Somewhere in the galaxy _
Dark duplicate Riot arrived at the place of meeting, where he was faced with the Sith lords : Sidious and Tyrannus.
He knew them very well from the memories of his 'other' self. He felt pity for the latter as he knew what is coming to him. But right now, he focuses on the conversation ahead.
Sidious: Time for some introduction. I am Darth Sidious, dark Lord of deceit.
Dooku: Darth Tyrannus, dark lord of wrath.
Riot: Yes I'm aware who you are. My name is Vincent Riot, dark duplicate as you know 'Chancellor'.
Doors narrowed his eyes at the last words. He slowly looked at his master who wasn't so surprised however.
Sidious: Ah yes your arrival was unexpecting. I nearly thought you were a new ally of the foolish jedi and poor gems and was on the verge of orchestrating another tragic incident.
Riot: I believe your words. But I am no enemy to you or the separatists. I merely wanna be a part of the future empire if I can that is.
Dooku: And what would offer in return?
Riot: My services of course. Plus I would like to give some assistance in preparing your empire for the battle against the diamond authority. Millenia ago they were forced out of the galaxy but now that the gems came here, it is only a matter of time before they attract some unwanted attention. The Republic may be good in it's military power in your empirical era but it won't be enough since I don't believe you would leave the jedi in it.
The two sith lords dwelved deep on that and came to their decision
Sidious: Very well. Lord Tyrannus assign this soldier to his first mission.
Dooku: Yes my master. Your first mission is to retrieve the jedaii holocron from the jedi temple library. It contains the information about the ancient gem empire. We planned to do so ourselves when time is right. However this will be your test to prove your valor to us.
Riot: Good. Consider it done since I know just the right bounty hunter to help me with infiltration. The holocran will be retrieved in a few weeks. I'll be on my way now.
Riot made his way to the ship that flied off to the space.
Dooku: What are your thoughts on this master?
Sidious: The young man doesn't matter as long as he stays in line. And if not... then he will die.
2 weeks later
After days of searching, the dark soldier found the one he was looking for.
Boba Fett, the cloned son of Jango Fett, one of the most skilled jedi killers he knew of. Alongside other bounty hunters like Aurra Sing, Castas and Bossk.
They drew their weapons
Aurra: looking for some trouble pal?
Riot: Why no. I simply came here to ask for your help bounty hunters.
Boba: That depends on the price.
Riot smiled and took the credits out of his bag. "Would these many credits do? It wasn't easy to Rob the banks and then search the galaxy for the son of Jango Fett and his team of mercenaries. So..."
He tossed the bag to Castas who checked in and nodded to the rest.
Boba: Hmm what do you want us to do?
Riot: I need you and me to infiltrate the jedi temple and get the valuable holocran. I will come with you in case something goes awry.
Aurra: Then what are we waiting for? It will feel good to humiliate the jedi security for sure.
Meanwhile on Coruscant
Pearl, who arrived from Mandalore's political catastrophe, decided to use her free time to see around the temple. She wasn't really adamant on how the diamonds that nearly crushed their rebellion could've lost to organic life even less. She didn't exactly grasp the concept of the mystocal Force energy. She went to the library to find anything that can let a light on this.
Jocasta: Do you seek something Pearl?
Pearl: I wanna learn about your powers. About this Force of yours and this is the only place I can go to do so.
Otar: Very true.
The two turned to see Jedi master Mace Windu and the newly appeared Otar approaching them.
Mace: We didn't had a chance or time to discuss the our differences properly. We will take it from here Master Nu.
Jocasta nodded and went her way, leaving the three.
Otar: I guess my explanation didn't do huh?
Pearl: I just can't something like that exists. I don't understand your magic tricks
Mace: The Force is not a scientific discovery. It is more about the spiritual aspect within every living being.
Pearl: Well Master Windu we aren't regular beings.
Mace: That may be the case however we tried to feel your presence in the force and it is strong...
Pearl: Our forms are formed of light that resonates from our gemstones.
Otar: Like I said Pearl, the Force is everywhere. Especially in the light. Ouh by the way I wanna ask, do you know who created-
Before Otar could finish, he accidentally dropped a nearby small box which he picked up.
Otar: Ah sorry
But then it opened and what Pearl saw wasn't pleasant at all as she hand-covered her mouth.
Pearl: I-is that a gem shard?! WHY IS IT HERE?!
Otar: I-I don't know.
Mace: A gem shard? This is a red kyber crystal which the sith used for their lightsabers.
Pearl was shocked as she looked to Master Windu's own lightsaber on his belt.
Pearl: A-are there more of these crystals?
Otar: Well every jedi here has one...in their...sabers...
Mace: What is wrong?
Otar: I hear some footsteps coming this way. Wait a minute
Otar then walked in front of the entrance door where he saw 5 figures who covered in robes but before he could do anything, Riot quickly threw a mini teleporter device on him that send Otar far away from the temple.
Mace and Pearl were surprised and drew their weapons(though this time Pearl wasn't feeling well to Mace's weapon).
Riot: Me and Boba will take Windu. The gem is on you three.
Riot ran straight towards the jedi who deflected Boba's blasts but then blocked the fist from Riot who used the force to try push Windu away but Mace answered with his own force push which forced them away.
Castas, Bossk and Aurra went for Pearl who dealt well with two lizards. She had trouble with Aurra though who was very quick.
Boba continued to to fire on Mace in revenge for his dead father.
Boba: You killed my father Jango and you're gonna pay for this! I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!
Mace managed to deflect the blasts and then used the Force to pull Boba forward " Hmm well you will have to. I did what I had to"
Aurra saw this and joined in against Windu who was quick enough to slice off her blaster just in time.
Riot used this chance and found the required holocron.
Jocasta: And where would take that?
Riot: Find out yourself Ms Nu.
Knowing that the other jedi will soon arrive, he drops the book archives on the librarian and uses his powers combined with force speed to throw lightning on the two and leave the temple with bounty hunters using the teleport again.
Aurra: What?! What the stars happened?
Riot: I used my device to take us out of the temple. Good to have business with you but now you should get out of here. I will be on my way too. I will find you again if your services are needed.
Boba: Give the count my regards.
Riot: I'll make sure to remember that Fett.
Gems and the council arrived in the library which was in shambles.
Rose : What happened here? *
They then see master windu incapacitated and pearls gem lying on the floor Pearl
Rose: Master Windu?Pearl?!
Jocasta: *coughs* We were attacked. Some bounty hunters crawled in yet again and stole the holocron. Turned my library upside down.
Otar: Guys I got transfered away. Arrived as fast as I could. Huh but I guess I'm too late.
Yoda: Worry later about this we will. For now these two need our help.
