In Mistaké's tea shop, Lloyd opened his eyes, and sat up, gasping. "Father!" He yelled.
Mistaké soon came out from the back. "It actually worked!" She said, remarking the tea's effects. "Eh, that's a first." Nya and Gewuji soon came out.
"Lloyd, what is it?" Gewuji asked her boyfriend, coming up next to him in concern.
"I had a dream of-of a giant, and my father..." Lloyd replied. "He's looking for Dragon."
"That is no dream." Mistaké said. "That is a vision."
"Do you still have your power?" Nya asked him.
Lloyd tries to conjure some Energy, but nothing comes. "I don't understand." He replied. "I-I can't- Why can't I-?"
"You're alive, hon." Gewuji said, moving a hand across his cheek. "That's all you need to know."
"You need to get to the child before it's too late." Mistaké said to Lloyd.
"But, without my power, I'm... I'm not the Green Ninja." He replied with sadness.
"Don't say that." Nya said.
"My father's still out there. I can't- I can't defeat him."
"We need to fight on." The shop soon shook from another footstep from the golem, and the lanterns and ornaments shook.
"Do you have any strength left?" Gewuji asked. Lloyd groaned as he slowly made his way off the counter, and nods.
Outside, Nya and Gewuji help Lloyd out as the rain came down on them. "Wait!" Mistaké called out, and they turn to see her come up to them with a small green bag. "Here, take this with you." She hands Lloyd the bag, whispers something into his ear, and backs away. "You may not have power, but that was never what made you powerful. It was knowing what to do, and when to do it."
"We need to hurry. They're not far."
"Go, Ninja, go." Nya and Gewuji resume helping Lloyd as they move down the street. "The end is not the end, but only a new beginning!"
Out in the streets, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Geoff, Maggie, Blake and P.I.X.A.L. regroup in an alleyway, hiding from the golem. "We're no match for it." Zane said.
"Of all the big this we've fought, this is the biggest!" Jay replied.
"We need the Bounty!" Cole said.
P.I.X.A.L. soon knelt down to them. "Go, I'll keep it busy!" She replied.
"I'll distract it too." Blake said.
"Not alone, you won't." Maggie replied before turning to Geoff, who nods and turns to Kai, Jay, Zane and Cole.
"Go." He said before he, Maggie, Blake and P.I.X.A.L. come out of the alleyway as P.I.X.A.L. flies up to the golem, and fired a rocket, knocking it down as the other four Ninja immediately take off. Blake holds out his hands to use the wind from the air to try and slow it down if it got up, but it barely works before Geoff holds his hands out toward the golem and fires some Sand to try and blind it, but it barely fazes it.
On the rooftop, as they watch the battle, Oni turns to the side. "What is it?" Harumi asked.
"My brother." He replied. "He's near." He starts to walk away before Harumi got out a radio.
"Scars, send a team to assist us. We're going after the kid." There was no response. "SCARS!"
"Sorry." He replied through the radio. "I was just having a rollie." She growled at her general's newfound laziness, unaware that he was lying.
In Dareth's apartment, Dragon, Misako, Tania and Cirrus look out the circular window as it was still raining before Dragon turned to them. "My brother is coming." He said.
"How do you know?" Misako asked.
"I know." He simply stated.
"Come on." Cirrus said, picking him up. "We have to go." They immediately head for the door.
In the hallway, they exit the apartment, and turn left, only to stop to see Oni coming up to them. The sight of his brother made Dragon scream and bury his face in Cirrus' arms. "What has happened to you?" Misako asked. Oni just holds up a hand, conjuring some Destruction. He soon fired the shot, but Nya and Gewuji suddenly come up behind them, and force them down as the shot hits the wall behind them. As the three women look at them, Lloyd soon showed up behind them.
"Lloyd!" Dragon said, happy to see his nephew.
"Take Cirrus and get them out of here!" Gewuji said to her boyfriend.
"No, I'm not running." Cirrus replied, handing Dragon to Lloyd. "We can hold him back."
"But, Cirrus, are you sure?" Lloyd asked.
