The Obstacle Course
The next day, everyone was at the obstacle course when Draco was standing in a box. He was talking about the obstacle course when Blaise was leaning against a tree with Ron right by him. He started to make fun of the obstacle course.
Draco: These are the last contestants for the obstacle course.
Blaise: They call this an obstacle course? It doesn't even have a snake pit.
Ron then pointed at a snake behind Blaise and Blaise had fainted. Draco is now calling the names of the contestants.
Draco: Last year's champion, Rock Chutney.
Everyone was then cheering at a man with long, brown hair, stepping up to the starting line. Draco then started announcing the next contestant.
Draco: And a new entry this year: Pansy.
Pansy then began walking to the starting line and started talking to Rock.
Pansy: Let me apologize ahead of time before soundly defeating you.
That made Rock growl at her and Hermione and the others were very worried of Pansy.
Hermione: I was looking forward to this… but the Little Lady's so dumb. I sort of feel sorry for her.
Luna: Me too. And I wish we could spare her the shame.
That got Astoria thinking and went behind the crowd who were behind Pansy and Rock. She then started mimicking Pansy's voice to taunt Rock which made Pansy very nervous.
Draco: Runners, to your mark.
Astoria As Pansy: Rock, my friend, you are a half-wit.
Rock then growled at her and she smiled and waved nervously at him. Astoria is still taunting Rock when Pansy is trying to tell him that it wasn't her.
Astoria As Pansy: In fact, it hurts me to know that you are so very stupid.
Pansy: It's not me. It's not me.
Draco: Set.
Astoria As Pansy: In addition to all this…
Pansy: Oh, no.
Astoria As Pansy: … you run like a wimp.
Draco: Go!
Pansy then ran very fast with Rock right after her.
Rock: I'll get you.
They jumped over a net, climbed up to the tower and zipped down the zip-line. They also jumped over some hurdles, swung on a rope and walked on a trapeze wire. Rock had jumped in front of Pansy and tried to tackle her but she moved out of the way. She made it to the finish line and Rock fell in the mud, completely knocked out. Once Pansy made it to the finish line, Draco had announced that she was the winner.
Draco: A new record! Pansy is Princess for a day!
Pansy was shocked when she heard that and she looked around to see everyone was cheering. Hermione and Luna were looking at Astoria, who was whistling innocently. Draco then gave her the scepter, cape and crown which really covered her whole body.
Pansy: Now you see. I am a princess. I am a princess.
With the obstacle course done, everybody then started heading over to the talent show, where Snape and Narcissa are now performing.
