doing nothing all day long.

Even when Matt had to go back to work, he had brought Louie to his nanny not wanting his wife to have to take care for their child when she was trying to rest and heal up. But Gabriela did hate that, and she was grateful for her husband and how he treated her and wanted her to be a 100% but she also couldn't wait to get back to work next week.

However, Gabby's headache was still pretty much here and even though her bruises had started to fade it was still very much sensitive, so she was taking it easy just like she had been asked to.

When she woke up that morning Matthew had told her to stay in bed while he took care of their little boy, so she did as she was asked and even though she would have like to spend some time with her boys she also was grateful because her head was killing her.

At some point though she decided to leave the bed and get some clothes on, nothing fancy or anything just one of Matt's hoodie and some leggings just to feel comfortable but not stay in her pajamas all day.

She walked in the living room where she found Louie playing on the carpet with his monkey and his truck and other few toys while Matt was sitting on the couch doing the paperwork that was on the coffee table.

"Behind on paperwork?" she asked getting the attention of her two boys who shot her some genuine smiles.

"Hey!" Matt exclaimed. "Yeah, I haven't been able to finish all the paperwork I had at the firehouse so I thought I could bring it back and just finish it here" he explained making some room for his girl to sit next to him on the couch as Louie got back to playing not really focusing on his parents.

"How come? You're not really the late paperwork kind of guy!" Gabby replied running a hand over his shoulder, bringing the plaid on her laps.

"You cold?" Matt asked.

"No am good, just wanting to be comfy." She replied giving him a smile, waiting for him to answer to her previous question.

"I had a few things on my mind, so I was not the best and really efficient while doing paperwork last shift" Matthew explained, taking his pen to write a few things on his paper.

"What's on your mind? Something's wrong?" Gabby asked hoping he was okay. Matt was always so focused on her and she loved him for that but he also tend to only think about his loved ones and she wanted him to also think about himself and not always be so worried for his family. She wished he could take some time for himself as well.

"No nothing is wrong I just… I've been a little bit worried about you and not having you at the firehouse is not the same thing and it's definitely something that I don't like when you're not here. So, when you're not there I feel a bit lost…" Matt explained his eyes still focused on his papers, not able to notice his wife's smile.

"Baby you know that I'm okay, right?" Gabby whispered running a hand over his thigh.

"Of course, it's just that I hate knowing that you're hurting that I can't be with you at home. That all I want to do is being able to care for you but I'm supposed to be there working and helping people when the only thing I want to do is help you" Matt replied without no hesitation.

The couple had been working together for a long time, first as friends, and later on as lovers and now as husband and wife. And Matt would lie if he said he didn't like working with her because he did, probably more than anything. He was always so impressed to see how good at her job she was, how committed she was and how brilliant she could be.

He was proud to be her husband, but he was also proud to see her every single day do the best she could to help as much people as possible and that was how he fell in love with her at the time and that's exactly how he felt today as well. She was a very strong independent woman, very smart generous and she always fought for people even when they didn't deserve it.

To Matt, it was a quality, and he cherished a lot the fact that they were able to work together. He would never take it for granted anymore.

"You know in a few days I'm going back to work and I'm going back to living my crazy life you don't have to worry about me I feel fine and I can do things but if I don't I ask you" Gabby replied as Matt turned his head to look at his gorgeous wife.

"I just love you and want to take care of you" he whispered leaning down to kiss her lips.

Gabby smiled after Matt pulled back, running a hand at the nape of his hair. "The girls are coming over so we can talk about Stella's and Kelly's wedding. I'm sure you don't want to be there for that so how about you and the little monster over there go to Kelly's to watch the game" she suggested pointing at the little boy who was still playing and getting a sigh from Casey.

"That was your plan to get rid of us, right?" He said as Louie stood up walking to his parents.

"Yep" Gabby chuckled as Louie stood in front of them with a cheesy smile.

"Daddy, can we go see the game?" Louie asked innocently, as he had heard his mommy.

"Oh… I don't know buddy I'm not sure" Matt replied getting a pout from his son.

"Babe come on, I'll be fine with the girls, and you go have fun with Louie and Kelly" Gabby replied seeing Louie jump on his feet really hoping his daddy would give in.

