Sorry it took so long to post. School and work has gotten busy. Anyways, enjoy!

Rexy stomps through Main Street, her beady eyes searching the streets for prey. Sammy and Darius peak out at her from underneath a table. The two nod at each other and head to their positions. Darius heads to the power box and Sammy quietly picks up her rifle.

Darius turns on the power box switch and all the working lights turn on. Jurassic World's wooden pyramid lights up and building fixtures illuminate the T-rex. Darius flicks the lights on and off, trying to confuse the dino. Rexy turns around roars. "Now, Sammy!" Darius shouts.

Sammy shoots off a round at the predator. The T-rex turns around, very irritated at this nuisance. With a terrifying roar, she begins to chase after the human. Sammy darts in between two demolished buildings as the predator closes in.

"Over here!" Darius shouts, setting a flare gun ablaze. The T-rex turns to the light, having lost Sammy. Darius's eyes widen as he runs down the street and hides in another alley.

Sammy pops out on the other side of the street and shoots at the T-rex. The two kids play this game of Hide-n-seek with Rexy, slowly leading her to the Mosasaurus lagoon.

Rexy roars as Darius darts behind a building. She begins to understand what they were doing and immediately heads for Sammy. The Texan shrieks and darts into the empty food stand. She slips on the broken glass and scrambles backwards as Rexy attempts to eat her.

"Ben!" Darius shouts.

The T-rex pulls her snout out of the building to see Ben and Bumpy barreling towards her. The Ankylosaurus rams into the predator, knocking her towards the Mosasaurus paddock. Rexy shakes her head and rights herself, roaring at the now adult Ankylosaurus.

Ben yells at the T-rex along with Bumpy, and holds on tight as his ride swings around to club the predator in the face. Rexy roars and charges at Bumpy, knocking her back into the building Darius was standing by.

Darius yelps and runs out of the way. Unfortunately, the safest place for him was near the edge of the lagoon.

Bumpy rights herself, and with encouragement from Ben, rams into the dino. The T-rex is knocked backwards, and swings around. Her tail knocks into Sammy and sends her rolling across the concrete. With a shriek, she just barely grabs a hold of the edge.

Darius sprints over to her and grabs her hand just as she slips. He struggles to grab a hold of anything as he starts to slip down with her. "Hold on!" he shouts.

Sammy shrieks. "Why do I have to be so heavy?!" she shouts in anger.

"Why do I have to be so weak?!" Darius shouts back, groaning as he scrambles to stay on solid ground.

The Tyrannosaurus plants her foot down next to Darius and roars at Bumpy. Darius gets an idea and grabs a hold of her huge toe. "Hang on!" he tells Sammy.

Rexy lifts her foot and helps the two humas up as she charges. Darius lets go and the two roll on the concrete. He grabs her arm and drags her over to the building, out of the way of the dino fight. "You okay?" Darius asks.

Sammy's chin and chest was bleeding from being scraped on the concrete coming up. She reties her shirt strings around her neck. "Yee. You didn't see anything right?"

"Do I look traumatized to you?" Darius shrugs with a chuckle.

Meanwhile, Bumpy and Rexy were having it out. Ben tried to help his Ankylosaurus buddy steer the T-rex over the edge, but Rexy was smarter than that. She grabs Bumpy's neck and throws her towards the lagoon. The Ankylosaurus bellows as she catches herself with her front legs. Ben shrieks as he grabs onto her clubbed tail. Bumpy bleats; the only thing keeping her out of the lagoon was her stubby front legs, and she had no way of getting back up.

The T-rex moves in for the kill, but is stopped by Blue. The velociraptor and T-rex battle as Sammy and Darius run to their friends. "Ben!" Darius shouts. "Ben! Where are you?!"
"Hanging in there!" Ben shouts, trying to climb up her tail. His feet keep slipping.

"Keep hangin'!" Sammy exclaims. "We need some sort of rope."

"How 'bout the car winch?" Darius suggests, pointing to one of the park jeeps.

The two race over to the car and grab the winch. While Darius tries to figure out how to activate the winch, Sammy races over to Bumpy. She throws the line to Ben, who has righted himself on her tail. He grabs the winch, wraps it around the base of her tail, and throws it back to Sammy. The blonde camper almost loses his balance as Bumpy struggles. "It's okay, girl," he says, rubbing her back to soothe her. Sammy fastens the winch and gives Darius the thumbs up.

