Sailing with the new baby

Before the crew knew it was time for the new passengers to board the new and improved Pacific Princess and this time there was an extra special passenger on board, and she was going to be carried around by the Captain in her little carrier that was going to be attached to him

"She looks so cute attached to you Captain" Julie says when she saw the baby girl laying on the captain's chest right now and it looked like she was going to go to sleep

"I know she is she was fed and changed before I got ready" he says as he was looking down at the baby that was quite contented right now

The passengers started to come on board and Julie and Vicki were helping passengers find their rooms and Gopher was helping as well

"I managed to get ahold of the hospital where this little one was born and her mother was not a good patient at the hospital, and the mother treated her baby very badly while at the hospital, and once they were released the mother tried passing the baby onto someone else, and it wasn't a good plan, so when the ship was getting a new paint job the mother found it a good opportunity to leave her here, and the mother was going to go back to her old life" Adam tells the group

"Did the baby have a name at the hospital?" Merrill asks as he was swaying with the baby to keep her calm cause she was going to go to sleep right now

"Yeah I wrote it down" Adam says as he hands the Captain a piece of paper that had the name of the baby on it

"Marisol what a pretty name for a pretty girl" the Captain says as he looks at the baby cause she heard her name finally after all this time

"She does look the part" Julie says as she admires the little girl that was cuddled close to the Captain right now

"Yeah she might have a playmate cause I found one in my cabin" Gopher says as he was holding another baby girl and she looked four months older then Marisol

The two babies babbled to each other for the moment

"I'm going to adopt this one to help with the void that has been there since my dad died" Gopher says as he was holding the one baby

"Fatherhood looks good on you Gopher" Doc says as he was looking at him

"Thanks, I want to be there for her like how my parents were there for me" Gopher says as he was keeping the baby calm cause she wanted down, but she could not right now

The Captain kept Marisol close to him cause the air was a little chilly, and Gopher went to look at the gift shop for a coat for his little girl as well

"There we go you look really cute with your coat on" Gopher says as he had his little girl close to him

"Gopher maybe we can be that family for her" Julie says as she was looking at the little girl who was looking at her cause she thought she was mommy

"Okay we can give it a chance" he says as he was looking at the little girl and looking at Julie too

Gopher talked cute baby talk to the baby that he had in his arms cause she loved it

"She finds you funny" Julie says as she looks at Gopher

"I'm totally okay with that she is my sidekick" he says as he went to get his Groucho glasses to see if that makes her laugh

Julie followed to see if there was room for a crib for her cause she needed a bed to sleep in and not with Gopher

"Gretel you are such a sweetheart" he says as he kisses her

Once Gopher had the glasses he went back on deck with Gretel Smith, and Julie followed behind him cause Gretel might try to talk

"You getting sleepy huh sweetheart?" Gopher asks her as she laid her head on him

She nods as she rubs her eyes a little bit cause it was close to her nap time

"Sleep darling daddy is close by" he says as he rubs her back

The crew started to welcome passengers on board and Vicki oversaw the list cause Gopher and Julie were going to see what cabin could work for their family cabin since they were going to be moving in together cause Gopher had no room for a crib so he took her to the honeymoon suite cause it wasn't booked that trip and he could lay with her. He returned when she was asleep like an angel on the bed surrounded by pillows just in case she rolled

(Later)

Gopher and Julie went to check on Gretel and she was still asleep and on her back and she didn't roll at all

"She looks like an angel from this view" Julie says cause she was going to see where her things could go

"I know oh it's okay Gretel I am right here next to you" Gopher says as she started to whimper

Gopher was going to take her to his cabin and shower with her cause that might help her sleep better and he was going to get his things as well

(Captain's cabin)

"Well you did really good for your first boarding" the captain says as he brought Marisol in the room so she could sleep better cause he kept her close as he got the ship out of the harbor

Marisol whimpered as she was moved from her carrier to her bassinet cause she hated it

"It's okay I'm going to be close to you okay Marisol I've got to do paperwork and all that stuff I promise I will hold you" he says as he was going to tuck her in for the time being

Soon Vicki comes in to do her studies as well cause she might need help with a math problem, and she still had to take care of her doll

"Thanks Vicki I could use the company especially right now" he says as he looks at Marisol who was starting to settle down

"The sprinkler system went off in my room so my room is flooded as well" she says as she was going to get more of her belongings

"Oh great" he says as he picks up Marisol cause she started to get cranky all of a sudden

(Honeymoon suite)

Gopher and Julie were getting settled in with Gretel

"She sure is active" Gopher says as he was playing with her