"I know I said I would keep the baby, but I don't care if I lose it fighting this monster." Lloyd nods, and takes off.
"You sure you're up for this?" Nya asked Misako.
"I was married to him once." Misako replied. "I'm up for anything." They immediately charge at him. Misako prepared to punch her husband, but he blocks it, and punches her back while Nya and Gewuji cartwheel behind him, but he quickly turned to punch Nya into a wall while grabbing Gewuji, and threw her at her mother, knocking them both down.
"Sorry, mom." She said, getting up.
"I'm alright." Tania replied, also getting up before they charge at Oni as he pushed Cirrus down onto her stomach, and Misako kicks him back. He soon prepared to punch her, but she ducks down, making him hit the wall behind her, gets up, and moves around behind him along with Cirrus. He turns to see Gewuji about to strike, but he backs away while raising a leg to kick Nya back, frees his hand, and uses his other leg to kick Gewuji down. Oni soon faced his wife and Cirrus before charging at them. He tries to strike, but they each block an arm before Cirrus moved back to avoid his right arms, but spun, and kicks her, knocking her down.
"That does it!" Gewuji yelled, somersaulting, and kicks Oni forward onto the ground before coming up to Cirrus. "You're getting out of here, whether you like it, or not. You're pregnant, and it's making you weak."
"You're right." She replied as Tania was soon knocked over to them after Oni had gotten up, using his legs to get up forward, kicking her into the air, and having her land near them.
"Go!" Nya yelled as she tried to strike Oni, but he holds her back. Gewuji, Tania and Cirrus immediately ran down the hallway to get out of the building. Nya soon jabbed Oni with the back of her spear before trying to strike him, but he grabs hold of the spear, forces her around and making her let go of her spear before he looks at it, and moving it toward her. She thinks that she was about to get stabbed, but Oni had instead stabbed the wall to trap her right arm through the blades.
Misako jumps back up as Oni punches her back, making her spin, and she straightens up to grab his upper right wrist before they glare at each other until Oni smirked at her. He then moved his arm down, dragging Misako with it before punching her, making her let go and is forced back before she raised an arm to block his next attack, moves it aside, and raised her other arm to punch him before raising a leg to try and kick him, but Oni manages to grab hold of it. They briefly look at each other before Oni raises the leg high, sending her flying back, causing her to spin back, and land on her stomach. Oni soon laughed as he approaches his wife while Nya managed to get free of her own spear blade before throwing it at him like a javelin, but he quickly moved to the side to avoid it as it soon landed further down the hallway, making him turn to her. Nya soon started to bounce off wall to wall as she approached Oni before twirling around him, and rolls forward until she gets up, and immediately charged at him. Oni tries to punch her, but Nya slides underneath him, and turns back. "Misako, get down!" She yelled before holding her hand out to a series of pipes. Misako sees one of the pipes jiggling before it came loose, spraying Oni with water, sending him crashing into a wall behind him before Misako ran over to Nya.
Outside, it had stopped raining as Lloyd comes out to the fire escape while holding Dragon's arm. "This way." He told him before heading over to the ladder. He was about to go down it, only to see Scars, but Lloyd quickly grabbed Dragon, turned, and took the ladder, leading up to the rooftop.
The moment he got onto the rooftop, he stopped to see the golem, and gasped before he saw Harumi and a dozen Sons of Garmadon members in front of him, brandishing guns. "Running won't do you no good." Harumi said before aiming her gun at Lloyd. "Give us the child."
Lloyd soon turned left and started to run with Dragon in his arms as Harumi and the members start chasing after him. Lloyd saw a small gap between rooftops, and immediately jumped over it, safely landing on the other one as Harumi and the members did the same. One member had tumbled, but quickly got up. Lloyd kept running as he came across a zigzag row of arched roofs, and started running along, being careful not to fall as Harumi and the members kept pursuing him. The members were struggling to run up and down while Harumi did it with ease. Lloyd soon made a left turn as soon as Harumi and the members caught up, and Harumi pulled out her big pistol, firing it at Lloyd and Dragon, but only hits the chimneys around them. Lloyd soon came across an even bigger gap between rooftops as they were across each other from a road. Luckily, the building he was on was taller than the other one. "Hold on, uncle." He soon ran for the edge.