Rexy throws Blue with her jaws. The Texan throws herself to the ground as the raptor sails over her head. The T-rex stomps over threateningly. With a fearful whimper, Sammy grabs her rifle that she lost in the confusion and starts shooting at the predator. In her fear, it takes her three tries to hit the dino in the eye. The T-rex roars in anger and pain before Blue pounces on her.

Darius finally figures out how to activate the winch after messing around with the buttons and the line begins to tighten. As it tightens, the jeep begins to move forward. Darius whimpers as he activates the break. The break doesn't stop the jeep from moving forward as it pulls on Bumpy's back half.

Rexy stomps in front of the jeep and swings her tail around. The vehicle is thrown backwards, jerking Bumpy up onto the concrete and flipping her over. Ben is almost crushed by his Ankylosaurus companion and freezes in shock.

"Come on!" Sammy exclaims, pulling him to his feet. They push together, and after rocking back and forth, Bumpy flips over. The Ankylosaurus and Velociraptor battle Rexy while Sammy and Ben race to the jeep.

"Darius!" Ben exclaims, opening the door.

Darius groans, slowly moving his hands to his neck. He winces as he sits forward. "That hurt," he gasps.

"You probably got whiplash," Sammy says. Her and Ben grab his arms and help him out of the car. "Can you turn your head?"

Darius tries to look at her and winces. "It's very stiff."

"We'll treat it when we get to the Camp," Sammy says. "There's nothing we can do right now."

Ben pats Bumpy, getting her attention. "Let's go, girl," he says, mounting her. Sammy hoists Darius up and Ben helps him get situated before helping the Texan up. Sammy wraps her arms around Darius and holds onto Ben, trying to cushion her injured friend. "Come on, Bumpy!" Ben says, trying to guide her away from Rexy.

Bumpy bellows, and Ben becomes stern. "No, Bumpy!" The Ankylosaurus moans and turns to the jungles.

"Blue!" Darius calls out. "Blue!"

The raptor notices them leaving and begins to retreat in the opposite direction. Rexy looks between her opponent and the armored dinosaur about to flee, and gives up. The T-rex stomps off between the buildings.

"Let's get back to the Camp," Darius groans. "We're done living here. It's Tyrannosaurus territory now."

Kenji steers the motorcycle around trees and through the jungles, heading to their old Camp site as fast as he can. Yasmina and Brooklynn held on to him tightly; he was a bit reckless. "Could you be more careful?!" Brooklynn hollers as he swerves to avoid a tree.

"I've never actually driven one by myself, you know!" Kenji exclaims exasperatedly.

"Comforting!" Yasmina yelps as they have to duck under a low hanging branch.

They arrive fairly quickly at the Campsite, and Kenji slams on the breaks. The three clunk helmets as they jerk forward. "We're here," the alpha male sighs.

Brooklynn and Yasmina begin to create a small hole in the wreckage of the Camp. Kenji brandishes his rifle as the girls hide the backpacks of food and supplies in their little shelter. "We should head back for them," Brooklynn says worriedly.

"Darius said to head to the Camp," Kenji says.

"He didn't say we had to stay," Yasmina shrugs, taking off her boot and placing it with the supplies.

"Fair point," Kenji grins. "Annnnd what are you doing?"

"Sammy said my ankle was healed," Yasmina raises her eyebrows. "She recommended that I wear it for another day, but I think I'm fine."

Kenji sputters. "I'm not arguing with you over this. Fine, whatever. Let's head back now that we've dropped off the supplies."

The three get back onto their motorcycle and head back to Camp. After about five minutes, though, Kenji stops the motorcycle. "We should be there…"

"Where's the park?" Yasmina asks.

The three take off their helmets and look around. Brooklynn pulls out a map and tries to find them on it. "Unless we got off course, we should be there," she murmurs.

"Then we got off course, because I can't see any sign of the park," Kenji says.

"Hopelessly off course," Yasmina groans. "Is there nothing on the map that can tell us where we are?"

"All I can see is trees and brush," Brooklynn says. "Maybe if it was daytime, we could see farther. But without the motorcycle light, I can't even read the map!"

"How can we get to the park if we don't even know where we are?" Yasmina asks.

"Look," Kenji points. "It's a port into the underground tunnels. Can you use that?"

"Last time we went down there, we got trapped," Yasmina says.

"Yeah, but is that one marked on the map?" Kenji asks.

"It's not," Brooklynn shakes her head. "But I found the security code to unlock the gates down there. If you know the way to the park through the tunnels, I could unlock it."

"Let's head down, then," Kenji says. "It might even be a way for the others to escape. Bumpy might not be able to get out, but…"

"Enough chit chat," Yasmina hisses. "We're wasting time. Let's go."

