WWE SmackDown was live at the America West Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Kicking off SmackDown was Matt hardy. Matt comes out and brags about beating the Undertaker for a second time! This brings out the Undertaker to the right and business is about to pick up! Undertaker hits the ring like a madman attacking Matt Hardy with his cast! Eventually Matt Hardy battles back and a crew of officials tries to break up the brawl..
Undertaker takes the advantage once again and busts Matt open! Matt hits Undertaker with a steel chair but it only pisses Taker off more! Undertaker tries to punch Matt, who ducks, and Taker punches the ringpost with his injured hand! A bloody Matt Hardy escapes and retreats backstage...
After the commerical we see Undertaker refusing medical assistance..
The first match of the night is Rikishi vs Eddie Guerrero w/Chavo. Late in the match, Rikishi sets up for the stinkface but Chavo interfers.. Rikishi ends up giving BOTH Guerreros a double stinkface! Eddy rolls out of the ring and Chavo is stalked by Rikishi.. Eddy gets a chair and comes in the ring but Rikishi knocks him down.. The next match is a tag team match in the WWE Tag Team Title tournament. It's Billy Kidman & John Cena vs Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit. Angle & Benoit yell at eachother for most of the match. Eventually the begin to fall apart as they accidentally hit eachother.. At one point, Kidman hits the shooting star press and nearly gets a pinfall, but Angle pulls him out.. A few minutes later, Kidman hits a Kid Crusher on Benoit and gets ANOTHER near fall..
Angle comes in and gives Kidman an angleslam and locks him in the anklelock! Cena comes in and breaks that up. Benoit runs in and puts the crippler crossface on Kidman, causing him to tap out! Angle & Benoit go nose to nose after the match but do not come to blows..
After the break, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, an an attractive mystery woman come to the ring. Heyman questions why Undertaker would want to get into a Hell in the Cell match with a broken hand?! Heyman questions what kind of a man the Undertaker really is!? Heyman introduces 'Tracy', who Heyman claims knows what kind of a man Undertaker is..
Tracy starts to talk but the Undertaker's music hits and out comes Undertaker, ready to fight again! Heyman & Lesnar retreat the ring as Taker enters and almost hits Tracy! Tracy says that Taker has slept with her and lied to her for three months! Tracy says she just found out that he's married and having a baby!
Tracy says she promised that she would never take their relationship public.. Tracy addresses Sara, saying she is sorry that she had to find out about her this way.. Tracy leaves the ring as Heyman & Lesnar celebrate on the stage.
Backstage, Stephanie runs into the trio who are looking to leave. Stephanie asks where the trio is going..
Heyman says that they are leaving the arena. Stephanie says that Lesnar has a match tonight, then informs the WWE Champion that he will replace Jamie Noble as Tajiri's tag team partner tonight. Heyman puts up a fight but Stephanie demands Brock compete. Stephanie bans Undertaker from ringside during that match.. Stephanie says that if Undertaker interferes, then he will lose his title shot at No Mercy..
In the next match, it's Billy Gunn w/Chuck vs DVon w/Farooq. Late in the match, Gunn goes for the famasser, but Ron Simmons trips him.. Chuck superkicks Simmons taking him out of the equation. Billy hits the famasser anyway and pins DVon to pick up the win!
Backstage, the Undertaker is on the phone to his wife, Sera. He pleads with her, saying Heyman is screwing with him.
Elsewhere backstage, Chavo Guerrero is running around yelling for Benoit. Chavo finds Benoit and says that Kurt Angle just attacked him.. Chavo leads Benoit to a broom closet, where Benoit enters and Chavo closes the door behind..

In another part of the backstage, Torrie says that she feels weird about her father seeing her in her ligerie tonight.. Torrie asks her father not to watch the ligerie showdown and he agrees. Next up is the Bladewolf & Edge against the team of Brock Lesnar and Tajiri.
Tajiri's theme hits and out he comes to the ring for this tag team matchup. He enters the ring just as Brock Lesnar's theme hits and out comes the WWE Champion who heads to the ring followed by Paul Heyman. Lesnar enters the ring while Heyman stays outside.

