CHAPTER 11: RAGE AND REALIZATION.

(POV: Mysterious Narrator.)

As Timothy and Billster tried to hold back the guards. Thomas dashed through the halls, in hopes of finding his lover. It had been an hour since he darted on ahead, and was now nearing the upper floors.

(POV: Thomas.)

As I ran past rooms and walkways, I looked left and right to see if Lady was in any of them. Suddenly as I then made another turn to the right, a room with a prison cell door caught my eye. Slowing to a stop, I smiled as I peered inside.

"Lady!"

"Thomas!" She gasped as she then saw me. "Oh thank goodness you came."

"Of course." I replied as I then drew my sword. "Now, time to get you out."

"CRASH!" Sounded the door, as I sliced it off of it's hinges.

As I then stepped into the now open room, I gently felt Lady's cheeks to ensure that it was truly her. Fortunately for me, it was the same softness and texture that I knew her to have. Unfortunately however, Allen would not be unprepared for my arrival. As I then finished my kiss with Lady, I heard a sound from behind us, and got ready to defend her, when I felt my body getting heavier and heavier. As we were then teleported to an unknown room, Lady and I tried to reach for one another's hands, but to no avail.

"Well, well, well." Sniggered a voice as he then grabbed Excalibur. "It appears that a rat had entered into my empress's room."

"Allen!" I said with a scowl, as I tried my hardest to get up.

"Like the spell that my sorcerers created?" He asked with a sly look. "It's a new sigil that can manipulate gravity. Certainly one that anyone would go for, wouldn't agree?"

"Why bother asking me that?!" I replied. "I'm a swordsman not a caster, remember? And you hate me. So why being friendly now? Huh?"

Allen's sneer only grew broader as he heard that.

"Because I'm going to be the emperor of this Island." He replied. "It wouldn't be right if I didn't have anything to sell to the visitors."

"And what if the buyer is someone who would misuse it?!" Lady then cutted in.

"It wouldn't be my problem." Allen replied. "Besides, I doubt you'll remember this conversation anyway, my dear princess."

"What?"

"Did you honestly think that I was expecting you to say yes to my proposal willingly?" Allen then sniggered. "If so, then you are very much mistaken. My plans to meet you have actually been carefully planned, since the day you have awoke once more. I thought up many ways to go about doing it, and frankly it would have been easy once I figured out a way to reveal my existence to your father. However.." He went on. "Once I found just the spell, you have clearly fallen for this rat here, so I had no choice but to go ahead and have my servants prepare a ritual that will place you under a permanent hypnosis, there for you would never once think about the man you chose or anything else that will cause you to say no. You'll be completely obedient to me and only me, and so, there will be NOTHING that you'll be against to."

As Allen then laughed maniacally. I looked over, and saw the expression on Lady's face. She was both shocked and saddened at the same time. As her tears fell from her eyes, and the hope drained from her face. As Allen then began to chain her up for the ritual, my rage and hate only grew. He made Lady cry, and I could not take it. Scowling, I got up once again, and tried to strike him with a punch when.

"HIYA!" Allen grunted as he kicked me.

"Thomas!" Lady cried.

"Okay.. Time for you to stay still."

"Argh!" I grunted as I felt Allen stabbing excalibur through my stomach, pinning me to the ground.

"Do what you like, Thomas." He then said as he continued to chain Lady up. "I have won. There is nothing you can do."

As I then watched Lady being lifted upward, Allen snapped his fingers, and lighting came down the chains as the seal below my lover glowed.

"AH!"

"My apologies." Allen then said sarcastically as he watched Lady get struck by the lightning of the ritual. "It appears that this one is meant to have more torture than most. Ah well, at least I can finally see how you squirm."

As I heard Lady's scream of anguish, my rage built up more and more. My lover was in deep pain, and I was beginning to really lose it. As I then felt my scowl grow bigger, I pushed myself up again, grabbing my sword as it fell out of my stomach, and then charged forward to release Lady, as then a massive bolt of lightning struck her. As I then cut her free, the ritual stopped, and I held Lady in my arms, as her breathing became more and more shallow.

"Thomas.." She then said to me. "It's... too... Late."

Lady's eyes closed, as her heartbeat stopped. As I then began to sob, I knew that I had indeed failed the love of my life. Allen's cackling did not help either, for it was clear that he had no piece of sympathy or true compassion. My hands clenched into fists, as something broke within me. Something dark.

"Oh..." He then said mockingly as I got up and stepped towards him. "What are you going to do? Cry? Whimper?"

I only scowled as I then grabbed Allen by the neck and tossed him into the floor. As he then tried to run, I stepped on his legs, and then began to punch him again and again. I did not know why, but throughout this duration, I truly wanted to KILL Allen. Beat him up again and again until his life ended. As I then glared at the now bloodied face of Allen, I held my right arm out, and Excalibur flew into my hand. I then readied to do the final blow, but as I did, an image of a blurry familiar figure came into my mind once more, as a golden sword slashed it. As the realization came into my mind, I hesitated, and dropped my sword, as tears flowed down my face. I was becoming like HIM.

"Are you the Sorcerer-knight Thomas Billinton?" Asked a voice.

I looked over and saw a man in attire that was similar to my own, but it was silver with golden accents.

"Yes." I replied, as I still had tears across my face.

"Excellent." He replied. "That makes things more swift. Listen.." He went on. "I shall deal with Allen here, you get Lady, and once you have her within your arms, I need you to follow me."

I nodded, as I then sheathed Excalibur once more, and brought Lady's lifeless body into my arms. I didn't know it just yet, but, where I was to be led to would reveal something different about Lady's status, and would confirm a suspicion that I had with her mother.
