"What company CEO did he say he was from?" Gang Shik, a man with purple hair sat at a table with another scruffier man.
"What job required for you to speak with me?" He asked.
"I heard that everything that happens in a dungeon, stays in a dungeon." The scruffier man ominously mentioned.
"What are you implying?" Shik leaned forward.
He had a duffel bag and softly placed it on the table, gaining Shik's full attention.
"Here's 2 Billion. I think you can understand what I'm saying. I beg of you...Hunter, please... Please kill those bastards..!" The man bowed and clenched his hands, hoping his offer would be taken.
"With this, add another billion to take care of the other Hunters. It's no problem to take care of the Hunters you're speaking of, but the other Hunters become annoyances." The purple haired man started to smile a little.
"Y-you mean..." The man was hit by a wave of emotion.
"Once you hit B Rank, you are classified as a High Ranker. You receive calls from major guilds and hold power, a lot of it. But do you know why I endured starvation and entered the monitoring department of the Hunters Guild?" He smiled statistically and pointed at himself.
"For me, it's much more fun killing people than monsters."
The Gamer was called into a D Rank mission, so he went over to where the mission was. He had equipped his newly gained necklace, and was glad that it didn't visually show up.
He was walking with his hood up, simply because he didn't enjoy the sunlight up against his face, when he heard an extremely familiar voice.
"Excuse me, are you perhaps... Mr. Zen?!" Song's voice surprised Zen, he looked over to see Song.
"Mr. Song?" Zen took his hood off, and smiled at Song. "I didn't recognize you at all! I can't find a trace of your old self!" Song exclaimed as he continued, "You changed so much in a few months! What happened to you?!" Song couldn't catch his comment before it left his mouth. "Ah... I shouldn't have said that." Song looked at Zen's leg, expecting for it to not be there, but instead became very shocked when it was. "How... did a torn leg..." Song wandered off.
"When I came to, it was like that. Even I'm not sure what happened." Zen lied to Song, he knew that Gamer's Body had everything to do with his leg being reattached.
"Ahahaha! It's wonderful that that happened! It's good for a young man to not be disabled!" Zen looked at Song's left arm, seeing nothing as Song touched Zen's left shoulder with his right arm. "Don't worry about this! I'm glad to be kept alive at all with the few skills I have!"
"Are you going on the Guild's orders?" Zen asked Mister Song. "That's right." Song replied. "Well, Let's go." Zen suggested as he and Song walked together to the mission spot.
"They're already here." Song began, referring to the other members of the group. "Haha...What a day this is. The members of that day are here." Song looked at the people who fled the same day that the group entered the Double-Lair.
"Zen?!" Julie stood tall, her orange hair in a ponytail. Her eyes started tearing up, seeing the man that she loved and thought that died. "Julie! And... Mister Kim." Julie, Kim, Song, Zen, and one of the survivors named Yun all stood together for just a moment, the past bringing up poor feelings.
Kim couldn't even look Zen in his eyes, he felt so unbearably despicable.
"Kim left us for dead, no wonder Zen can't respect him. But I left him too... I don't think I can speak a whole lot." Song thought to himself.
"Zen? Are you really Zen..? You changed so much I couldn't recognize you..." Julie held her hand over her mouth, her eyes tearing up more as she looked at Zen.
"I'm a bit late." Zen gave Julie a small smile. "Why... After all the time I spent looking for you... Why is it now that you show up? Why did you grow so much?!" Julie walked to Zen and checked his pulse, and saw his leg.
"Your leg should be in very bad condition... why is it in perfect condition?!" Julie was beyond curious of Zen's situation. "Well..." Zen began.
"What's with this romantic attitude?" A black haired man came out of a van with handcuffs and an orange outfit on. He was obviously a convict. A few other men walked out with him too.
"Shut up, you fools." A man with purple hair that was wearing a suit demanded of his underlings. "This isn't a picnic." An ominous feeling came from the man, similar to bloodlust, but Zen wasn't picking up anything.
"Tale care of us." The black haired convict winked at Julie as he walked past her.
"What... is this?" Song asked as he saw the convicts walk out of the van and stretch.
"I'm sorry for being late. Are you two the Hunters Zen Han and Chin Song?" A short woman with thick glasses asked Zen and Song.
"Wait, what's with the convicts?" Song asked.
"Oh, those men are the rehabilitators that will be joining you in the mission." She informed them calmly.
"Rehabilitators?! You want us to go on a mission with criminals?!" Song questioned, not enjoying the current situation.
