"So, Devan," Will said as he walked up to us with a clipboard in his hand, "It looks like you're free to go, we just need to get you some new clothes. Your other ones were a bit… ripped."
Just then another Apollo kid came up with a fresh Camp Half Blood shirt and a necklace, just like what they had given me a few days ago. Devan got up and went to the infirmary bathroom to change.
He came back out whining, "Augh, do I have to wear this?" he said pointing to the shirt.
"Yes," Will said, "Now Trish will give you a tour of camp."
"Wait why me?" I complained.
"Because, you're the one who saved him," Will then walked away, not giving me anymore time to argue.
"Fine, come on I'll show you around, I guess. Jamie, you want to come?"
"Um, I actually have to help some of the younger kids train today, but when I'm done I'll join you."
"Oh, okay, if you need help just tell me," I called to him as he left the infirmary. He just smiled and waved.
"So, what's with the whole, cloak thing? You goth or something?" Devan asked as we walked towards the cabins.
"Uh, no, I tend to attract an absurd amount of monsters, and this keeps them from sensing me. Unlike the demigods here, I don't have a scent, but I can still attract them," I explained.
"Ha! You should have seen how many monsters I defeated trying to get here! There were hundreds!" Devan bragged.
"Don't flatter yourself, most of these demigods could do that in their sleep," I snorted.
"Yeah! Our sis could do that with one sweep of her hand!" The Stoll's said as they came up behind me.
"Are these your brothers?" Devan asked.
"We wish!" the two exclaimed.
"No, they just call me sis, because-"
"We want her to be our sister," Connor finished explaining.
"Oh, and Trish, can we hide in your cabin? Jazmin is looking for us because she still thinks we did it," Travis asked.
"Sure." They went to head towards my cabin, "Hold up, I need to do the thing."
"Oh, yeah!" they exclaimed as they ran back towards me and bent down so that I could reach their foreheads. I placed my hands on each of their heads and as they started to glow purple. When I finished, they jumped back up and ran off yelling, "Thanks!" I just snickered.
"Just don't touch anything!" I yelled to them.
"So, what should you show me first?" Devan asked as he placed a hand on my back.
I slapped his hand away, "Do NOT touch me! If you touch me in anyway, you'll be on the ground faster than you can say banana!"
"I'm sorry, your just so beautiful how can I resist?" he said with a smirk.
"There's the cabins, the arena, the woods, and the lake. There, done, tour over," I growled as I ran towards the arena, and to where Jamie was. Augh, why did it have to be this guy, this guy is the one I saved, I thought as I ran.
I arrived at the arena to see Percy and Jamie teaching some younger kids how to spar, just like Jamie had said. I walked over to where Annabeth was sitting, I sat down beside her and smiled.
"So, what's wrong?" she asked, not even taking her eyes off of what she was doing.
"H-how did you know?"
She looked up, "I can just tell."
"Fine, the kid who I saved earlier, Devan, yeah he keeps trying to flirt with me," I said the word in disgust.
"Well, you got to admit, you kinda are a bit beautiful," Annabeth said.
"The exact point I'm trying not to get at," I said raising my hands in the air. Just then Jamie noticed me and waved, I waved back.
"What about him? You like him, don't you?" Annabeth asked.
"Yeah, but that's different, I've known him for a while. And he likes me for me, not my appearance. Plus, he doesn't flirt with me," I explained. Suddenly a bell rung, I knew that sound from last time. We were once again under attack. "Augh, you shouldn't have me here," I grumbled, "I attract to many monsters, even with my cloak on."
I ran off and lifted myself up, there weren't too many, I could have probably taken them out by myself. Just as I was about to attack, I saw Devan running in to the mob with only a sword. "Devan! What the Hera do you think you're doing!" I yell as I pull myself downward to get him out of there. I reach him and push him out of the way, just to be hit in the head with a brick. How convenient. It knocked me out cold, and I hear Jamie yelling out to me.
Time skip to when Trish wakes up.
I wake up sweaty but cold, I see Will standing at the edge of my bed writing something in yet another clipboard. "Hmm, I see you've awaken," he said. Well no duh I thought.
"Where's Jamie?" I asked Will.
"He was just here, but Devan wanted to talk to him, so they went outside."
"Oh." I leaned back on my bed and waited for Jamie to come back, I wanted to tell him something. After felt like an hour, I finally heard something. I walked out of the infirmary, even though Will told me not to, as I walked out. I got outside to see Devan limping yet again, but this time covered in several claw marks and cuts. I gasp and run towards him.
"W-where's Jamie?" I ask franticly.
"I-I'm sorry Trish, h-he's gone," Devan replied.
"What do you mean he's gone?" I asked with tears in my eyes.
Percy walked over to me, "I'm sorry Trish, Jamie's dead."
