Nicole had just gotten home and found Robby standing in her room.
"Robby!" She said excitedly, running to him and throwing her arms around him.
"Hey."
"You came back." She said said happily. She kissed him. "I knew you'd come back."
"I couldn't stay away." "I couldn't leave you." "I love you."
"I love you too." "We'll figure this out, I promise."
She woke up. It was all a dream. It seemed so real to her. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she realized it was just a dream. It had been two weeks since Robby left. Daniel had been looking for him but had no luck. It was the first day of classes since the school fight. Nicole had heard that Kate had transferred to another school, in another district and that Tory was expelled. That was a small plus. Nicole got ready for the day.
When Nicole got to school she was surprised to see security guards and metal detectors. She was very confused as to how that would stop another fight. During lunch Nicole was looking for Sam but couldn't find her. As she was eating she got a text from Sam, saying that she just couldn't stay at school and asked Nicole to come over after.
After school Nicole went to Sam's and up to her room. Sam was sitting on her bed. Nicole sat down to her.
"What happened?" Nicole asked. "Are you ok?"
"I just couldn't do it." "I got to school and just had an anxiety attack about everything."
"I don't blame you, it was very dramatic for all of us."
"How are you?" "Are you still having those dreams about Robby?"
"Yeah." "I had one last night." "They always seem so real." "I have to tell you something about Robby and I." "I've been wanting to tell you but things have been so crazy." "I told you Robby came to see me."
"Yeah."
"What I didn't tell you is, we had sex."
"You had sex?" She said surprised.
"Yeah."
"Wow."
"Yeah."
"What was it like?" "Were you scared?"
"I was nervous but I wanted it to happen." "It was special." "It's hard to explain." "It hurt but it was also really good." "I don't think I told you that he told me he loved me."
"You didn't."
"That's one of the reasons why this hurts so much." "I love him and I'll probably never see him again."
Sam got a text. "Oh my god, Miguel's awake."
"That's so great."
The next afternoon after school Nicole got a text from Daniel asking her to come over. So she did.
"I have good news Nicole." Daniel said. "I found Robby."
"You did?" She said happily. "Is he in his room?"
"He's in juvenile hall." "I found him at rehab visiting his mom." "The lawyer I spoke to said his sentence would be lighter if he turned himself in."
"You called the cops on him?" She said in disbelief.
"I had to."
"No you didn't."
"I only wanted to help him."
"By putting him in jail?!" She yelled. "He trusted you." "So did I." She left.
