Disclaimer: I do not own Sofia the First, but I do own Evelyn, who is supposed be Sofia younger twin sister. I also do not own the song that is in this chapter.

Again, just letting you all know that some of the characters from the show may be acting a bit differently than what they should, but they are going to be like this for the story, so please just go along with the idea.

I am open to any suggestions and criticism on my writing. Please don't hesitate to point out any mistakes!

Chapter 12: The Final Battle

The first thing that came to my mind was the darkness. I couldn't escape it. No matter what I was capable of. I cried out for help, I cried out for my magic, but nothing. I couldn't hear anyone besides my own ragged breath. I curled up into a ball and waited for someone to help me.

"You are pathetic!" a voice behind me stated. I didn't argue. They were right, there was nothing that I could do. I felt someone grip my dress from behind to make me stand. I turned to look at a man who looked oddly like my father. I pushed him away. "You are not going to ruin this for me, Evelyn." The voice said. The man wasn't talking, but rather the voice came from my head.

"You are weak!" another voice said, I turned to look at an elderly woman. It was my grandmother and then soon, my aunt, my cousin, and everyone who every hurt me in the past, which wasn't a long list of people. Galacia, and and a few of their follow.

"Enough!" I could hear a soft voice say. I turned to look at a young girl. She was wearing tattered dresses and was bruised. It was Sofia. She was covered in a light that I couldn't describe. I smiled as I ran over to her. Hugging her closely to me. I was small again, it was the time before everything happened. She led me out of the darkness and I was safe again. I opened my eyes and I could see Sofia, sitting down on the ground with my head in her lap. She was brushing away the hair from my face.

Sofia patted my head as the I looked at her. She bright eyes was the first think that I could remember seeing. I smiled softly as she stopped patting my hair. Sofia, my big sister, always there to protect me, in the that horrorible vision. I lifted my hand up and placed it on her cheek. Her eyes unfocused, a haunting lullaby could be heard through out the ritual chamber.

"Sofia?" I asked. She soon turned to dust. I looked at King Artemis and Queen Lorelei, they turned to stone. What was going on? I thought as I looked around the chamber. I looked at Mom who looked like she was disguisted by me. I looked down at my hands and realized the curse happened. I killed my own sister. I turned the court into stone. I heard a laughter behind me. I turned to look, tears in my eyes as the only thing that was left of my sister what her amulet. I picked it up and held it close to me.

"Oh, Evelyn, did you honestly think that you were going to win?" the monster asked. "I did this, and there is nothing you can do to stop this!" the voice turned demonic as he came closer and closer to me. I looked up at the monster as he came towards me.

"You did this," I glared at the man. "And you will pay for everything!" I gripped both amulets, I closed my eyes and I tried to remember the spell that would help me stop him. "Time, night sky, darkness pass, allow my spell to do this once. Rewind time and make this right!" I growled as I casted a spell. Everything was thrown back into time.

I could remember everything as I laid in the flowery meadow not too from the monster who took everything from me. I knew that something was wrong, but I couldn't quiet place it. But then I when I woke up and looked around me, time was it rewind too far back. It was a few months before that monster took the Royal Family of Enchancia. I was locked up in the cell, not bounded to the walls because I didn't try to escape until a few day later. But I knew that I could make it a promise to do something different this time. I will not run away, but simply wait until my family came here. Well, I am hoping so.

A few months passed since I had rewinded time, today will be the day that I will be reunited with the Royal Family of Enchancia. I could hear them coming into the cells, and the door slammed behind them. All of them were safe and sound. I was happy to see them, but I was scared if they didn't like me this time around. I took a few steps forward, towards their cells. Amber was the first to notice me. Something flashed across her eyes, then recognition set in.

"Evelyn?" the voice was below a whisper. I nodded my head. The spell didn't do much, but at least I wasn't the only one who remembered.

"Amber who are you--" the voice stopped as I enter the light, with my hood down.

"Mom, Sofia," I said, tears running down my face.

"Evelyn?" Mom asked, she wanted to come closer, but I think that she remember what happened last. Sofia ran over to me, trying to hug me.

"Sofia, don't, she--"

"Shh--It wasn't me, that monster did. He wouldn't want me to have enough magic to stop him, so I rewound time... I am glad that you all remembered me, but there is no time. I had been here for a few months," I whispered. The door slammed open and the monster revealed himself to us.

"Evelyn," the voice said. I looked at him.

