Epilogue

It was no coincidence that Ezra had ended up with the Ghost crew that day. No matter where they had been or what they had been doing at the time, he'd have still ended up with them that day. They'd landed on Lothal for a reason.

Yes, the Force sure worked in mysterious ways. Ways that didn't always make sense at the time, but ways that would accomplish its will nonetheless.

There were no Jedi left in the galaxy and very few Force-Sensitive ones. Even fewer who actually knew about the Force.

That was why it had been crucial for Ezra to meet Kanan and for Kanan to agree train him.

The galaxy needed more Jedi to keep the order and the peace and the balance. To fight for those who could not fight for themselves. To keep the Force alive and teach its ways to others. Because where would the universe itself be without this oh-so mysterious "Force" as some liked to call it?

But, of course, where there is the Light shining down on people and making their paths clearer, there is also Darkness. That is just the way things are. Even a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, there is Darkness.

That was certainly true in Ezra's case. That was why he needed Kanan to help him get rid of it.

But not everything is meant to be.

We may never know the reason or the consequences of the ex-Jedi's death or his Padawan's turn to the Dark Side and, later, his disappearance. We may never know why the Force pushed them together and allowed such a deep bond to take place only to destroy it later on. We'll never fully understand the Force or its mysterious ways.

But we do know that it always finds a way. Always has a reason. Always has a plan to put into action. And we will never have full control over that.

Just like how a blonde-haired boy from Tatooine has no control over fate pushing him towards two droids he's about to buy...

Fate always finds a way.
