The night passed by very slowly, with Olivia to try and fall asleep. As Olivia tossed and turned, trying to fall asleep but somehow she couldn't. She was incredibly lucky to be privy to the beauitful view. With each hour that passed, sleep continued to evade her as the dawn crept ever closer.

But Olivia can't sleep because she is too excited and then the night seems to never end, the nightmare she'd been living for the past few weeks would be over, and the next chapter of her life could begin- just her, Ed and their boys.

The late spring sun covered Ed in a surprising and welcoming warmth as good as caramel over a harvest apple. His watch said it was near noon, yet how was that possible? He had lay down here at eight, after a night of tossing and turning, yet four hours had been slept away from his frugal attitude. With a long breath in, Ed could detect the tell-tale signs that his brain was still waking, there were the remnants of a dream, grasping to remain. Then, he remembered where he is supposed to be at this time and before he allows himself to fall asleep again, his feet were on the padded white carpet, and he's racing down the stairs cursing with his for being so stupid.

Today was supposed to be the day of their new life together- Olivia was being discharged finally and now he had fallen asleep. He'd been so excited and had been awake until the early hours dreaming up endless possibilities of what their life might be like, but here he was, running late before they'd even started. What must Olivia be thinking? He should have been to pick her up by now. They were going via Brian's so Olivia could collect hers and Noah's things. He was safe in prison so they were safe to come and go. Ed couldn't wait for this to be over. He and Olivia were just about to start. Finally.

'I'm so sorry….' Ed went rushing into the room full of apologies, when he was suddenly caught short by the sight of Olivia in the hospital bed. Rolled onto her side, Olivia's features were softer in her sleep, the worry lines that were usually etched across her face had been replaced by a look of complete peacefulness and serenity. Obviously deep in the land of dreams, Ed couldn't bring himself to wake her up from her slumber, instead placing himself in the chair next to the bed and wrapping his hand tightly into Olivia's, allowing her presence to seep into the subconscious.

Will they have a peaceful life or will Brian be back very soon.