"But baby it's my day off and then you'll be on your own again tomorrow, we could just enjoy some time just the three of us"

"You're a sweet man but you worry too much, and I think you need an afternoon off babysitting your poor wife don't you think?" Gabby said with a smirk getting an eyeroll from Casey.

"Alright that's fine, but I am coming home with dinner for you" Matt said standing off the couch and gathering his paperwork. "Louie, how about you go get ready, put a sweater and your shoes on, and we'll head to Kelly's." Matt continued as Louie ran to the bedroom excited.

Gabby stood up and walked to Matt who was next to the desk, putting his papers away back in his bag. "You know what I think?" She asked gently, running a hand in Matt's back as he turned around, pulling both his arms around her waist.

"No, I don't know but I am pretty sure you've got something on your mind you terrible woman." He said with a smirk as they leaned into each other laughing.

"How about tonight, we take a nice bath together, with strawberries for desert?" She suggested seductively, as Matt titled his head to the side, his mouth becoming dry by the second, not being able to voice any of his thoughts, but really, really excited about what their night would look like.

"That does sound pretty amazing" he whispered getting closer and capturing her lips with his but were quickly interrupted by Louie who came running back in the room.

"Mommy, daddy stop kissing. We have to go we are going to be late for the game daddy!" Louie exclaimed getting some chuckles from his parents.

"Okay Lou-man you're right" Matt said putting a quick kiss to Gabby's lips before going to get their jackets. "We'll see you later mama" Matt said to his wife as he helped Louie with his coat.

"Yeah mama, see you later!" Louie said running to the door.

"Louie, wait for me buddy!" Matt said as he walked after the little boy. "You call me if you need anything babe" He said turning his head towards Gabby who nodded before waving at her boys grateful that they would spend some time together.

"I cannot believe that you and Kelly are finally getting married it's crazy to think about it" Gabby said to Stella as the woman was looking through a wedding magazine.

"Yeah it's pretty amazing" Stella replied with a smile, looking at Brett and Dawson who both looked really happy for her. "I can't believe he popped the question to be honest" she continued.

"Well Kelly has changed, he is a different man because of you, he's been through a lot but he is happy because he has you in his life" Gabby said genuinely happy for her friends. "A few years back he was just sleeping around he was so lost and confused. He was a mess and I remember that Shay and I used to bother him. She would've loved to meet you she would've loved you" Gabby finished, her mind going to her best friend she missed every day.

"Do you really think so?" Stella asked touched by Dawson's word.

"Yeah I know so. She was always the number one Kelly fan and she was so proud, such a good friend for him and for me but all she wanted was for us to be happy even if she wasn't. She was always running for Casey and I… I guess my biggest regret is that she never got to see what life brought for us" Gabby continued letting the emotions out, missing her friend like crazy even more now that she was happy with Casey, that they had a son, and were growing a family together. Shay would have loved it, she would have been the best aunt ever.

"I wish I could have met her" Stella said getting a nod from Brett who probably felt the same way. "Kelly barely talks about her…" the woman firefighter explained with a sigh.

"It's always been hard for Kelly to talk about her. You know when they first met it was like falling in love at first sight except they were never in love, just friends. They were like brother and sister. And when Shay died, everybody started grieving it's own way, Kelly tried to run away from his pain. He keeps her in his mind, but I don't think he'll ever really talk much about her, it's just… Some part of his secret garden…" Gabriela replied, knowing that Kelly and herself were the two who had suffered the most of this loss, they didn't like to address it much though.

"Am sure she was terrific" Brett said breaking the silence after a moment.

Gabby looked at Brett, and just nodded, remembering when her friend had showed up at 51, to replace Shay. It was not easy, and someday, she wished she could still have her best friend. And even though life changed without Shay, and brought new people in her life she was grateful about, a part of Gabby always hoped that she'd wake up and everything would just be a nightmare. But then she also couldn't deny how happy she was.

"So… About that wedding! Do you know what you want to wear?" Brett exclaimed wanting to change the subject as it was not creating a happy mood around here.

Stella looked quickly at Gabby who gave her a smile as to say that it was okay to move on from the conversation. Stella was a bit bothered that Sylvie had changed the subject so quickly, but she was not going to mention it. She just felt bad for Gabby who looked a bit sad now. "I… hum… I've seen a few dresses, I can show you!" Kidd finally said taking her phone out of her pocket starting to scroll through her pictures.

