[Where we left off]
Naruto made it home and could already tell some exciting things were going on inside. With a smile and a deep sigh, he opened the door and went in just in time to see Yahiko and the returning Kazuma having an arm wrestling match with each other. Konan was cheering on Yahiko while Ayako cheered Kazuma. Nagato just sat there and observed while shaking his head, a small smile on his face. The blond walked inside and shut the door quietly enough as to not disturb the occupants just yet. The boy made his way over towards the group just as Kazuma was close to winning the little test of strength, at least until Naruto got a pretty interesting idea. Using a bit of wind manipulation, Naruto made a small tornado under the Biju turned man's chair, rocking it a bit just enough to distract him.
"What the hell?"
Kazuma nearly yelled out as he looked away from what was important at the time.
Yahiko, seeing his chance, used all of his strength to force Kazuma's arm down onto the table, thus winning their competition.
"Oh yeah!"
He started as he stood from his chair in victory.
"That's right! I'm the strongest around!"
Kazuma, giving Naruto a bit of a glare while the blond simply turned his head and began to whistle a tune, stood up in frustration.
"That doesn't count! Someone decided to distract me!"
"Doesn't matter how we get to the finish line as long we cross it first, Kazuma-san!"
Yahiko gloated while massaging his arm.
There was a bit of laughter all along the room as Kazuma pouted for a moment. It was Ayako who stopped everyone as she spoke up.
"Okay guys. As funny as that was, there's a few things we need to discuss."
Catching his breath, Naruto spoke up as he took a seat next to Konan.
"Yeah, like what brings you guys here to Konoha?"
"Well unfortunately you right about someone claiming to be Madara Uchiha coming for us."
Nagato started as with a sigh.
"He tried to use his sharingan to control me like you said he would Ayako-san."
"I take it that seal Naruto made for you worked like a charm?"
The smirk on Ayako's face was ever present at that moment.
"It most definitely was."
Konan answered, happy that her friend was still himself and not some soulless drone for a mad man.
"Good."
Ayako started.
"Then that means we can move forward now that you three are here. And with our other allies Naruto gathered for us agreeing to help in the battle to come, we really just have a few bumps in the road to deal with now."
"Bumps?"
Yahiko asked, raising a brow.
"What kind of bumps?"
Ayako sighed as she really was not looking forward to this.
"Apparently the civilian council and the even the shinobi council are planning a 'party' in a few weeks, and invited myself and Naruto-kun to it."
"I get the feeling that this isn't just to be nice huh?"
Naruto asked sarcastically as he could already tell some BS was gonna go down at this 'party'.
"And a point for you Naruto-kun."
She continued with a smile towards the blond before continuing towards the rest of the room.
"Onyx and Ruby have informed me that they're planning to kidnap me and have me sent underground to a man named Danzo."
The three guest immediately perked up at that name and it didn't go unnoticed.
"I assume you three know who he is?"
Ayako asked, already sure of the answer.
"That bastard was the one who sicked Hanzo onto us."
Yahiko spoke with venom in his tone.
Naruto looked around to the three and noticed the same anger and hatred in their eyes.
"Then we make sure that this Danzo guy doesn't succeed in his plan."
Everyone looked to Naruto and saw a look of finality in his eyes. The look of a leader as he continued.
"If that's their plan to ensure that I'm turned into their weapon, then I say we give them a party they won't forget."
"Now this I've gotta hear."
Kazuma spoke with a grin as he leaned in closer, excited for the blonds plan.
Short and sweet. Been too busy lately to write more, Lol.
Next chapter will be that party.
