Third Person POV
"Mom said, "If a boy can't see the beauty within, then he's not worth it." Can you believe it? What world does she live in?" Jane ranted as she was in the girl's dorm room with mal and Evie.
"Auradon." Mal scoffed as she laid on her bed, writing in a book.
"Mal, do you like?" Evie asked as she held up a black and blue outfit she had been working on.
"Yeah. It's cute. It brings out your eyes." She said, not really paying attention.
"Yeah, I know."
"I'll never get a boyfriend." Jane complained as she plopped down on one of the other beds.
"Boyfriends are overrated." Mal told her.
"And how would you know, Mal? You've never had one."
"It's 'cause I don't need one, E. They're a waste of time." Mal told her before she suddenly had a freaked out expression on her face.
"I forgot to do Chad's homework! Oh, no! Oh, no, no, no." She said as she ran to grab the bag.
"And that is exactly what I mean." Mal said before they heard a quick knock at the door, seeing a girl walk in.
"Hey, guys! I'm Lonnie. My mom's Mulan?" She said as the girls stayed quiet.
"No? Anyways, I love what you've done with Jane's hair. And I know you hate us, and, well, you're evil. But do you think you could do mine?" She asked as she fiddled with her short bob style.
"Why would I do that for you?" Mal asked.
"I'll pay you 50 dollars." Lonnie said, holding up a small bag.
"Good answer." Evie said, taking the bag.
"I need to buy more material. Let's see, I'm thinking, we lose the bangs, maybe some layers and some highlights." She said messing with Lonnie's hair.
"Yeah, yeah. I want it cool. Like Mal's." She said, gesturing to the purplette.
"Really? The split ends, too?" Evie asked, teasing her friend before shaking the bag. Mal groaned before getting off of her bed.
"Okay..." She said, giving in before flipping through her spellbook. "Beware, forswear, replace the old with cool hair." She waved her finger around similar as she had done with Jane, and Lonnies hair changed very quickly. She went to look in the mirror and was shocked at her new style.
"I know. I know. It looks like a mop on your head. You know what? Let's cut it off, layer it..." Evie started to say before Lonnie stopped her.
"No, no, no, no, no, no! I love it."
"You do?"
"It's just..." She started to say before she reached down and ripped her skirt. "Now I'm cool."
"Like ice." Mal said before Jane went in front of the mirror before ripping her own skirt.
"What did I just do? Mom's gonna kill me!" She said, shocked at what she had just done.