"Oh it's so pretty! I love this one!" Brett said probably taking her role as maid of honor very seriously. "And what should we wear?" Brett asked then wanting to know if there would be any color theme or

"Well we don't want to make a color theme or anything, do you guys have some dresses?" Stella asked gently, not really wanting everybody to match, she was not the fancy kind of wedding.

"I am buying a new one, it's an occasion after all!" Brett replied with a smile, looking at the pictures so excited for the coming up wedding.

"What about you Gabby?" Stella asked as Gabby had been silent.

"Ah... I think I'll just take one I already have. I think we need to save a bit money, and I think Matt will buy a little suit for Louie" she said smiling at the thought of Louie wearing a suit just like his dad.

"You have money issues?" Brett asked suddenly a bit worried for her friends.

"No not really, but with all the trip I did to the hospital lately the bill is starting to grow and it's not like we are running on gold you know so..." Gabby trailed off

"How many are we talking about?" Stella asked worried as well.

"I am not completely sure, Matt doesn't really talk to me about it, he wants to deal with it on his own so I haven't really asked, I know that the CT-scan is probably around 300$ even more so I am not sure... But we'll be okay" Dawson said not wanting her friends to worry. She was not worried, she knew Matt would make sure they wouldn't be in the red, so she just let him deal with that.

"If you guys need money-" Stella tried but was quickly cut off by Gabby who really didn't want to ask for help.

"No no no, we are fine. I... Stella this is nice of you but you don't have to worry, and you have a wedding to get ready, so don't worry about that!" Gabby replied with a smile. But she knew this needed to be a talk she had to have with her husband but knew they'd be okay.

They were not in the red and obviously they would be fine but the healthcare situation in the US is not always easy and even though they have an insurance the bills can rise very quickly. She didn't want to have any money problems and she knew that Matt would do anything to make sure that they didn't get to that point. But knowing that they wanted to grow their family soon, they were very much aware that they couldn't have problems if they were bringing a child into the world. Because having a baby is not cheap and they also need to care for their other child. They just had to figure everything out!

"I can't believe that you and Kelly are having a white wedding!" Gabby said wanting to get back on the subject of the event.

"I can't believe that you and Casey didn't! I mean you two got married and it was amazing, it was like you but do you ever regret not having a beautiful ceremony?" Stella asked remembering the moment at the courthouse.

"Sometimes I wish it could have been the ceremony I had always dreamed of. But I was the one not really... I had my doubts about marriage and getting married, so when we finally did it, I just... it didn't really matter how it happened what mattered was that I was getting married to the man I loved, that I had the feeling that we'd spend our lives together and we were a family with Louie"

"Yeah you are right, I'm so excited for the future" Stella exclaimed excited to be getting married.

"You and Kelly want to have kids?" Brett asked.

"Yeah someday, not yet but I am sure we'll talk about it soon!

"Great, that's great! Having kids is great! And what about you Mrs. Casey, nothing yet?" Brett asked with a smirk getting a scoff from her friend.

"Nah, but that's okay, it will happen when it's time!" Gabby replied with a smile knowing her and Casey would have a baby, she needed to be positive about it!

"You're right. Would you prefer a girl or a boy?" the blond paramedic asked.

"I guess either way is fine, I think Louie would rather have a little brother, but I don't think Matt and I mind, all we want is to have a healthy baby…"

"Am sure Casey wants a boy, he is ready to create his own hockey team" Stella joked making the two other women laugh.

"We'll see when we come to it!" Gabby said as they got back to looking into some magazines for the perfect dress and decorations.

Casey and Severide were in the living room, sitting on the couch and waiting for the game to start. Louie was playing between them with his monkey.

The little boy had been bouncing around ever since they arrived at Kelly's place, so excited for the game.

Kelly had prepared some beers for Matt and himself and a little apple juice for the little boy, and now they were just waiting for the game to start.

"So you were able to finally leave Dawson home?" Severide asked with a grin knowing that Casey had needed a bit of convincing from his wife to actually get out of the apartment.

"It's my day off, I didn't want to leave her. She is recovering, and my job as a husband is to take care of her! Right Louie back me up!" Matt exclaimed as Louie nodded.

Kelly smirked, glad to see the little boy so happy, but also so happy to see the relationship Matt shared with his son. That made Kelly want to be a father one day and have his own family.