Down with the Sickness plays to a loud pop and out comes the Bladewolf who walks down the ramp with his eyes on Lesnar, not forgetting the last time the two fought each other which was months ago at Backlash.
Bladewolf stops at the end of the ramp and takes off his coat as Edge's theme hits and out he comes to a pop from the fans, heading down the ramp towards the ring.
"This will be the first time we see Edge and Bladewolf team together." Cole said.
"i like this team, i think they are future WWE Tag Team Champions." Tazz nodded.
Bladewolf and Edge enter the ring and stare at their opponents as Edge's theme dies down and the referee calls for the bell.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Bladewolf gets out onto the ring apron as Edge stares down Lesnar who stares back as these two men will start the match off for their teams. The two circle one another, Edge not taking his eyes off the WWE Champion, knowing how dangerous he is.
They lock up but Lesnar, with his strength and power, shoves Edge to the mat but Edge got to his feet quickly as Lesnar smirks at him, being cocky and arrogant which can be a superstar's downfall but Lesnar wasn't letting it be that.
They lock up again but Lesnar shoves him back which doesn't faze Edge as he gets to his feet. They do a third collar and elbow tie up and this time Edge locks in a headlock on the WWE Champion.
"Edge with a headlock here." Cole said before Lesnar shoves Edge into the ropes, Edge bounces off and comes right into a clothesline from Lesnar. "And Lesnar with such power."
Lesnar goes for a elbow drop but Edge rolls out the way and gets to his feet. Lesnar charges at Edge who trips him up, making sure to not be dominated by Lesnar who was more dangerous when he was in control of the match. Edge taunts Lesnar who runs at him but Edge pulls the rope down and Lesnar goes flying over the top rope and down to the outside.
"And Brock Lesnar, going over the top rope thanks to Edge!" Cole said before seeing the angry look on Lesnar's face. "I don't think Lesnar's happy about that."
"No sir." Tazz shakes his head in agreement with Cole.
Lesnar paces outside the ring as Heyman tries to calm him down or give him a pep talk but Lesnar kicks the steel steps in anger as he glares at Edge. Lesnar gets back into the ring and goes for a right but Edge ducks it and lays in a few rights that seem to barely faze the WWE Champion who drives his knee into the gut of Edge, then brings his left forearm down onto Edge's back, then Irish whips him off the ropes but doesn't see Bladewolf tag himself in as Edge ducks Lesnar's attack and goes for a crossbody but Lesnar caught him.
Lesnar turned around...INTO A FLYING CLOTHESLINE FROM BLADEWOLF!
"What a flying clothesline!" Cole exclaimed. "Bladewolf taking down the Champ!"
Bladewolf backs off as Lesnar gets to his feet and the crowd cheers as the two former rivals stare each other down before they lock up and Lesnar tries overpowering the Bladewolf who fights back before he drive shis knee into Lesnar's stomach, then quickly boots him in the gut...AND NAILS A DDT ON THE WWE CHAMPION! Bladewolf gets to his feet, picks Lesnar up and whips him off the ropes but Lesnar takes the Bladewolf down with a clothesline.
Lesnar tags in Tajiri who comes in and grabs Bladewolf, trying to bring him to his feet. Bladewolf gets to a knee and Tajiri rebounds off the ropes...ONLY TO BE MET WITH A SPEAR!
"What a spear!" Cole said.
"That will knock the wind right out of you." Tazz chuckles.
Bladewolf flips his hair back and gets to his feet before he grabs Tajiri from behind and hits a German Suplex, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another.
"Bladewolf with multiple German Suplexes!" Tazz said. "Those hurt, I've felt German Suplexes before."
Bladewolf picks Tajiri up...AND TOSSES HIM INTO BROCK LESNAR!
"Oof!" Cole and Tazz exclaimed.
Lesnar falls to the ground while Bladewolf quickly lifts Tajiri up...AND HITS THE WOLF'S HOWL! HE HOOKS THE LEGS! ONE! TWO! THREE! EDGE AND BLADEWOLF WIN!

Down with the Sickness hits as Bladewolf gets to his feet. Lesnar didn't seem bothered as he just grabs his title from Heyman and leaves with his agent following him. Edge and Bladewolf fist bump, they were close to the WWE Tag Team Titles.
And that's it for this chapter. Bladewolf takes Mysterio's place as Edge's partner in the WWE Tag Team Title torunament. I'm doing this because I have nothing else for Bladewolf to do so o thought he and Edge can team up.
