Laxus brought her home and put her down on the couch. He went to turn on the lights and returned to her. Kneeling in front of her he touched her hand. "Lucy please look at me. I know you are sad and I'm sorry, but we need to get some food, or we won't be help to anyone soon." She nodded as he led her to the kitchen. "Shit after seven years I doubt anything is going to be good." He opened the fridge to see it was empty save for a few items that wouldn't have gone bad in the time they were gone. "I'll go get some eggs, so we can make pancakes," she mumbled and turned to leave.
Laxus just watched her leave as she closed the door. He knew that there was nothing that he could do but, let her leave. As Lucy headed towards the town, she decided to stop by the canal river in Magnolia. Sitting on the water's edge she pulled out her keys and looked at them all. How she missed them. Her last thoughts as Aconologia attacked were on Laxus and her spirits. Who would have them after her and that was if they were found. Raising an eyebrow, she explained that Aquarius came through her gate and splashed her with water. Laxus laughed and took the eggs while telling Lucy to go dry off. "You know Lucy the last time you saw me in just a towel you ran to the guild and took Natsu on a job for ten days." Lucy laughed as he glared at her. "I guess I should explain that. I was tired and confused from the previous night that when I saw you, I was so embarrassed I didn't want to face you and the only way to not face you was to go on a job. So, I went to the guild and picked a job that would guarantee I was gone for a few days. Sorry about that, but I think back then I was trying to deny I was starting to have feelings for you." As she explained she saw Laxus smirking. "So, the fairy liked her captor." "It's not like that and you know it Laxus!" Laughing he took her hand and brought her back upstairs to bed. "Lucy, we have a lot to catch up on tomorrow so we should probably get some rest." Nodding she curled up against him as he wrapped his arms around her.
