STORY/ SCENARIO: A song set to the ballad instrumental version of Hikari's - i.e. Dawn's - Theme, which appears in the English dub of the anime in Season 10 Episode 11 - Mounting a Coordinator Assault! - amongst others.
VARIATIONS: Some fairly significant changes here:
- I have replaced the music in bars 13-20 (As stars and...me and you) with a repeat of the music in bars 5-12 (Watch the horizon...day is born).
- On the first playing of this melody, the note at the start of bar 12 falls to a G instead of rising to a D as per the original. On the second playing, a D is played as normal and then the oboe immediately comes in midway through the second beat of bar 20.
- The third 'section' of each verse (Each glorious ray...early and bright!) is set to the oboe part which occupies bars 20-29. Note that in bars 25-27 where the same short section of melody (Till tomorrow) is played three times, the middle of the three playings is instrumental only.
There are a few other minor rhythmical variations which I will not describe in detail. Have fun figuring it all out!
