Chapter 14
The Mission's Speed Bump.
About an hour later, they heard. "I can understand way my big brother married you. How far along are you?" Felicia asked.
"What? Rodney said in shock.
"Stop being a Detective, Felicia" Pierre yelled.
"Wow how did you know?" Stephanie said as she sat down next to Pierre.
"Well for starter your dresses are all a size bigger than the last one. There are the yellow paint buckets in Rodney's old bedroom and the half-painted wall with yellow paint." Felicia finished.
"Damn you are good." Morelli said as he took a sip of his beer.
"All most two months" Stephanie told them.
"Fits" Felicia said.
All of a sudden Steph's cell phone rang.
"Hi Grandma" Stephanie told her.
"Hi sweetie, I need a favor can you talk to Helen please, I want to go out tonight Lula, and your mother is saying that she'll put me in a home can you help me out?" Grandma Mazur asked her granddaughter.
"No, and if you do sneak out tonight Grandma Tank and myself will not be at the family dinner tomorrow night." Stephanie told her.
"You can't do that to me she'll drive everybody crazy if you two are not there," Grandma begged.
"exactly." Stephanie said.
"what is it going to be?" Stephanie asked her softly.
"I will stay home tonight." Grandma told her.
"Thank you and I love you Grandma." Stephanie hung up.
"Okay no offense but your grandmother is nuts." Rodney said.
"Well ever sense Grandpa died she just wants to live a little." Stephanie told everyone.
"that is nothing you should meet my grandmother, she will put curses on anybody that she deems unworthy of me." Joe told everyone.
"True, you don't realize how many curses I have put on me from his Grandma" Stephanie told everyone.
"Family dinner huh" Felicia asked.
"Italian, and Hungarian so family dinners are a must, unless I work or I am dead" Stephanie told everyone.
"Makes sense." Felicia said out loud.
Rodney looked at his watch. "Holly shit it is getting late, and I have an early shift tomorrow. I gotta go. Been fun" Rodney said. He gave his baby brother a high five and then left.
"I am going to follow suit" Felicia told them. "Until next time, take care of my nephew or niece. I like you, you're a keeper in this family." Felicia said and gave Pierre a quick hug and then left the house.
"Wow, that was normal, I don't see that very often." Morelli said.
"I can agree to that" Stephanie said too.
"Yup just an ordinary family, nothing special." Tank told them.
"Well, I am going to bed" Morelli got up and left for the guest room, his room.
Pierre, took Stephanie in his arms. He then kissed her deeply on her lips.
"Let's go to bed too." Tank said.
"Sounds good." Stephanie replied.
They walked up stairs to the master suite. Stephanie hit the bed. Pierre was on top of her in a heartbeat. "Are you sure little one?" He asked her.
"Yes, please Pierre." She asked him.
He lifted her shirt. He fiddled with her bra for a few moments before it was off. He looked at her for a minute. He started to move his hands down her belly, and found her jeans he unbuttoned them. She took off his shirt and removed his jeans. He was in her in about three minutes. "Oh you are beautiful." He told Stephanie.
They fell asleep in each other's arms for the night. They woke up on Friday morning to Ranger's voice down stairs with Morelli and his Captain.
"Sounds like the crew is here," Tank said to her. "You try to get some rest. I will go down and see what is going on" Tank told her.
Tank put on his jeans, and went downstairs. "What now, there will be an under cover from the 14th Precinct. Her name is
"Detective Felicia Sherman" Tank said before Potter could tell her name.
"Yeah, she is my sister." Tank told him.
"She is one good detective from what I hear." He replied.
"Yes, one the best." Tank told her.
"She is going in as a waitress"
"Right, just to let you know Tank this is not just a regular restaurant." Ranger said as he handed the pictures to Tank.
"Oh boy," Tank looked at the waitress and waiters.
"Are the waitress in lingerie?" Tank asked.
"Yup and the males are in speedos." The captain said, "Have fun" The Captain walked out the house shaking his head.
"We are making progress; this should be over soon" Ranger said put on his shades and walked out of the house.
Tank and Morelli justed looked at each other.