"You'll find out what it's like to be married soon enough!" Casey said pushing against his friend's shoulder as he was still smirking.

"Yeah, don't remind me" Kelly replied.

Matt looked at his friend surprised not to hear much excitement coming from him. "You okay?" Casey asked then noticing a bit of tension here.

"Yeah, no am good. It's just... I am a bit freaked out" Kelly replied looking back at his friend who gave him a nod.

"Hey, it's going to be okay, I mean you propose, that means you want to get married, right?" Matt asked.

"Of course, I do, it's just... Coming so quickly"

Matt nodded understanding that his friends were planning to get married in a few weeks and it was coming very quickly after their engagement. "What's the matter? You want to wait?" Matt asked after a few seconds.

"I mean... I don't really know... Look... You and Dawson got engaged and then you got married like two years later and..." Kelly trailed off. He was feeling that everything was coming so soon, he was worried because he didn't want it to be such a rush.

Matt cleared his throat and put his beer down on the coffee table. "Listen man, Gabby and I, we did things in an untraditional way. And if things could have been different, we could have been married sooner but anyways... You remember a few years back I was a bit stressed about my relationship and you told me that there is no such things as moving too fast. You just jump in and it either works on your side or it ain't… And you were right, look at how much time we lost being idiots! You and Stella are ready, I am sure" Matt said really wanting to reassure his friend, seeing that he was getting cold feet.

Kelly nodded "I can't believe I said that" he said with a chuckle.

"You did say that, I was there. And you're going to get married and it's going to be great take it from me I got to marry the woman I love and it's a great thing to do you don't have to worry! It's going to be great!" Matt said. Louie looked at the two men, as he was still very silent.

"My mommy said it is amazing to be getting in the marriage! It's for girls! It's a princess thing!" Louie exclaimed getting from the adults to laugh.

"Yeah but your mommy was not wearing a dress on her wedding day buddy!" Kelly replied running a hand over the little boy's head.

"Why not?" Louie asked disappointed.

"Louie, you remember that when mommy and I got married we were wearing our work clothes" Matt said gently, reminding his son of the day of the wedding.

"Yes it's true..."

"But you don't have to worry because at the wedding she's going to wear such a beautiful dress she's going to be the most beautiful in the room" Matt said to his son who gave him the biggest smile.

"After Stella of course" Kelly shot back getting a glare from the little boy.

"No my mommy is the most beautiful mommy in the world!" Louie shot back defending his mother.

Matt and Kelly shared a smile so happy and in awe at Louie's antics.

"I guess you are right buddy!" Matt replied giving a kiss to his forehead. "Oh look the game is going to start!" Matt said then as Louie looked at TV excited.

"Daddy look!" Louie yelled pointing at the tv as the players were skating on the ice.

"I see Louie!" Matt said looking at Kelly who smiled. "Sorry man he is excited"

"It's okay don't worry! I am glad he is having a great time!" Kelly replied before looking at the tv. He waited a few seconds before talking again. "Do you think you could help me find a tuxedo?"

"Of course man, I am your best man I am here for you, and to make sure you don't actually choose something ugly!" Matt said with a laugh.

"Funny Casey! I have good tastes!" Kelly replied defending himself.

"Yeah if you say so" Casey said with a smirk. "I have to find a suit for Louie as well" Matt continued remembering Gabby mentioning that Louie needed to wear something nice for the wedding.

"Am sure we'll find something for this little man, he might be the cutest thing in the room" Kelly said imagining Louie in a suit.

"Yeah I am sure. It's going to be an amazing day, it's going to be such a happy moment"

Kelly nodded, indeed he was a bit stressed about everything happening so fast but he loved Stella and he wanted to marry her and grow old with her. When he was around Dawson and Casey, he could witness such a pure love and amazing relationship, and he was so happy for them, and that's exactly what he wanted to share with Stella.

Kelly broke the silence they had fallen into "And the vows?"

"What about it?" Matt asked a bit confused.

"You'll help me?" Kelly said.

"You really are not a very romantic person. I thought I wasn't romantic but you're worse than me for sure..." Matt chuckled seeing the distress in his best friend's eyes.

