Gravity Falls Retcon 14
A few days after the Party at the Mystery Shack Pacifica invited Dipper Mabel and Wendy to join her and her family at the Pioneer Day festival. Due to Dipper not having access to Journal #3 he knew he couldn't recreate the adventure in finding the Northwest conspiracy to the letter, mostly cause he knew that Blubs and Durland would follow them if they spoke of it. So after the Northwests finished their photo shoots Pacifica took off her Pioneer costume and joined her friends.
"That was unbearable." Pacifica said dramatically hunched over holding herself up by her hands.
"Yeah it looked it... wanna have some fun?" Dipper asked.
"What kind?" Wendy asked.
"Let's get Blubs put in the Stockade." Dipper said.
"YES!" The Girls said in unison.
Dipper snuck up behind Blubs and spooked him, making him spit coffee out.
"What is this black potion? A witch! A witch!" Dipper accused followed by Pacifica Wendy and Mabel joining in the accusation.
The Crowd played along and locked Blubs in the Stockade for the day leaving Durland on his own and usual incompetent self.
"Alright complete freedom." Dipper said.
"So what do you want to do?" Mabel asked.
"Well it's Pioneer day. why not go check out the Museum?" Dipper offered.
"Aww what?! BOO! Lame." Mabel protested.
"You want food don't you?" Dipper asked not even skipping a beat.
"Yes I do." Mabel said cheerily.
"Welcome to 1863!" Toby Determined said greeting the group of teens.
"Not now Toby." Dipper said. "And how has that Tap Dancing career you've been working on going?"
"Not good at all..." Toby said defeated.
Toby left and walked into a barrel falling in and over. Mabel helped him out before giving him a hug and kissed the top of his head.
"He needed that." Mabel said returning to the group as Toby left feeling a bit better.
"Well what can we eat that hasn't been stewing in refuse?" Wendy asked.
"Hows about Johnny Cakes?" Pacifica suggested.
"Really?" Mabel asked.
"They're not half bad. I ate them all the time during Pioneer day as a kid." Pacifica explained.
After Mabel got her snack and was satisfied they headed to the Museum where they check out all sorts of stuff and Dipper stops at an abstract painting.
"Geez... makes you wonder huh?" Dipper asked.
"Yeah." Pacifica said turning her head before turning more and more until she had Mabel hold her legs in the air as she stood on her hands. "Wendy come down here and keep my boobs out of my face."
Wendy complied while giggling softly.
"That looks like one of the statues in the Graveyard." Pacifica said getting back on her feet.
"Really?" Dipper asked, surprised Pacifica noticed this before he could pretend to figure out the mystery he himself experienced before. "Should we go?"
"I'm down for Cemetery treking." Wendy said.
"Sounds like fun." Mabel said.
The four teens went to the Cemetery looking for the matching statue and tried to figure out what it's significance was.
"Is it pointing to something?" Pacifica asked.
"Is it symbolizing the drive to move forward?" Wendy postulated.
"Maybe it's letting some know they can pick it's nose with its finger?" Dipper said chuckling before getting his nose on it and triggering the mechanism.
"WHOA!" The Girls awed in... awe.
The Statue moved revealing a secret tunnel. Inside the teens found all sorts of government files and artifacts.
"Whoa! George Washingtons actual wooden teeth." Wendy pointed out.
"Abraham Lincoln had a hand under his hat?" Pacifica said pointing to a painting.
"Benjamin Franklin was actually Benjamina Franklin?" Mabel said confused.
"But what I learned in history class was that Franklin used to be a world class womanizer." Wendy said.
Both Pacifica and Wendy looked at each other smirking before breaking out in laughter.
"What is this?" Dipper said, knowing full well what it was. "The truth about Gravity Falls."
Dipper reads aloud the truth about Gravity Falls and how Nathaniel Northwest wasn't the true founder, but Quentin Tremblay.
"I always felt something was weird about our family." Pacifica said sounding disappointed.
"According to the documents Nathaniel Northwest was one of Quentins closer associates and was declared the coverup founder after Tremblay ran for office of President and won by a landslide. A literal Landslide killed his opponent leaving him unscathed and unopposed. He started making outrageous demands and made infants into Supreme Court Justices. Apparently the Government managed to force him to flee the white house and left a dummy president before he founded the town and the government covered it up when he vanished." Dipper said fudging a little bit.
"So history was wrong?" Wendy asked.
"No, history is written by the winners, and apparently anyone who can document things credibly." Dipper explained. "It says here that Tremblay encased himself in peanut brittle thinking it had life extending properties." Dipper said before Wendy shined her flashlight behind Dipper revealing the time frozen Tremblay scaring the teens.
"He really did it." Pacifica said.
"You think he's alive?" Mabel asked.
"No I don't think so." Dipper said, knowing what freeing the loon would bring them. "Gravity Falls is a weird place but he's gotta be dead under all of that. Let's just let him rest in peace."
The girls agreed before taking a bunch of the various artifacts and antiques.
"Stan is gonna have a field day with this stuff." Dipper said as they left and repositioned the finger to close the tunnel.
"Dipper... do you want to get Dinner tonight? The Four of us?" Pacifica offered.
"Girls?" Dipper asked.
Wendy and Mabel smile and nod.
"Dinner it is." Dipper said.
"Cool." Pacifica said happy with what the day brought.
Later that night Dipper Pacifica Mabel and Wendy were covered in blankets and holding hot chocolate as the restaurant they tried having Dinner at was on fire and being put out by the Fire Department. All 4 were very much on edge.
"I don't even know what the hell happened." Dipper said confused.
"That Chicken was running around... on fire." Mabel said.
"And the wait staff just made things worse." Wendy said.
"The squid... why did the squid attack the maître d'?" Pacifica ask.
The sounds of the emergency responders putting the fire out filled the night air.