"Well... it's not abnormal for criminals to shave off jail time by helping with missions." The short woman touched the tips of her fingers against one another.
"My god..." Song sighed as he rubbed his forehead. "It's because of our low resources that we must do this." She continued.
"Also the monitoring department's Gang Shik is here too, so it should be fine. Approximately 10 C Rank Hunters are needed to defeat a B Rank Hunter, and with Shik being a B Rank and the convicts being C Rank, there should be absolutely no problems." She reassured.
"Something feels off. Please drop out of this raid Julie." Zen suggested for Julie.
"What about you?" She asked. "I'm going." Zen answered. "Then I'm going too." Julie stood by Zen's side with all the confidence she could muster up.
Mister Song looked at Zen and Julie's conversation with uninterested eyes, but then turned to the criminals and head of the monitoring department who were standing in front of the portal.
"They really do expect us to enter into this dungeon with these criminals..?" Song looked around and let the scene come back to him. "I guess... this is fate."
"I guess we're all going in together then, well... to the dungeon."
"Ah, there it is. Are you allowed to treat us like slaves?" A man who was just unlocked out if his handcuffs said.
"Shut up." Shik unlocked the other convicts and made his way back to Song.
"I'm Gang Shik from the Monitoring department. As you have heard, I will be watching over these inmates, so there is nothing to worry about." Shik shook Song's hand, and asked Song a question. "Who will lead this raid?"
"I'll do it." Song nodded. "Then I'll leave it to you." Shik walked away and let Song work his magic.
"Are you okay with me being the leader?" Song looked back to Zen.
"Of course." Zen answered, finding it slightly off that Song asked him. Zen was then caught off guard when Song bowed to him. "Thank you for giving me another chance." Song thanked. "M-Mister?!" Zen was shocked by the sudden apology.
"It was my fault all those people died, and it's your fault that the remaining six survived. It was my responsibility to protect them, and you took over. And for that, I bow to you. Thank you." Song finished, gaining Kim's sad eyes.
"Stand up, Mister Song." Zen commanded. Song stood up, then locked eyes with Kim's sad gaze. "Kim, you have no problems with me leading this, correct?" Song asked, only getting a short answer from Kim.
"Do whatever you like." Kim answered coldly.
The group were fighting many small goblins. The goblins went down easily and the group was having no problems.
"I'm surprised that I never had to heal you even once." Julie walked alongside Zen, also noticing his dagger.
"It's quite odd that the bare-handed Zen is using a dagger." Song noticed Zen's different style.
"He seems so much different from the Zen I knew. He used to have a helpless feeling to him, but now he has a relaxed aura. He has truly become a man." Song noticed Zen's growth. "On the other hand, Julie's trauma is far too deep. If mere goblins are causing her to shiver, she'll have to retire soon." Song thought of the unfortunate events. Julie hid her shaking hands behind her, trying to make sure Zen wasn't worried in the slightest.
"Darn, the path spilts here." Shik pointed at the three separate paths in the ground. "We should split up. The danger will rise, but the clear time will too." Shik suggested.
Zen looked down the paths, using his sense to tell where the boss was, seeing it was on the left side, he decided to speak up. "We should take the left path." Zen suggested for Song. "Okay." Song took the suggestion. "I'll take the criminals to the right-most path." Shik looked at Zen with a side-eye, getting Zen to side-eye him back.
"The boss is at the end of this path. I won't get much experience if I beat this boss, but that guy worry me more..." Zen thought deeply.
The inmates were taking out many different goblins without any problems, then Shik asked the inmates a question.
"Can you guys kill children?" Shik asked, already knowing the answer. "What a boring question to ask us." One of the inmates replied.
"Good. You all will meet starved children who want to eat your flesh. Will you be able to kill them?" Shik planted the image of red-eyed children in the inmates minds.
"Of course."
"Easy."
"We can kill them."
The three inmates smirked and oozed confidence. "That's right. You'll kill anyone you need to in order to live. I'll report it like this to the guild. You guys, here, met a hundred goblins." Shik's eyes glowed, a devilish grin sitting in his face.
"I've decided." Kim got done slashing another goblin as he looked at Yun. "I'm going to bow my head and apologize to Zen. If we're going to live on as Hunters, we must get used to the small gesture of bowing out heads. We left a teammate to die, and he won't forgive us, but we must apologize regardless." Kim told Yun, getting a sad nod in agreement.
"Oh, I guess it loop... s..." Kim saw Shik, but was completely caught off guard with what he saw specifically.
"W-What?!"