He had to time the jump and not harm his toddler uncle at the same time. The moment he got to the edge, he jumped with whatever strength he had left, looking aside to see the golem was nearly close before managing to get to the edge of the other rooftop, quickly dropping Dragon on it as he grabbed hold of the edge. "Lloyd." Dragon said as he held out his small hand.
Lloyd quickly took it, and ran up the wall to get on the roof. As soon as he did, he picked up Dragon and kept running as Harumi and the members came at the edge of the other rooftop. Harumi quickly puts on the Mask of Hatred, turning white before jumping with inhuman strength to the other rooftop. "That's impossible." One of the members said as they saw their leader landing on the other rooftop with a small crater left behind, unable to catch up.
Harumi stood up, taking off the mask, unloads the empty clip from her gun before reloading it and pulling back the slide as she looks for her hated enemy. "Is this what you want?" Lloyd said aloud from the chimney he was hiding behind as Harumi started walking over to it. "To destroy the city, create more victims? Just think how many others will be made like you. This isn't what you want."
"Oh, no." She soon came from behind the corner, and aims her gun at him. "This is just the beginning." She puts the gun behind her back, and gets out the Mask of Hatred again. Lloyd immediately started to run again, jumping down to a balcony before continuing to run as Harumi soon puts the mask on, and laughs before jumping over to the balcony. Lloyd comes across a ladder before climbing up it, immediately getting onto the arched rooftop as the tram passes by, and starts running along it before he soon started moving up a flagpole, reaching the roof atop of it. He runs along it, briefly looking back before coming up to a wall, and climbs it onto a balcony, vaulting over the railing as he did so before he resumes running until Harumi lands in front of him. He holds out his hand to try and use his power, but realises he forgot that he doesn't have it. "Where are your powers, Lloyd, as your city falls?"
Lloyd started to back away before turning left, and resumes running, coming across a satellite support beam before Dragon soon buried his face in Lloyd's arms as he turned to see Harumi approaching him. "Hold on." He jumps onto the support beam, and starts to slowly walk up it before he chooses to take a big risk, and runs up it as Harumi comes up behind him until her reach the top of a balcony, heading over to the railing, and looks down it to see that they were really high up.
"The Sons of Garmadon could always use one more." Harumi's voice causes him to turn around to face her. "Join us."
Grunting was soon heard as Harumi looked to see Gewuji charging from behind her, and tries to kick her, but Harumi easily grabs her foot, and throws her over to Lloyd, but she uses her feet and a hand to slow down her drag. Gewuji looks at Lloyd, who was looking down the railing. "Yeah, that never works." He sarcastically told Harumi before grabbing Gewuji's arm, and jumps over the railing.
She comes up to it, and sees the three of them atop of the tram before Lloyd and Gewuji flip the bird at her. "Bye, bye." Gewuji sarcastically said, causing Harumi to growl, and move away from the railing.
Aboard the tram, Lloyd turns to Gewuji, who was looking at the golem. "How could you be so stupid?!"
"What do you mean?"
"You're not supposed to be here at the moment."
"I saw you from the ground. I had mom stay with Cirrus, and thought you may have needed help."
"But do you realise that you've put yourself in danger too?"
"Danger? You don't have power, and you need someone to help you. Not just to help you out, but to help protect our master."
"I can do it on my own."
"Lloyd." Dragon called out, trying to calm him down.
"Well, excuse me for trying to help you out." Gewuji sarcastically said. "You almost never give credit where it's due! I think maybe reconciling was a bad idea after all."
"Gewuji. Mother."
"Me, never give credit?" Lloyd asked. "Of course I do, and I still love you, but that action that you did was stupid, and it-"
"SILENCE!" Dragon screamed, causing them to stop and look at him glaring at Lloyd. "Apologise. Now!"