The three work together to lower the motorcycle down into the tunnels and race off to help their friends.

Bumpy rhythmically gallops along in the night, carrying her human companions to the Camp. They arrive at the site. Sammy locates their hidden gear and immediately pulls out the medical supplies.

"Where are the others?" Darius asks, looking around.

"The motorcycle isn't here, but the backpacks are," Ben murmurs.

Sammy beckons the two boys over. "What did you find?" Darius asks.

"Medical supplies," Sammy chuckles. "Let's treat your neck right now."

"Where could they have gone?" Ben asks as Sammy applies a cold pack to Darius's neck.

"Probably back to the park," Sammy shrugs. "Like the reckless ding dongs they can be."

"I told them to come here," Darius groans.

"And they did," Sammy laughs. "Of course they would go back to try to help us. What did ya expect when you put Kenji, Yaz, and Brooklynn together without further instruction?"

"But we didn't see them on our way here," Ben says worriedly. "And they forgot to bring even one walkie talkie with them, so we have no way of communicating with them."

"They probably got lost," Darius gulps, hoping it wasn't anything worse.

"We have to find them," Ben says, urgently. "Where would they be?"

"Could we follow the motorcycle tracks?" Sammy asks. "There's two trails."

"Let's follow them and see where they lead," Darius nods, wincing.

"Keep your neck still," Sammy instructs him as they mount Bumpy again. She turns on a flash light, and the tired Ankylosaurus follows the spot of light. They swerve between the two tracks until they start to drift apart. "Let's try this path," Sammy says.

They follow the path until it becomes clear to them that this leads to the park. Dejected, Ben turns Bumpy around to find the other path.

Bumpy moans tiredly. "I think we should rest," Ben says. "She's getting tired, and we need to sleep."

The three campers slide off of the Ankylosaurus, and she flops down, snorting. "I can stay awake," Ben offers, sitting next to Bumpy. Sammy and Darius lay down next to him.

"I hope Yaz, Kenji, and Brooklynn are okay," Sammy murmurs. The three hold hands and say a prayer for their lost friends before settling down to rest up.

Back in the tunnels, Kenji, Brooklynn, and Yasmina were riding towards the park. They would ride for a short bit before stopping. Brooklynn would unlock the gate and they would be off again. Finally, the three reach a long stretch with no security gates. They speed down the tunnels, worried about their friends.

Kenji swerves to avoid a rogue Compy. "Look out!" Brooklynn shouts, reaching over to squeeze the brake. They skid to a halt just before hitting the wall.

"What is it?" Yasmina asks as they get off the motorcycle.

"It's the port to the park," Kenji says. "Sometimes, when the park is really crowded, they'll use the tunnels to transport dinos. We're at the park."

Brooklynn tries to type in the code, but it's not working. "Ugh!" she groans, hitting the wall with her fist. "I need security clearance for this one."

"Would you have that by any chance, Kenji?" Yasmina asks skeptically.

"Would you trust me with security clearance?" Kenji slumps.

"Fair point," Yasmina grumbles. "How do we get out, then?"

"Then nearest port is in the jungles," Kenji says. "We'd have to go back to get out."

Brooklynn yawns. "Maybe we should sleep? Bumpy faced off against Sarah and Toro and won, even when she was a baby. And you know Blue would jump in. Sammy's a pro at shooting. I think the chances of them winning against Rexy—or at least getting away from her—are really high."

"Yeah," Yasmina nods. "They probably escaped and went to Camp."

"Which we're not at," Kenji groans. He stretches his arms. "Wouldn't hurt to sleep just a bit, though."

The three teens crawl into a vent and close it. Yasmina curls up with her back to the wall, and Brooklynn crawls over to her. The pinkette snuggles in close, and the brunette rolls her eyes. She didn't resist Brooklynn's cuddles, though, and had gotten used to being part of a group snuggle at night. Kenji crawls over and drapes his arm over the two girls. He tucks Brooklynn's head under his chin and sighs.

"Bleh, Kenji! Your breath stinks!" Yasmina exclaims, sputtering.

The alpha male snickers, snuggling in closer to the girls. Yasmina sighs and closes her eyes, trying to ignore her friends stinky breath. The three fall asleep.

Darius, Sammy, and Ben slowly creep into Doctor Wu's lab. It was dark and spooky, and the three whimpered. "Yaz," Sammy whispers ever so lightly. There was no answer.

