The war is lost. The only living member of Order, Hermione is send back in time by Draco where the war has just started and Lily is pregnant. She is adamant on changing the future for better and find a place for herself in the time when she is already the mate of a certain werewolf.

A/N: Hello everyone. This is not a chapter update but a message to all those who have stuck with this story for all this while and take a few minutes out of their precious time everyday to read. Those who read everyday know I usually update the chapters around this hour of the day. However, there won't be any chapter update today, since I am not in hold of my device in which my next few chapters are stored. I apologize for having caused any disappointment in anyone. The next chapter i.e. Chapter 26 will be posted in about 24 hours. My sincere apologies.

Hello. Thank you for reading and reviewing. I must mention beforehand that Nagini in this story is not a horcrux. And we all know that Voldemort had several layer of defence to protect his horcruxes. The locket was stored in multiple layers and so were the diary and cup. they had protection of an ancient manor, death eater, Gringotts and the Gemino spell. So it would be foolish to believe that The Dark Lord would trust his horcrux with only just a curse. Now Hermione wasn't there to get the ring and therefore we have no idea if there was any other sort of protection. That is why he used snakes as guard because it is easier for him to control them and difficult for others. There might be times when Voldemort couldn't check on them and would simply send his minions to check their well being. This was why , he made the snakes not attack anyone with his magical signature on them, in this case the dark mark.

Yes Hermione could have died but no she wasn't going to end dead. Not in such a predictable manner. She is supposed to know the normal attacking habits of Tom Riddle. After the quick death of Snape due to the attack by Nagini , one would expect her to carry the antidote to several poisons with her all the time while leaving the comfort of her home.

As for the golden light, you will read it in the next chapter. I hope there isn't any more confusions now and if there are feel free to ask. I am glad you are reading this. My apologies for not updating today.