Lloyd soon frowned, and turned back to Gewuji. "I'm sorry."
"Hey, it's okay." She said. "Guess we both overreact at one point or another." Lloyd smiles at her before he gets out his communicator.
"Gewuji and I have Wu. Can any of you hear me?" There is no response.
"Where is everyone?" Gewuji asked into her communicator, but gets no response as well.
On the streets, Seymour, Ultra Violet, Scars and Killow ride on their motorbikes, following the tram.
Back on the tram, Lloyd and Gewuji look at each other, in concern. "We hear you loud and clear!" Kai replied as the Destiny's Bounty appears beside the tram. They both look to see him, Jay and Cole by the starboard side railing, and Zane at the helm.
Dragon laughed at seeing his students, and Lloyd and Gewuji smile at him. "Jump!" Cole called out.
Lloyd hands Dragon to Gewuji. "You first." He said.
"Right." She replied as she faces the Bounty, but looks at the ground. "It's too far!"
Jay turns to Zane. "Get us closer!" He ordered.
Zane turns the helm to starboard a little as some bikers were still after them. "She's as close as I can get her!" He replied before the hull struck the highway. Close by, Harumi runs across a billboard before jumping onto a rooftop.
"Careful!" Kai said.
"Are you actually doubting my ability to closely approximate the true value of our surroundings? I'm a Nindroid."
Harumi soon jumps off a nearby rooftop, and onto the tram before facing Gewuji. "Give me the child, you bitch." She said. "The Emperor wants his brother." Harumi started to come at Gewuji, who backs away.
"Gewuji, jump!" Kai yelled. "You can make it!"
Lloyd looks up at them before turning to his girlfriend. "Go, now!" He yelled. Gewuji immediately ran for the Bounty, and prepared to jump, but Harumi prepared to grab her, only for Lloyd to stop her by grabbing hold of her, and forced her back as Gewuji immediately jumped off. "Catch her!" Harumi then forced Lloyd back, and palms him, knocking him down.
"Hurry!" Gewuji yelled as she started to feel gravity take effect, and was almost falling. Cole immediately jumped off before Jay grabs hold of his legs, and catches Gewuji by her left hand, while she held Dragon in her right arm before Jay moved his arms back, bringing them onto the Bounty, making Zane sigh out of relief before gasping as the Bounty was close to a billboard, and turned the helm left, managing to avoid it.
"We have to go back."
"I'll circle around." Zane said, turning the helm. The Bounty then turns around a building.
On the tram, Harumi comes up to Lloyd as he was getting up. "You shouldn't have done that." She said. Lloyd soon got up, and grapple each other, turning around until he manages to move an arm behind her back before grabbing hold of her gun, and pulled it out. She soon forced him back, and turned around to see him about to fire her own gun at her, but she slaps it out of his hand, letting it fall down to the street below, and tries to punch him, but he ducks down, and he gets back up to see her about to grab him, but he raises an arm to block it.
As the Bounty follows the tram, the golem's arm suddenly grabs it before soon grabbing the bowel section, and looked at it. The sight of it made them nervous before Zane moves the lever upward, hoping to reverse the Bounty, but it was unable to due to being in its grip, and prepared to squeeze it.
On the tram, Lloyd, who was held by his neck, saw the Bounty in the golem's hands. "No!" He yelled before he starts to feel being choked.
"This is the end, Lloyd." She soon grabbed hold of the back of his gi, and forces him to look at the golem. "Watch to see how you lose it all."
The golem starts to crush the Bounty as Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, who held Dragon, and Gewuji scream from the shaking the squishing was causing. "Hands off, you big oaf!" Jay yelled. "We just had her repaired!"
"What do we do?" Kai asked.
"I don't know!" Cole replied.
Zane tried to do something. "I can't break free from its hold!" He said.
"We're all gonna die!" Gewuji yelled as they feel the Bounty coming close to being squashed as the masts start coming down, and one of the thrusters comes off.
Dragon soon turned to Cole. "We have to go!" He yelled.
"What do you think we're trying to do?" Cole asked him.
"We have to go!"
