Yukin has won his duel, but Zoey has lost hers. The future of True Duel all comes down to one last duel. Siegrain is going against Gus and it's going to be an icy cold duel.

"Let's do this!" Siegrain said as he and Gus were about to start with them having 4000LP. "If you don't mind, I'll start this duel. I'll start by summoning my Deepsea Blowfish to the field." A blue blowfish jumped out of the water and came on the field with 300atk points.

"Ha! I'll turn that blowfish into sushi soon enough." Gus said.

"We'll see about that." Siegrain said. "I activate Deepsea Blowfish's ability! By sacrificing it, I can deal 300 points of direct damage!" His blowfish inflated until it popped and the spikes were shot at Gus with his life points dropping to 3700. "There's more. I can now summon the other two that are in my deck." Two more blowfishes came out with them having 100def points.

"Nice. Not only has he dealt damage, but he also strengthened his defenses." Zoey said.

"But do you think it's going to be enough?" Alyssa said.

"You don't need to worry too much about him." Yukin said. "I've known Siegrain for a long time. He'll be fine."

"I can't use their abilities on the turn their special summoned, so I place one card facedown and that ends my turn." Siegrain said.

"My turn!" Gus said as he drew his card. "You're going to need more than those little fishies to stop me. I'll start by summoning Abominable Snow Spider!" He summoned out a white spider to the field with it having 1300atk points. Abominable was right because it did not look friendly at all. "Next, I activate my spider's special ability. Once a turn, I can summon another water attribute monster to the field. I summon a second Abominable Snow Spider!" A second spider came out. "Now, I build the overlay network with my level three spider's!" Both of his spiders became blue energy and flew into a vortex. "I xyz summon rank three Abominable Snow Beast!" He summoned out a yeti-like monster with white fur and it had 2000atk points.

"I knew he could xyz summon." Soto said.

"Did he say "rank"? Doesn't he mean level?" Augustus asked.

"No. Xyz monsters have ranks, not levels." Nathan said. "Xyz summoning is when you take two monsters that are the same level and overlay them to summon an xyz monster that's the same rank. Also, those things flying around it are called overlay units. They're the monsters used to summon it and they can be used for the monster's special ability."

"I now activate Abominable Snow Beast's ability!" Gus said. "I use one overlay unit to summon out another water attribute monster that's level four or lower! I summon out Abominable Snow Bear!" When his monster ate an overlay unit, Gus summoned out a humanoid polar bear with it having 1400atk points.

"Hang on. Your spider had the same ability. Why xyz summon a monster with the same ability?" Siegrain said.

"That's simple. My beast gains an extra 200atk points each time it uses an overlay unit." Gus said. His yeti's attack points rose to 2200. "My bear's ability will also come in handy. This allows all water attribute monsters on my field to inflict piercing damage." That didn't sound good to Siegrain. "That's right! Even if your fishes are in defense mode, they can't protect you! Now, my beast, attack!" His yeti roared and unleashed a powerful blizzard.

"Not so fast! I activate Bubble Spring!" Siegrain said. "This trap prevents my water attribute monsters from being destroyed and I take no damage!" A giant bubble came around his fish and blocked the attack.

"You think you're safe? Think again." Gus said. "I activate Instant Blizzard!" A blizzard came in and blasted pretty hard against Siegrain. "Lovely weather, wouldn't you say? This spell card deal 400 points of damage for every water monster that's on the field, no matter whose side they're one."

"Say what?!" Siegrain said. That wasn't good for him. He was blown back and knocked in the water as his life points dropped to 2400.

"Siegrain!" Zoey called.

"He doesn't have a chance of drowning, does he?" Augustus said.

"No. Siegrain knows his stuff when it comes to water." Yukin said. Siegrain was able to swim back up to the surface and got on another iceberg.

"Not cool!" Siegrain called.

"Actually, I think it was very cool. There was a blizzard after all." Gus said as he laughed. "You won't beat me like those other losers."

"Did you hear that?" Seymore said. "He's got some nerve to call us losers."

"I'm pretty sure he just meant you You're the only one out of the three of us that did lose." Jenny said. That bruised Seymore's ego as he went to sulk in the corner.

'I can't lose to this guy. I need to find some way to beat him.' Siegrain thought as all of it was resting on him.

"It's your move. Let's see if you really have anything to offer." Gus said.

"You'll see!" Siegrain said as he drew his next card. "Yes. This will help. I'll start by releasing both of my Deepsea Blowfish to tribute summon! I summon Deepsea Giant Squid!" Both of his fishes were gone and he summoned out a giant blue squid with it having 2600atk points. "Now, I'll have my squid use it's ability on your beast!" The squid stretched out it's arms and grabbed Gus' beast.

"What's are you doing?!" Gus said.

"My squid is able to take one of your monsters and equip it onto him." Siegrain said. "With one less monster out of the way, your bear is going down!"

"Yes! He's got him now!" Zoey said. His giant squid went on the attack. It was about to strike his bear, but a barrier came around and blocked the attack with Gus' life points still dropping to 2500.

"What just happened?" Siegrain said.

"It's all thanks to this guy." Gus said as he held out a card. "Abominable Snow Monkey. By sending him to the graveyard, my bear doesn't get destroyed. What's more is that I can summon an Abominable monster from my deck as long as it's attack points aren't greater than the damage I just took. Come out, Abominable Snow Yak!" He summoned a white fur yak with it having a 1000atk points.