A high-pitched shriek cuts through the silence, scaring the heck out of the three campers. They rush towards the vents system. The vents they hid in the tunnels were installed in the wall. Water started rushing out of it. "Help!" Brooklynn screams.

"Get us out of here!" Kenji shouts.

Darius hears Yasmina bang on the metal.

The water starts to rise as they try to help their friends out. Darius stops for a moment and listens. It was as if an icy hand had touched his spine as he heard the beginning of the Jaws theme song begin to play.

He slowly turns around to see what looked like tiny raptors swimming through the water for them. He tries to call out a warning, but is pulled under the water. Darius struggles, and kicks the creature. The young boy surfaces and sees the unknown dinosaur claw Sammy's left cheek. She screams and struggles to get away. Darius moves to help her and gets pulled under the water.

Darius gasps.

"What?" Sammy asks. Her and Ben look down at him.

"Just… a dream…" Darius sighs, trying to turn over. He winces as his stiff neck hurts and decides not to lay on his side.

Ben and Sammy look at each other awkwardly and lean back against Bumpy. "What's wrong?" Darius asks, noticing.

"Just… had a slight altercation," Ben shrugs.

"Over what?" Darius sighs. "Yet another fight among friends. Great."

"It's nothing," Sammy says quietly.

Ben purses his lips like he wants to apologize, but says nothing.

Darius sighs, not wanting to try getting between them at the moment. His mind drifts back to his dream, and he gets a pit of dread in his stomach. There was something about it… Something he couldn't shake…

"Have either of you had… dreams?" Darius asks. "Dreams that… eventually… sort of… come to past?"

"Like prophetic dreams?" Sammy asks. Darius tries to nod. "Naw," Sammy shakes her head.

"Never," Ben shrugs. "You?"

Darius sighs. "I think so. I dreamed that Yaz and Brooklynn fell from the treehouse. Brooklynn was bleeding from her stomach. And the treehouse fell down. Then I woke up, and Brooklynn had… you know. That. Yaz and Brooklynn climbed up into the treehouse the next day."

"Kinda freaky," Sammy murmurs.

"Then I had a dream that we were in Minecraft," Darius continues. "We headed back to Camp and tried to build a shelter out of the wreckage. That's what we're going to do. And I had a dream that we were the Avengers. I was Captain America. You were Black Widow, Sammy, with two pistols. Yaz was Hawkeye. Ben was a mix of Hulk and Bumpy. Kenji was Iron Man, and Brooklynn was Thor with a bat. We were going to face off against Rexy. I ordered Kenji, Brooklynn, and Yaz to set up a perimeter while the three of us fought."

"I would've thought that Yaz was Black Widow," Ben chuckles.

"But I'm the sharpshooter…" Sammy muses. "And Yaz is good with a bow. That dream sorta mirrors our recent fight with Rexy."

"Maybe you do have prophetic dreams," Ben smiles. "So what was your dream a few minutes ago?"

Darius bites his lip. His teammates sense his hesitation. "It… We were in Wu's lab. The vents from the tunnels were there and the others were stuck in it. The place started to fill with water and… some sort of raptor-like dinosaurs started swimming towards us while the Jaws theme song started playing. One of the creatures clawed you, Sammy."

"What do you think it means?" Ben asks solemnly.

Darius sighs, really thinking about it. "Kenji, Yaz, and Brooklynn are in the tunnels. I think they might be in danger. But there's something in the lab. Something in those eggs that Eddie pointed to. They're dangerous. We… We need to check them out."

"First we need to head to the tunnels and find our friends," Sammy says.

"Let's head back now," Ben says. The three get up, wake their snoring Ankylosaurus and ride off.

Yasmina's eyes flutter open and she quietly yawns. Kenji was fast asleep inches from her face. A low rumble is emitted from his mouth as he breathes out. Brooklynn was snuggled up tight between the two, breathing lightly. Kenji's arm left a warm, comforting touch on her back as he held the two girls close in a brotherly manner.

Yasmina sighs and closes her eyes again. "I might actually miss everyone's cuddles when we get home to our separate states," she thinks sadly.

The athlete picks up on soft footsteps coming their way. She opens her eyes and listens. The sound was definitely footsteps, but it had almost a metallic sound to it. As if something hard was tapping the concrete ground. Something like claws…

Yasmina flicks Kenji's nose quickly. The alpha male scrunches up his face and looks at her with confusion. "Wh—"

The athlete holds her finger to his mouth to shush him. The young man listens, and his eyes go wide.

