Disclaimer: You know the drill by now. I hope.
"Why did I agree to do this again?" Kim groaned as they traipsed through the snow covered Parisian streets.
"Because you're an idiot," Alix said, rolling her eyes. "I don't know what you're complaining about anyway. It's your fault that we're even here."
"My fault!? My fault!? How is this MY fault!?"
"Well you did say that I was too puny to carry as many Secret Santa presents as you. That's what makes it your fault," Alix said and Kim snorted.
"You didn't have to make it a bet," he said and Alix snorted.
"Like I would let you get away with saying that. You were throwing down and you know it."
"It's just stating facts," he bragged and Alix rolled her eyes. "I'm looking forward to winning."
"I just hope that you're not too disappointed when you lose," Alix shot back as Marinette stopped at another display. "I mean, if it's getting too much for you…"
In your dreams!" Kim replied. Alya handed Kim another bag. "See, even Alya knows that I'm the stronger one!"
Marinette handed Alix a larger bag and Alix smirked.
"You're so puny, you're getting all the smaller bags," she bragged. "I get all the heavier ones because I'm the strongest."
"I've got plenty of heavy ones!" he protested. Alix snorted.
"Well, heavy for a wuss like you," she said with a smirk. "I mean, genuinely heavy."
"Please. My heaviest bag is at least twice as heavy as yours," he said. Alix looked at him dubiously.
"That sounds like a challenge," she said with a smirk. Kim smirked back.
"It is," he said. "When we get back, pick your heaviest bag and I'll pick mine. We weigh them and whoever has the heaviest bag wins. Loser buys lunch for the winner for a week."
"Deal!"
"Deal!"
"Do you think that they'll ever realise that we tricked them into carrying all of the Seret Santa shopping for us?" Marinette asked Alya, who silently giggled.
"Do you think that they'll even care?" Alya replied with a grin. She turned and waved Alix and Kim closer. "Hey guys, I think that's everything we need for the Secret Santa at the children's hospital," she said. "Thanks for helping us out guys."
"Pfft. It was easy," Kim said as they reached the car park where Adrien and his bodyguard had just arrived to pick them up. "In fact, I could probably walk all the way back to school with these." He paused and looked at Alix. "I understand if it's a bit too much for you though."
"As if!" Alix said, storming in the general direction of Collège Françoise Dupont. "Race you there!"
"Oh it is on!" Kim said, his face lighting up as he started walking towards Collège Françoise Dupont.
Marinette and Alya stared dumbfounded at the retreating figures of Alix and Kim. Adrien frowned as he stepped out of the car.
"Where are Kim and Alix going?" he asked and Marinette shook her head.
"Kim suggested that Alix couldn't carry all the Secret Santa gifts back to Collège Françoise Dupont…" Alya said, a grin crossing her face. Adrien raised an eyebrow.
"Oh…" he said, before smiling at Alya and Marinette. "Well, I can give you a lift there," he said, opening the door.
"Actually, I'd better go after them and make sure they're safe," Alya said with a smirk. "But Marinette here is feeling the cold. Why don't you take her back to school?""
Marinette let out a small eeep sound and Alya grinned.
"Hey, see you guys back at school, okay?" she said as she began chasing Alix and Kim. Marinette stared at her for a full minute before Adrien spoke.
"Your carriage awaits," he said with a smile. With one more small eep, she got in, followed shortly by Adrien. Who knew that Secret Santa shopping could be so rewarding?