"You are a romantic guy! You buy flowers to Dawson whenever you get a chance, you go on the apparatus floor when the ambo pulls up and wait for her! You organize date night for you two, you are romantic!" Kelly said desperate to show Casey that he is indeed a very romantic man.

"Kelly, it has nothing to do with being romantic, and everything to do with the fact that I deeply love my wife and want to do nice things for her. I like doing that for her because this is how I am with her, but if you're not like that, I am sure Stella loves you this way you know, and for your vows, I think you should just do something like you" Matt said as Louie turned his head to the two men asking for silence.

"Daddy you are too loud" Louie said squeezing his monkey against his little chest.

"Sorry buddy, but uncle Kelly needs a little bit of help" Matt explained as Kelly just nodded.

"Why?" Louie asked his eyes still on his daddy.

"Because he is in love" Matt said.

Louie made a face "Yukky" he said then turning his head back to the tv.

"Don't say that Louie, Kelly is going to freak out and run away" Matt said getting a weird look from Severide.

"I am not going to run away." He said trying to defend himself.

"Should I remind you that you almost got Mouch run away from his wedding?" Casey shot back remembering how Severide had been such an idiot with Mouch a few years back.

"I was joking around!"

"Yeah, whatever. I am your best man and I am going to make sure that you show up on that day you hear me!"

Kelly laughed but rolled his eyes, he knew that all his fears were just in his head that once he saw Stella in her beautiful wedding dress every fear will vanish. He knew that he had made the right choice and that Stella was the right one for him. You had just been so unlucky in love that sometimes it still worried him that maybe love wasn't meant for him but now he had Stella and she said yes to marrying him they were getting married and would be happy forever.

Matt walked inside the dark apartment with Louie asleep in his arms. Gently he took off both their jackets trying not to wake the little boy. As Matt was taking his shoes off Gabby appeared from the bedroom with a smile on her face.

"Hey, you're home" she whispered getting closer as Matt leaned down to kiss her lips as she caressed Louie's back.

"He was exhausted, he fell asleep at the end of the game" Matt whispered.

"Am glad he had a great time, I'll put him to bed" Gabby said gently.

"Don't worry babe I've got him just go get the strawberries and the bath running and I'll join you in a minute" Matt said getting a nod from his wife as he walked to Louie's bedroom.

The father made sure that his son was well asleep, settled and okay in his bed before heading out of his bedroom, ready to go and join his wife. On his way to the bedroom he made sure to turn off the light.

Walking in his bedroom he smiled when he saw Gabby sitting on the bed. "So how was your afternoon with the girls?" he asked sitting down next to her while taking his watch off.

"Pretty great we had some great talks and I think that Stella found the right dress so she's going to try it on, it's exciting! What about you, how was it with Louie?" she asked running a hand over his shoulder getting closer to her lover.

"It was great, he is such a good boy, and I think he really enjoyed the game! Also every time he watches a game the team wins, he must be a lucky charm" Matt replied with a smile, enjoying the proximity they shared right now.

"I am so glad you two enjoyed some boys time with Kelly" Gabby replied with a genuine smile.

"Oh talking about Kelly he's a bit freaked out about this wedding thing…" Matt said with a chuckle remembering how stressed out his friend was.

"What do you mean? Does he have any doubts?" Gabriela asked a bit worried, not wanting for their friends to cancel their wedding because of some stupid stress.

"I think that Kelly just realized that he's getting married soon and maybe a bit sooner than what he was expecting… but take it from me this wedding is going to happen because Kelly is deeply in love with Stella and she loves him as well and they're perfect for each other but you know it's always like that…" Matt said knowing that everybody gets a little bit worried before getting married. It's a big step, and it can be stressful even when you love the person you're marrying.

"Was is it like that for you?" She asked with raised eyebrows, wanting to find out how Casey felt the day they got married.

"No, because we didn't plan a wedding, we were not planning on getting married. I mean I've always wanted to but you were not really on board and then that happened and it was just a spur of the moment kind of thing and it was perfect for us so I wasn't freaked out, I was just excited to make you my wife and make sure that Louie was going to stay with us, with both his parents" Matt explained getting such a loving smile from his wife.

"I have to be the luckiest woman on earth" She said pulling Matt in a deep kiss. They shared a long kiss, enjoying just being together.