"At least I got your strongest monster. I end my turn." Siegrain said.

"You think just because you took my Snow Beast, you're safe? You're not!" Gus said as he drew his card. "I'll start by activating my yak's ability! He can change the level of all my Abominable monsters from one to six! I'll change them into level four!" Both of his monsters' levels changed into level four. "I now build the overlay network to xyz summon!" He xyz summoned once more as a new monster took the place of both. "Free from his icy prison, this monster gives abominable a new vision! I xyz summon Abominable Snow Behemoth!" He summoned out a giant white fur beast standing on two legs and had horns curving back and with ad 2500atk points.

"Not bad, but my monster is still stronger." Siegrain said.

"That's what you think! I activate his special ability!" Gus said as his behemoth ate an overlay unit. "I can now destroy one card on the field! Take out my old beast!" His monster shot a beam of ice and froze Snow Beast and it was destroyed. A move that the others found strange. "Also, when he uses an overlay unit, he gains 500 additional attack points." His monster grew stronger as it now had 3000atk points. "Take down that squid with Subzero Berserk!" His monster attacked with a powerful roar that froze the squid and it shattered the squid to pieces with Siegrain's life points dropping to 2000.

"That's weird." Yukin said.

"What is?" Nathan asked.

"Deepsea Giant Squid can avoid being destroyed by sacrificing a card that's equipped to it." Yukin said. "However, why didn't Gus use Behemoth's ability to destroy Giant Squid himself?"

"Yeah. He could have won the duel if he did that." Zoey said.

'Weird. Why did he attack like that?' Siegrain wondered. He tried to figure it out until it came to him. "I get it! As powerful as that thing is, it must only be able to attack monsters!" Gus was surprised that Siegrain figured it out.

"Not bad. You got it right pretty quickly." Gus said. "Still, it won't save you. Unless you can figure out how to destroy it, there's no way you can win." Siegrain hated to admit it, but Gus was right. "I think I'll end my turn with this." He placed a card facedown and that was the end of his turn.

'If I can't turn this around now, it's all over.' Siegrain said. He was feeling a lot of pressure, but he had to take it. "It's all or nothing!" Siegrain drew his card and he saw a chance. "Yes! This will really help! First, I'm activating Reeling Release! This allows me to bring back one fish in my graveyard! Deepsea Blowfish, come back!" One of his blowfish jumped back to the field. "When a fish is summoned to the field, I'm able to special summon Deepsea Remora!" He summoned out a blue remora fish with it having 200atk points. "It's all set! I sacrifice both my monsters to summon Deepsea Great White!" He released both of his fishes and a great white shark jumped out on the field with it having 2400atk points.

"All that for a monster that's still weaker?" Gus said as he didn't get it.

"Great White, attack his Snow Behemoth!" Siegrain ordered with everyone shocked at what he's doing.

"Have you lost it? You're monster is weaker!" Gus said. Siegrain's shark tackled the behemoth, but Siegrain was the one that took the damage as his life points dropped to 1400.

"I might take damage, but my shark has a powerful ability. When he attacks a monster with higher attack points, that monster is destroyed and you take damage equal to that monster's attack points!" Siegrain said.

"What?!" Gus said.

"That's right! I win!" Siegrain said as victory was insight for True Duel.

"I don't think so! I'm taking you with me!" Gus said. "I activate Frozen Loss! This trap deals damage to both of us!" When that trap played, both monsters blew up and the shockwaves caused the sea to get wild as both duelists took damage and both of their life points hit zero.

"It's a tie!" Zoey said. The field changed back to normal and Yukin hurried over to Siegrain.

"Siegrain!" Yukin called as he helped him up. "You okay?"

"I'm sorry. I couldn't secure the win." Siegrain said.

"You manage to tie it. That's better than a lost, given the circumstances." Yukin said. That made Siegrain feel a little better, but not much. He really wanted to win and wanted to help his friends.

"At least Gus can't say we're losers." Seymore said. "He didn't win his duel either."

"Again, just you. You lost and he ended in a draw. There's a difference in there." Jenny said. That bruised Seymore's ego again as he went back to sulking in the corner.

"Well, Miss Abarin, it looks like that's that." Eli said. "You didn't win. Therefore, you will leave Yukin and our school alone."

"Unacceptable." Miss Abarin said. "I believe I said the one with two wins would be the winner."

"But all three duels have been fought. Both sides have one win each. The last duel is a draw." Eli said.

"Then, we'll have one more duel between our two winners. That will be the tiebreaker." Miss Abarin said.

"You can't decide that at the last minute!" Eli said.

"It's fine!" Yukin called as he and Siegrain entered the hall. "If that's what it takes, fine. I don't backdown from a challenge and I'm not scared of these guys. If I have to duel one more time to stop this, I will."

"That's what I like to hear." Miss Abarin said. "I'm sure it will be an interesting duel between you and Jenny." Jenny stepped forward and was ready to duel like Yukin was.

"Wait. I'll duel him." All of them looked and saw Renji came out of hiding. Yukin turned to him and was a little curious as to who he was. At last these two will face each other. The secrets as to who Renji really is may be revealed.
