It was the day of the christmas party, I was standing in front of my closet deciding what to wear, My sister was sitting on my bed trying to help me decide what to wear

"How bout this?" I asked her while holding up a hoodie combination

"That's not bad but it won't impress anyone" she said

I looked down at the dress and a realization hit me

"How about this" I said while pulling out some band merchandise and my favourite pair of jeans

"Boy, what do you even need me here for then" she said while giving me a pout

"Oh, I need you here to be taken care of" I said turning back to my dresser

"BAKA!" she said while scrolling through her phone

"Now if you don't mind, I have to get ready" I told her with a hint of sarcasm in my voice

"Ah gotcha" she said finger gunning her way out of my room

I quickly put on an architect's shirt and hoodie which I bought last year and never had a chance to wear my favorite jeans.

"Clothes look quite good" I thought to myself "Let's have one final look at the gifts"

I had written short notes for each of them on the casing of the In-ears along with a small sweet hamper inside each box

"Ok I am ready" I told my sister exiting my room with the bag "So, how do I look?"

"Damn Akhiko, you look amazing" she said whistling "There is no way Yui wouldn't like you more than she already does"

"She will?" I asked a bit unsure

"Of course she will, now take this" she said giving me a bag

"What's in this bag" I asked

"These are some snacks I made, I thought my friends from college would be coming but they invited me for a party downtown" she said

"When will you be back?" I asked her

"Probably tomorrow morning, get some dinner from outside ok?" she said ruffling my hair

"Don't stay out too late" I said exiting out of the door

I took a bit of a detour as I had left quite a considerable time before the party would actually start. After a walk of about 45 minutes I reached the Hirasawa residence, I was extremely nervous knocking on the door. As I knocked on the door I heard footsteps echoing down the hall

"Is there anyone there?" asked a voice which I presumed was Ui's

"It's Kawamura" I replied

"Oh" she said while opening the door "Welcome Kawamura, you are quite early"

"Yea sorry I didn't pay attention to the time" I said sheepishly "It's ok" she said while placing a pair of guest slippers "Come on in"

"Here, my sister sent this" I said while giving her the bag of snacks

"What are these?" she asked

"My sister made some of her special snacks and wanted me to take some" I said

"This is some great help, I still hadn't finished cooking" she said grimacing

"Want me to help?" I said offering my help

"If you want to then sure" she said happily

We walked into the kitchen and I saw that there were a spread of dishes on the counter which were ready and some dishes which were still to be cooked

"What do you need me to do" I asked

"Can you make a hot and cold beverage" Yui asked handing me a apron

"Sure what did you have in mind?" I asked putting on the apron

"For hot drinks you can use the coffee, chocolate powder and other supplies" she said while taking out the supplies "And for cold drinks there are some drinks in the fridge you can see what you can do with them"

"Hmm I can prepare some killer coffee with this" I thought as I started working on the drinks

After half an hour the drinks both cold and hot were ready

"Hey Ui, can you give these two a try and tell me how they are?" I asked passing her two sample cups

"These are amazing" she said while wiping off the froth from her lips"Oh crap they are gonna be here soon"

"Here I'll help" I said as I took the food to the centre table and at that moment Yui walked in

"Hey Yui" I said acknowledging her

"Hey Kawamura-san" she said "You were helping Ui?"

"Yea I made the drinks, don't touch them until everyone comes" I told her

"Yes sir" she said while saluting

At that moment I heard a ring on the bell

"Ah that must the others" said Yui and Ui as they went to get the door

I heard small conversation downstairs as they were coming up

"Hey guys" I said as I set down the final plate of food

"Hey Kawamura you got here early" Ritsu said smirking

"Shut it Ritsu" Mio said as she smacked her on the head

We all sat down and began conversing stories and had a small demonstration of our talents

The time to exchange gifts had soon come close

"Before you guys start exchanging gifts I made something for the band guys" I said

"Oooh what is it" asked all of them in unison

"Here have a look" I said passing each of them their respective boxes "Open it up now"

They all opened the boxes and started reading the notes on the small letter I made, I just closed my eyes and busked in the comfortable silence. After a while I heard some people sniffling

"Hey what's wrong" I asked panicking

"Nothing, I'm just happy you think that way of us" said Mugi wiping a tear

"How much time and money did it take you to make these for each of us?" Mio asked "Also how did you do this"

"It took me a week to make one of these, and it didn't cost me much to make these" I said

"Ooh" said Mugi "How can we repay you"

"You can repay me by just having fun playing music together wearing these" I said

We continued exchanging gifts and having a fun time, I received a pitch-shifter pedal from Mugi, and time quickly passed by as we kept conversing about our favorite stuff

After some time everyone had left home and I volunteered to help Ui with cleaning up the room

"Go talk to Yui" Ui said nudging me "I'll handle stuff here"

"I don't get a say do I" I said with a sigh "I'll go talk to her"

I decided to go up to her room each step I took was filled with dread. "Come on Akhiko, It's now or never" My mind told me as I knocked on the door

"Come on in" Yui said

"Hey Yui, do you have a moment to talk?" I asked

"Of course, what happened" she asked confused

"I need to confess something" I told her

"What do you need to confess" she asked confused

"I-I-I like you Yui" I managed to blurt out my face slowly reddining

"You like me? YOU LIKE ME!" Yui said in joy "I like you too Kawamura-san"

"W-W-W-W-Wait you do?HOLY SHIT YOU DO" I said jumping

At that moment Yui stopped me jumping and drew me closer and pulled me in for a kiss

"Yu-Yui?" I asked in confusion when her lips met mine it felt as if heavens gate had been open

"I hope that was ok Kawamura-san" Yui said blushing

"Hey that was amazing ,also from now onwards you can call me Akhiko" I told her

"OK Akhiko" she said giggling

"Congratulations guys" Ritsu said as she entered the room

"I thought you guys went home" I exclaimed in surprise

"Well, I may have had a hand in it" Ui said

'Anyways" Mio said taking the attention away from them "Congratulations you two"

"Thanks" both Me and Yui said at the same time

"Now what will you guys do?" asked Mugi

"I think now that we have started dating, I probably have to take Yui on a date" I said

"Well that is for later, we guys have to go now" Mio said looking at the time

"Yea see you later guys, my sister is probably waiting" I said running out of the house

"GAHHHH, I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND" I screamed out "YESSSSSSSSS"

I could tell that the next year would be amazing