This got Jay thinking. "To go." He said to himself before remembering Mistaké's advice. "'For your time of need, tea to go.'" He soon gasped and got out the tea bag. "I think this is why she gave us this!"
"Well, what are you waiting for?" Gewuji asked. "A ticket to the Departed Realm?" Jay soon opened the bag, and stars start coming out, immediately surrounding them, amazing them before blue dust starts surrounding them as well.
"Go!" Dragon yelled.
"Go where?" Cole asked.
"I feel funny." Jay said.
"What's happening?" Kai asked.
"I hope Mistaké didn't lie!" Gewuji replied before they all soon disappear.
On the tram, the golem has finally crushed the Bounty, and Lloyd was shocked. "NO!" He yelled as he helplessly held out a hand before looking down.
"This... This is what I wanted." Harumi said, moving Lloyd back. "To see your father's return, and for you to lose everything." She soon drops him back onto the tram. "How does it feel to see the end?"
Lloyd sheds some tears, grieving from the events that lead to his friends, uncle and girlfriend being killed before immediately crossing his eyebrows. "No." He wipes his tears away. "I won't let it do to me what it did to you. This isn't the end, Harumi." He soon stood up. "This is just the beginning. Without my power, without my friends, I'm gonna fight you. I'm gonna fight on. Because a Ninja never quits."
"Well, then." She soon got out a knife. "Goodbye, Lloyd."
"Before I go, just answer me this: You said the greatest villain was the one who got away. Then what am I?" She tries to strike him, but he ducks down to avoid it before tilting back, off the tram, and free falls from the height while flipping the birds at Harumi before getting out the bag. The bag turned out to be a parachute as he deploys it, showing a symbol before coming across the canal where a boat came up to him and he lands in it. On the boat was Nya, Geoff, Maggie, Blake, Misako, P.I.X.A.L., Tania and Cirrus. Misako soon placed her hands on her son as he frowns.
Back on the tram, Harumi takes off the mask to see them head for a tunnel.
By the damaged building, Oni smirked as he looked down at the city. "Ninjago is mine." He said.
In what appeared to be a desert, Cole, whose left side of his gi was ripped and exposing his shoulder, laid on the ground, facedown, and groaned before Dragon came up to him and prods him with a stick. He looked up to see the little one was lightly giggling at his achievement. More groaning was soon heard as Cole and Dragon turn to see Kai, Jay, Zane and Gewuji, all on the ground with Zane on top of Jay and Gewuji lying on Kai's legs. Cole gets up to look around and finds out they're near a beach while the others got up as well with Kai helping Gewuji onto her feet. Kai was missing one part of his gi as well as his entire left sleeve, Jay had minor tears, Zane's right sleeve had a minor tear and a dirt spot by the left side of his gi and Gewuji's hair was half undone with a few tears on her gi as well, her right sleeve almost being completely torn off. "Traveler's Tea." Zane said, in his Titanium voice for some reason as Cole came up to them.
"Looks like we're no longer in Ninjago." He said.
Jay and Zane then look to the side to see a part of the Destiny's Bounty was brought along with them, mainly, the bridge and the entrance to the lower deck. "Then, where are we?" Jay asked.
Something soon flies over them and they all look up to see, to their surprise, dragons. "Back where it all began." Gewuji replied, noting where they are.
"The Realm of Oni and Dragons." Kai said.

(A/N: Well, that is the end of Return of the Lord with Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon stuck in the First Realm. I apologise to those unhappy with the result, but truth be told, I almost never had Lloyd and Gewuji reconcile, which is why I chose her because I had plans for the others, the consequences and wanting to even out the number of Ninja stuck in a realm each. But, I will put up some alternate endings. When I do the sequel in a few months time, it will actually be two sequels that happen around the same time with one joining the other once it ends. So, to help with anyone who has theories, here are a few pointers.
Marooned Ninja group:
* One Ninja evades capture
* A song with the word 'Whip' is referenced, and an anagram of an OC's name
* One Ninja gets whipped (literally)
* One OC Dragon Hunter is killed
