Alexandria woke up the next morning. She was so happy. She still couldn't believe that John told her he loved her. She opened her eyes. A few seconds later John opened his eyes.
"Good morning." She said happily.
"Good morning." He said in the same tone. They kissed.
She checked her phone. "I have to go."
"No, come here." He pulled her on top of him. They kissed.
"John, I have to go."
"Why?"
"Stay here with me."
"I can't baby, I have to go back to LA, check on a few jobs, break up with Landon."
"Were you sleeping with him?"
"Yes." "I'm with the person I really want though."
"You are huh?" He said smirking.
"Yes." "I love you."
"I love you too." They kissed.
"Can I get up now?"
"Yeah." She got up and dressed.
John put on his boxers and walked her to the door.
"I'll call you later." She said.
"Ok." They kissed. A long, slow passionate kiss. He held her close. "I love you Alexandria."
Hearing that from John still made Alexandria's heart flutter with joy. "I love you too John."
"Bye."
"Bye." She left.
John took a shower and dressed. He got his cell phone and dialed Randy's number.
"Hello?" Randy said.
"Hey man." John said with a happiness in his voice that Randy hadn't heard in years.
"Someone sounds happy." Randy said surprised.
"I am." "I have a girlfriend."
"Did you say a girlfriend?"
"That's what I said."
"Alexandria?"
"Yeah." "She came to see me last night." "I almost let her get away." "I almost let her walk out of my life." "She was going to marry someone else." "I couldn't let her do that." "I love her."
"I know you do." "I'm really happy for you guys."
"Thanks."
"I have to go but good for you guys." "Bye."
"Bye."
Randy hung up and called Kim.
"Hello?" She said.
"I have big news." "John and Alexandria are officially a couple."
"Wow." She said surprised.
"I know."
"That's great."
"You should've heard how happy he was as he was telling me." "I haven't heard him this happy since before Sherri died." "You know how worried I've been about him over the years."
"I know." "I'm so happy for them."
"Me to."
"We should try and sync up our schedules and go out on a double date."
"I'll talk to John about it."
Alexandria was back in LA and about to go into Landon's hotel room. With as happy as she'd been, she knew this would suck. She was about to break Landon's heart, no matter how gentle she was. She went inside. He was sitting on the couch.
"Hi." He said smiling.
"Hi." She sat down next to him and looked at him seriously. "We have to talk." "Landon, I'm sorry but I can't marry you."
"What did I do?" He said sadly.
"Nothing." "There's someone else, until recently I didn't think it was going anywhere."
"You said you loved me."
"Part of me always will in a way." "You were my first love."
"So you were just using me?"
"No."
"Please just go."
"Ok." She stood up. "I really am sorry." She left feeling terrible for what she did to him but knowing she made the right choice.
