Alice Syfy Story
Alice and Lindsey
Chapter twenty-five: The Darkest Day
(Lindsey pov)
As we road behind Jack, Alice, and Chris, the shining light bounced off Charlie, making him very noticable.
"Charlie!"
"Ah! Great goats! Your going to have given me a heart attack."
"Your following them?"
"So are you two. I didn't-"
"We know. This isn't the hills, but I don't trust Jack. But I do want to keep Alice safe." I spoke up. Charlie saw the look in my eyes. I would do anything to get there. To get us both home.
"Alright. Lead on." Charlie said.
Hatter smiled as we moved on.
"What part about staying put for your own protection don't you understand?" Maybell spoke up as she caught up with all of us.
"Sorry. But I'm not letting this go." Hatter said.
"David. You can't be-"
"You can either follow us or leave us and head back the way you came. I don't honestly know why you bother to tell us to hide, when all you've done is just that." I spoke up cutting her off. "Your just a coward, and Dodo thinks Hatter is one for playing two sides. He's actually the smartest person ever to have met here in Wonderland. What good have you done?" I asked her. Looking back, he face was in tears.
I spoke the truth. I was done being the person I try not to be. I'm going to be opening my mouth this time.
We arrived at the hospital and we were too late.
Men in black walked around and stood in a line.
"Black Day." Charlie said. Chris and Jack came out first and they had another girl and Alice.
I guessed that might have been the other cursed child, Caterpillar's daughter.
"Okay. Are you happy now?" Maybell said.
"Okay?"
"There may be a lot of suits out there now, but if they get to the casino there's going to be a whole lot more of them. We have to act fast and now. Before that happens." Hatter said.
He was right. "What's the plan?" I asked.
"Do you-"
"I trust you with my life. No question." I said. After what happened the last time in the casino, hell yes.
Charlie and Hatter put together the plan. As we readied ourselves, Charlie and Hatter would charge in.
But...that wasn't what was going to happen.
"Hatter!" Alice yelled as he charged, I waited for Charlie to go in next, but he never came.
"Where did he go?" Maybell looked for him. I watched Hatter get pulled off his horse and couldn't stand it any longer.
I ran in there on my own and hoped I could fight them off.
One suit charged at me, "No! Lindsey!" Hatter yelled.
"Lindsey don't!" Chris and Alice also yelled.
But I didn't care. The ground shook and I took one step, and the suit, fell into a hole in the ground.
I was shocked. Had I really done that?
But I couldn't think, "Mark. Please. There is no need to harm us. Just do as your told. No fight." Maybell appeared. She was brave to do that, but why tell him they wouldn't fight?!
I didn't know what happened next as i was hit over the head blacked out.
When I woke up, I couldn't hear well, till I opened my eyes.
"...The greatest one of all. The Oyster." A younger girl looked inside a doom that Alice and I were in.
"Lindsey! Are you alright?" I heard Hatter's voice.
"Mark." Maybell's was next. I cleared my vision as I saw everyone around. Hatter and Maybell were on their knees with Jack and Chris standing behind them.
"I get Hatter. You get the girl."
"Of course Mad March. Your so called, "beloved" Mark, is gone, Flyer." Who was this young girl?
"If you don't know who I am, let me introduce myself. Alice, Lindsey, I am the princess of hearts, Alicia Heart." She laughed. "And i should have known that Chris, here, was a cursed child. Under you very nose mother dear." She said.
"Please. Don't go rubbing it in now."
"Sorry. But, my oh my!" She walked over and took Hatter's hat. "How...cute. No wonder he's the face of the tea shop I heard so much about. And how he got away with playing both sides...He's the looker."
I couldn't stand this. I stood up and walked up to the wall. Even if she couldn't hear me, she could see me.
When she did, "I think you have some ugly eyes staring at you my girl." The king spoke, and got her to turn. She saw the look in my eyes, and the color.
"Red! She has...oh. She's enraged!" She backed away from me but still looking right at me.
"I can't tell if it's at me or you mother. Or maybe it's the awful brother I have." She turned to Jack. "You had that face of, "I'm not so trusting" look about you. And she saw right through it." Alicia laughed.
A glass began shaking a little which had a few guests concerned.
"I think she's challenging you dear. Mind you give her a taste of what you're made of?" The queen spoke.
"I would..." She walked over to Hatter and had him stand. "But why ruin such a pretty face? besides, one word from me and he'd be useless. We'd never find that library." She said. "And we need it in order to finished this whole thing off!" She shouted.
"Your still as charging and hot headed as you were little." The other girl spoke up as she stood next to the door with Mad March.
"Nadia. You surprise me. As I've been looking everywhere for you, you are the only link, to the lost white princess. And yes mother, I knew about it and didn't want to tell you till I had her." Alicia said before her mother could.
"You'll pay for this!" I shouted. And a glass shattered.
"Oh. Sound. She's got a huge voice in that box of hers." Alicia got closer to me. "Let me tell you something, your power of sound, isn't going to be a match for my heart." She said. "I can make any man or woman fall in love with me and do whatever I ask of them till death. Maybell here, she flies. Chris here, manipulates dreams, and Nadia, she has this amazing power to find people. She knows every little thing about them. Why don't you give her a taste. Tell her...the truth about herself." Alicia said to Nadia.
While I hoped she'd refuse, she looked right at me. "Your parents pitied you. They didn't want you to live with a life with the queen, btu they didn't want to care for a stupid brat they knew was a great and powerful child. Which was why, they killed themselves."
I couldn't believe this. She was telling me the truth. "The rings you carry, are nothing more then fakes, your parents were never married, you were never part of a family. You were always alone, and never wanted."
She was finished as she turned away from me.
Alice was getting her father's attention as the ring was brought out to her.
"Enough. Take them away." The queen said as she enjoyed having her ring back.
Jack and Chris stayed in the room and Alicia stayed as well.
"Your paranoid!" The queen shouted.
She talked to the man who was Alice father as he was told to look.
"Why pick her?"
"Because she is his daughter!"
"Quiet ungrateful child!" THe queen snapped at Jack.
I looked at him myself as he said the words, "Why should it." As in, he didn't remember us at all. Not even Alice, who he watched be born in a hospital.
"Have you nothing to say before I pass judgment?" The queen asked.
"Send Alice and Lindsey home." He said.
That was brave. "You have what you want, the resistance is no more with their leader dead. You've won, they can't hurt you from the other world." Chris spoke up.
"Ana. You find it funny, but the only thing is, and my mother also knows, she doesn't care about the cursed children. I do. So, sorry, Lindsey, will NEVER be going home again." Alicia shouted.
I held Alice hand scared this really was it for us. I would have to watch her die.
"But, mother, father may have a point." Alicia said. "We can't risk Carpenter awakening."
"Now you too?! What is becoming of this?!" The queen asked.
I fell to my knees. "We're...never going to see each other again."
"We will, we'll find some way." Alice said.
"No! If you live through this, get home, forget all about me. This is my home, I may not know what lies ahead, but Alice, as long as your safe, I can live with my life. Please. Go home, and forget about all of this. Forget me." I told her.
Everything was set. Alice was to be banished from Wonderland and sent home.
Jack, however, was to be excited.
Chris or Ana and I were taken away. "You will always be my sister Alice!" I yelled before that would be the last time I ever saw her.
This was it. My life was over.
