For all those wondering: Despite being the two being born in 1981 the time traveling event in 2013 had affected Carmelita's aging and made her look like she was born in 1990 and due to Demi being her Twin, she must've been affected as well, this is known as the Time Travel Curse. It'll affect the person by either, making them younger, older or stop aging altogether. The only way to stop the curse for someone that has stopped aging is for them to have their first child./p

November 13th, 2015

It was one day until Carmelita Demi would become 25 years old. William was at the shop getting a gift for his sisters. He was planning to get a game for Demi and a nice dress for Carmelita, he was checking before he felt something enter his back pocket, but he just brushed it off. After going to the checkout, he walked for the door until the alarms went off; He was baffled until he felt his back pocket and realised that there was packet of cigarettes.

"What the!?" William was utterly shocked to see those.

"HEY!" A cashier yelled at him, "You have to pay for those. Wait, aren't you supposed to be 14 years old!?"

"I-I-I…" William was stuttering as he was trying to tell the cashier.

"I'm calling the cops. You should know that underage smoking is against the law."

William felt scared, he knew he didn't put the packet of cigs in his back pocket. He took the packet out before bolting out the door. This angered the cashier, he called the receptionist about what happened and soon, a police car arrived, the door opened, and Carmelita walked out.

"Thank you for coming, there was a kid that was trying to shoplift this packet of cigarettes." The cashier said.

"That's interesting, why would a young kid try to shoplift those?" Carmelita questioned. "Do you have a description of what he or she or they looked like?"

The cashier gave out the description, "He was small, had long curved triangular ears, brown hair and his fur colour was light grey and light blue."

Carmelita stopped writing and dropped her pen, the only person that looked like that was her own brother. She thanked the cashier for his cooperation and walked right back to her car. She looked at the picture of her with William at the Capitol building during their summer holiday in Washington D.C.

"Why would you do such a thing?" Carmelita said in pure disappointment as she was about to cry. She then began to notice something odd. "Wait a minute? William would never do such a thing, there must be something up with the whole thing?" And she drove away.

William was scared to go back home as Carmelita might yell at him for something he didn't even do. He walked around the city avoiding the police until it was dark. When he noticed the moon rise, the little Lombax went back to the house to see Carmelita laying on the couch.

"William!" She got up and ran for him just to stop. She noticed something odd about him, he was hiding something behind his coat. "Where were you? What are you hiding?" Then her eye's opened in terror. "Wait a minute. Did you really shoplift something?"

William was getting scared, he looked up to see his sisters face begin to look cross until he confessed.

"No." He replied, beginning to cry, "I didn't."

"Then what are you hiding?" The Latina fox let out her hand, "Hand it over."

William accepted defeat and took out the dress. Carmelita was shocked to see what her brother was hiding, she looked around it and there was no sign of a security tag.

"Is this for me?" she asked.

"It was." William was about to breakdown, "I bought you that dress and a game for Demi for your birthday tomorrow, now it's no longer a surprise because some idiot decided to put a packet of cigs in my back pocket and almost ruin my life."

Carmelita placed her hands around Williams body and lifted him up. He was confused what was happening until she hugged him hard.

"Thank you." Carmelita whispered into her brother's ear. "At least we're lucky that Demi isn't home or else her surprise would be ruined."

"Where is she?" William questioned.

"She's at April Spencer's place, probably getting her gift from them." Carmelita answered. "Now then, what do you do tonight?"

"Play some games until Demi gets back" William said beginning to become happier.

"OK then." The Latina fox replied.