Kenji clamps his hand over Brooklynn's mouth, startling her awake. She looks between the two, and quiets down, sensing the seriousness of the situation. The three disassemble their cuddle pile and carefully crawl to the vent. They look out through the slits, trying to see where the dinosaur was.

A footstep startles them. They scramble back, covering their mouths to keep from making a sound. None of them could figure out what kind of predator it was.

The dinosaur stops in front of their vent shaft, sniffing the air. Kenji, Yasmina, and Brooklynn hold their breaths.

The dinosaur lets out a small grunt and begins to move on.

Unfortunately, Brooklynn's diaphragm felt this was the perfect time to let out a loud, uncontrollable hiccup. Kenji and Yasmina clap their hands over her mouth. They sit in silence, hearts thumping as they hope that the predator didn't hear.

The dinosaur slams it's snout into the metal grate, scaring the campers. They scream and crawl backwards. The predator dents the grate inward, snarling. The metal screeches as it scrapes across the concrete. Whatever was attacking them was slowly pushing the metal grate towards them.

The three campers turn over and crawl into a space where they could stand up. The vent they hid in met with another vent running vertical. About a foot above Kenji's head, yet another vent ran horizontal to them. "Let's climb out," Kenji suggests.

A loud, metallic thud scares them. Kenji jumps up and looks through the horizontal vent. Another dinosaur was pushing it in, trying to get to them.

"We're trapped," Brooklynn cries, calming down as the first dinosaur stopped coming closer.

The second predator shoves the metal covering on top of them, roaring as it tries to get through. The campers crouch down and hide in the first vent with a shriek, rubbing their heads where they were hit.

Dino number two bites down on anything it can reach: which happened to be a water pipe. The pipe bursts and dirty water begins to gush out into the vents. The predator growls and pulls itself out of the tiny ventilation shaft.

"Are we safe?" Kenji asks.

"No!" Brooklynn exclaims. "The water is coming in fast. We'll drown!"

"It'll drain through the vent covering, right?" Yasmina pants.

"Not quick enough!" Brooklynn whimpers. "There's barely any room between the metal pieces. And the water's coming in quicker than it's going out. Look!"
As she spoke, the water was slowly rising in their little hiding spot.

"Stand back," Kenji orders, pulling out his rifle. He shoots at one corner of the vent, trying anything he can think of to break it open. He shouts, purses his lips and mutters swear words under his breath.

"What happened?" Yasmina asks, kicking at the other end.

Kenji pants. "That won't work," he says through gritted teeth.

The first dinosaur strikes again, having heard the commotion. The metal bends inward and the steel slits dig into Yasmina's right ankle. She pulls it back with a holler. "F***!" she shouts. Blood swirls out of the vent with the water, enticing the hungry dino.

Darius, Sammy, and Ben arrive at the port the others entered. "Stay here, girl," Ben orders Bumpy as he climbs down. The Ankylosaurus moans mournfully, stamping around the entrance.

The three run through the maze, following the unlocked path. As they get closer, they hear growling and shrieking. The three look around the corner. "Two Baryonyx!" Darius hisses. Under other circumstances, he would've nerded out. But his friends were in danger.

Sammy cocks her rifle and shoots off a round at the Baryonyx. The two predators startle, scared by the metal pelting their backs and the loud noise. They run off, leaving their prey.

Darius, Sammy, and Ben run over to the vent and crawl through. Water was leaking out just like in Darius's dream. "Guys!" Darius shouts.

"Darius? Darius!" Brooklynn shouts. The water was almost up to her waist when she stood up on her knees.

"The water's not draining fast enough!" Kenji shouts.

"Get us out of here!" Yasmina shouts.

"Can you get out the other side?" Sammy asks as Ben crawls out.

"No, another grate is blocking it!" Kenji exclaims, holding his breath and pushing on the bent up covering. It doesn't budge much.

"Stand back!" Ben orders. He jabs at the edge of the covering with a crowbar, trying to force it open. Sammy finds another one and attempts the same thing on the other side.

The water starts to reach the campers chins, and their heads bump up against the ceiling. Brooklynn begins to hyperventilate. "Deep breaths," Yasmina says. "Deep breaths."

"It's not working!" Ben exclaims in frustration.

"The water's rising!" Kenji shouts, his nose pressed to the ceiling.

Ben's face scrunches up and he jams the crowbar into the metal slits. He pulls at them, creating holes in the vent covering. Water sprays out. Sammy follows his lead and they create more holes to let out the water. The rising tide begins to recede, giving the three teens air. They sigh with relief.