"Monster," I growled. He smirked. "Mom, remove the Crystal of Alicoria, please." I said. "I can defeat him. Stop that future from ever happening. Please!"

"I--I—I," Mom couldn't look at me. Sofia took the necklace off of me. I could feel the rush of magic.

"Sofia!" King Roland yelled.

"I am sorry, but Evelyn needs her happy ending. There was a spell that went towards her, in that room, you couldn't see it, but my amulet allowed me to see it. That spell came from him, and it was aimed right at Evelyn. If I didn't jump in between that spell and her, she would have been dead," Sofia said. I smiled as I could feel the angry subsiding from everyone.

"You think that the Crystal of Alicoria restricted your magic, Evelyn?"

"No, I know the truth behind the Crystal of Alicoria," I said. "It was a sister Amulet to the Amulet of Avalona. Created by the Magic of Clara and Nubia, the first Twin siblings of Magicia, you think that you can stop the power, but you cannot. I release the magic of the Crystal of Alicoria!" I shouted. The magic rushed through me as Sofia held the Amulet. I was supercharged. Nothing could stop me. The monster backed away slighted.

"Galacia!" The demonic voice called out.

"Yes Master--" Galacia paused, looking at me. I couldn't see what happened, but the next thing that I knew was I put a magical block of the monster. He was now a normal man, who had unlimited magical knowledge. I touched the ground. I looked at Galacia who backed away from me.

"Do you want to try anything?" I asked. He shooked his head and ran off.

"COWERD!" the man who I onced called father called out to the ice-demon.

"No, he has common sense to run," I stated. I walked over to the keys, and went to open the cell, but I soon collapsed as soon as I got to the cells.

"Evelyn!" That was the last thing that I remember hearing.

I woke up a few weeks later, Sofia was by my side. Amber looking out the window. Baileywick coming with a tray of drinks and treats. I got up and I looked around the room. Sofia looked over at me and smiled softly. Amber smiled brightly at me. Baileywick looked surprised that up.

"Oh, I shall inform your parents that you are awake," he said as he rushed out of the room. He placed the tray on the table in the room and rushed out. He looked like he was mumbling something on the way out. I looked at Sofia and Amber who both sat on my bed.

"What happened?" I asked. "I kind of lost track of what happened after I released the Crystal of Alicoria."

"Well, I think that it is best if our parents tell you. Come on, why don't you get washed up," Amber said. I looked at her.

"How long have I been unconscious?" I asked.

"About a few weeks," Sofia said. She tugged me out of bed. I got up and wobbled slightly as I walked to the vanity. I quickly washed up and got dressed. I made my bed as King Roland and my mom enter the room with Baileywick.

"Evelyn," I heard Mom say. I turned to her. I was about to take a step forward, but I remembered that she probably didn't like me for what happened to Sofia in the Ritual room.

"Mom, before you say anything, please hear me out... I didn't hurt any one of them. I didn't hurt Sofia--"

"We know," Mom said. I looked at her, teary eyed. She walked over to me and hugged me tightly. I held her close to me also.

"And now that you are home, no one really knows what actually happened. Your father was taken by Queen Lorelei and King Artemis, they are waiting your return back to the Kingdom of Magicia," King Roland said. I looked at them.

"What is it that you want to do?" I remember grandpa asked me. "What are you going to do once you are on the throne?"

"I want to united the Kingdoms. Break down the barrier between our world and the world of my sister," I said.

"Well, then you are going to need the Amulet of Avalor and the Crystal of Alicoria. You already have one of the two." Grandpa said.

"When I am on the throne, magic will be welcomed from all walks a life. No one will be able to mistreat the magic, as long as it is done with the goodness of their hearts," I said.

"That would be great," mom said.

"And I'll will be on the throne until you are ready, Evelyn," Grandpa said. "All that in ask is that you all visit and feel free to call me grandpa, because you are family."

"Thank you," I said as I looked at him.

"Any time, my dear. And Sofia, I know that you have a talent for magic also, from what I can tell and remember, but I am sorry, you will not be able to have the throne of Magicia, as it is normally goes to the youngest child of the youngest child. It is a law in the Magicia Kingdom, that is why there has only been one child for so long, until your father came along." Grandpa said.

"I understand, Grandpa," Sofia said. "I knew that I wasn't going to rule, and I am fine with that. I am. Guardian of the Everfree Realm, so I will be busy with them."
