Chapter 14- From Me to You

The last day of school came quickly and everyone was all excited to head back home. Even though James was going home to his parents not being home he was still excited to head back home. James decide that since it was only going to be Sirius and him that they were going to move into a small cottage in Godric's Hollow that his family owned. They decided that there was no reason to be in a big mansion since it was only the two of them so they decided to downsize and they also invited Peter and Remus to stay with them over the summer.

Lily was split between her excitement on going home as she really wanted to see her parents and spend the summer with them but, she was also very sad that she was going to be away from James for the entire summer. She also wasn't excited to go home because her sister was going to be there and ever since she found out that she was a wizard her sister was extremely mean to her. One of Lily's fears about the summer was since James was moving that he would find another girl and run after her she knew that this was probably a long shot but, she was still afraid it might happen.

The marauders all got on the Hogwarts express and found a compartment a little bit after Lily, Mary, and Marlene all came in and they all started talking about their summers and the plans they had. James noticed that Lily was very quiet on the train ride and that she wasn't herself. At the end of the train ride James pulled Lily to the side to talk to her.

"Lily are you ok?" James asked with concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Lily said quietly

"Lily you know that you can't lie to me I know there's something on your mind." James said.

"It's ok James I'm fine." Lily told him. James just looked at Lily with a knowing eye and she caved. "I'm just scared that you're moving and that you're going to find another girl and forget about me."

"Lily it's only going to be for two months and how could I forget you I chased after you for 6 years I won't forget you I promise. James promised to Lily.

"Promise that you will write me every day?" Lily asked James

"I Promise" James said as he kissed Lily and then started to sing.

As he finished singing Lily threw her arms around him and kissed him. The train came to a halt at king's cross station and the students departed.

"promise that you'll write to me every day?" Lily asked James.

"I promise I'll send you a letter everyday with love from me to you." James told Lily as James kissed her and then let Lily go find her parents.
