There was a shot sound. They all went silent. Then Bly and Jesse both fell to the ground it was Cody that had shot them. Rex and the bad batch all looked up at him, "Go." He said. Rex nodded and headed off with the other troops
Maul continued to battle Obi wan, Maul hit him with a strike to keep him off his balance then kick him down letting him fall down the Coruscant underworld. Maul then made his way to Ahsoka who was dealing with her former master. Ahsoka's and Vader's lightsabers clashed together, Ahsoka was losing she was being overpowered so Maul stepped in and pushed Vader back. Ahsoka still not wanting to kill him used the force to grab a bunch of metal from the wall, "I'm sorry." She said and use the metal to trap him in the corner almost completely crushing him
"Let's go." Maul said. Ahsoka looked back at the metal she buried her master in and followed Maul to Sidious office. On their way they ran into someone, it was Padme. Padme had been one of Ahsoka's best friends if not that then a mother to her.
Padme stepped to the side and said. "Take the left elevator to the bottom floor, Sidious's office will be on your third right."
Ahsoka looked at her questionably, "Why are you helping us?" She asked
"Because I know how much this galaxy has suffered because of him." Padme answered, "You best hurry."
Maul and Ahsoka started running to the left elevator, but then Ahsoka turned her head to look at Padme, "Thank you." She said then her and Maul were off
They took the left elevator and hit bottom floor, "This is it." Ahsoka said to break the silence
"Indeed."
"What exactly do we do after this?"
"Try to convince your masters that Sidious was evil and bring peace to the galaxy. That's what you wanted."
"Yes it is what I want but that's not what I meant. I meant what do you plan to do when this is all over?"
Maul was silent for a minute "Go back home and be with the night brothers I don't have an intention to rule the galaxy anymore. What do you plan to do?"
"To tell you the truth I'm not sure I asked you to get an idea. When I was a Jedi I thought that after the war I would complete my training and become a Jedi knight but I left the order."
"So why not go back?"
"Leaving may have taken away my ranks but it also granted me some freedom I don't have to live by the code anymore nor obey the council I was able to help people without the council telling me to stop or to not help them. So I guess after all of this is over I'll just do what I do best help people."
They got to the bottom floor and Maul stopped Ahsoka before they headed out "Listen when we face down Sidious do not underestimate him nor try to take him alone." Ahsoka nodded and they walked on