After a moment Matt pulled away needing to contain himself and take a breath. He smiled and gave Gabby another quick kiss. "Trust me, the lucky one is me" he whispered stilling a few more kisses.

"I love you" she said.

"I love you too baby" Matt replied with a smile. "Should we get in this bath?" he suggested. Gabby nodded and stood up, walking to the bathroom pulling Matt with her.

They quickly got in the warm bath, Gabby's back laying against Matt's chest. He was gently squeezing her, putting some gentle kisses to her shoulders and neck every so often. They were in a comfortable silence just wanting to let the tension from the last few weeks disappear.

Matt knew that the last events had been hard on Gabby, and of course she had been so brave, he was so proud of her, but he also felt bad because he felt like he wasn't as present for her as he should be.

"Am so sorry for everything that's been happening lately" he whispered breaking the silence, getting a sigh from Gabby.

"Babe, don't be sorry, you've been amazing to me, you're the best husband in the world, and you did everything that you could possibly do. What happened happen but it's not your fault sweetie, don't worry okay" she replied not wanting Matt to beat himself up.

"I am just glad that you'll be able to come back to work soon" he replied running a hand over her stomach.

"Me too"

"51 without you doesn't have the same flavor"

Gabby rolled her eyes and chuckled not expecting Casey to say something so cheesy. "Baby, what would you become if I actually left 51?" she asked with a chuckle.

"I'd go with you to your new firehouse, I don't care, we come and go together!" he said laughing, knowing it was not exactly possible but he liked to joke around about it, also he knew they would probably not leave 51 anytime soon.

"You're such a goof" Gabby said turning her head to look up at him who just chuckled. Gabby smiled but cleared her throat wanting to address something. "Do you mind me asking you something?" she asked a bit hesitantly.

"No of course, what is it sweet girl?" Matt asked going back to his serious self, seeing that Gabby was serious.

"I know that you said we are fine, but you'd tell me if we had some money problems right?" Gabby asked seeing the confusion on Matt's wet face.

Gabriela had addressed the problem a few days ago because she had been worried about the bills that they had to pay after the few times she ended up in the hospital, and Matt had promised her that she didn't have to worry about it that everything was under control and ever since it had not come up, but thinking about it this afternoon I actually created a little bit of a doubt for Gabriela so she'd rather address it with Casey instead of just worrying on her own and spinning out later.

"Baby we've talked about this" Matt trailed off not really wanting to talk about this as they were enjoying such a great moment together.

"I know and you said that we are fine but how fine are we?" she asked a bit desperate to have an honest answer from her husband. "Like… Are we fine to take a plane today and just takeoff to wherever we want or are we fine like we're going into debt?"

"Baby we're not going into debt so don't worry about that. We might not be able to travel if you're wondering but we're nowhere near money issues. And you know very well that if we ever have problems I won't let it happen I would take 100 more jobs and shifts to make sure that we're fine you know that right?" Matt asked with a smile caressing her perfect face wanting her to feel reassured.

"Of course I know… I'm sorry it's just we were talking with the girls and Brett brought up the fact that she's going to buy a new dress and asked me if I was and I don't think I can and I don't want to but I realized that maybe were not as okay as I thought we were" Gabby explained her eyes still focused on Matt's.

"Gabby, if you want to buy another and you dress you should we can afford it you don't have to be worried about money it's the last thing I want you to worry about. We have a lot on our plate but everything happens for a reason and if you want a new dress we're going to get you a new dress"

"Yeah I know" she whispered looking down at mats chest.

"It's not really about the new dress is it?" Matthew said putting a finger under her chin for her to look back up at him

"No not really" she replied shyly.

"Are you worried that it could change our desire for a baby to?" Matt asked. He knew that they want to grow their family was always something in the back of their minds and they couldn't just ignore it.

"Well you know how it is having a baby is not cheap and it can become very expensive really quick even more with another child"

"Slow down a sec. You're not pregnant and if you were it would be amazing and we would do it no matter what. So now I want you to stop thinking about this and focus on anything else you let me deal with that okay?"

Gabby nodded knowing he was right. She was always so worried about everything and definitely needed to calm down. And that's exactly what this night with Matt was about. She needed to relax and focus on them.

After a minute of silence Gabby we turned around to face Matt and planted a deep loving kiss on Matt's lips. They both needed each other and just needed to be close not caring about anything else right now.