The water stops gushing out of the pipe as Sammy and Ben work to open up a sizable hole in the covering. They pry the metal pieces back and Kenji, Yasmina, and Brooklynn crawl out. The six hug each other.

"Why did you head back for us?" Darius asks, breathing a sigh of relief into Kenji's shoulder.

"We wanted to help you guys," Yasmina says, holding Sammy and Brooklynn close.

"I'm just thrilled you guys didn't drown," Ben lets out a shaky sigh.

"What happened to your leg, Yaz?" Darius asks.

"Metal grates sliced it," Yasmina winces, showing them her right leg.

"Let's hope that didn't slice your muscles," Sammy winces. "That would take at least six weeks to heal in a… sterile, safe environment…"

Yasmina looks like she wants to curse and scream and hit Sammy. Instead, she refrains by taking a deep breath and standing up. Kenji winces as he stands up. "Are you okay?" Sammy asks.

"I got an injury trying to get out," he grimaces. "I'll show you when you can treat it."

Sammy moves to help Yasmina limp out, and the athlete roughly shoves her away. The injured girl radiates anger as she growls. She couldn't walk if she wanted to regain her leg, but she didn't want to accept help…

Ben moves in swiftly and drapes her left arm over his shoulder. He wraps his right arm around her waist to support her and looks straight forward, pretending he wasn't helping her. Yasmina sighs irritatedly, but accepts his help. She leans mostly on him to keep her right leg off the ground.

Sammy supports Kenji, worried about his condition. Brooklynn notices Darius wincing and questions him. "It's fine," he shrugs, not wanting her to worry. "I got whiplash, that's all."

"That's serious, Darius," Brooklynn says, worrying. She tries to tell him about the long last effects it could have if he didn't heal, but he shrugs it off, determined not to make a big deal about it.

The six campers climb out where they entered and Bumpy jumps for joy. She begins to run circles around them as they come out, bellowing happily. Ben laughs. "Glad to see you, too, Bumpy."

The six climb on top of Bumpy and ride her back to the Campsite. Ben helps Sammy remove Yasmina's shoe and Sammy cleans the wound. Then she examines the severity of the wound. "It doesn't look like you've cut the muscles too deep… I think they're barely cut. I'll stitch up the muscles, too. If you don't move around too much, we might be able to get you walking fairly quickly."

Yasmina grimaces as Sammy stitches up her wounds. Ben holds her leg still to keep her from twitching. After finishing up, Sammy wraps Yasmina's leg and instructs her to sit still. The Texan moves onto Kenji.

Kenji slowly takes off his shirt to reveal two bleeding wounds. "What happened?!" Sammy cries.

"When did that happen?!" Brooklynn exclaims.

"I shot at the vent covering to try to break it off," Kenji grimaces. "The bullet shattered and pieces bounced back and hit me."

"I'm gonna have to remove the bullet pieces," Sammy says, taking out tweezers. She moves in close to Kenji, gently placing her hand on his chest. Her breath tickles Kenji as she pulls gently at the biggest wound, trying to find the metal. Kenji winces. "Do you want pain relievers for this?" Sammy asks cautiously.

"I can take it," Kenji nods, staring off into the trees as the sun comes up. A breeze comes through, moving his hair just a bit. It sends a small chill up his spine, heightened by Sammy's gentle touch.

"I'll be gentle," Sammy says quietly, reaching in with the tweezers and pulling out the biggest piece.

Kenji lets out a loud, high-pitched yelp. The rest of the group stiffles their giggles. Kenji tries not to scream as Sammy pulls out the second piece, but it still comes out, albeit muffled. "There. Let me clean the wounds," Sammy says.

"It was so dramatic and romantic and theatrical until he screamed," Yasmina laughs.

"His hair moves in the breeze as his gorgeous chest muscles ripple," Brooklynn says theatrically.

"I think you were very brave," Sammy says as she cleans the wound.

"How many things is Kenji?" Brooklynn chuckles. "Let's see, he's the alpha male. He's… He's a full, fine, seven-course meal. And now he's brave."

"Well, at least SaMmY thinks I'm a full, FINE, seven-course meal!" Kenji exclaims, sticking out his lips and haughtily lifting up his nose.

"That's right, you're a full, fine, seven-course meal," Sammy nods, truly meaning it.

"Thank you," Kenji nods, smiling decisively at the girls. They just laugh.

After Sammy is finished patching up Kenji, the six campers scootch up close and have a group hug. "No matter what happens next," Darius says. "We will never again separate like that."
