ALSO THIS CHAPTER'S GONNA BE KINDA RUSHED, BUT JUST READ ON

"She wasn't anyone but a friend, that's all. As the god of heroes and quests, I usually watched over heroes who washed up on her shores. I talked to her a couple of times, but just that. She was stuck in an island, alone, for eternity, Artemis. The only company she has are heroes that come and go every couple centuries. Before I was banished, I spent a couple of times there. Just talking. You can't be jealous, Artemis."

"I'm not jealous." She mumbled. "I'm just making sure my boyfriend wasn't cheating on me."

"I was and will never cheat on you, Artemis. I love you." Percy said.

Artemis turned and looked at her boyfriend, "I'm sorry Percy. I love you too."

Percy smiled and kissed her. Artemis paused the sitcom, and the two laid down on the bed, both smiling as they kissed.

Percy had been informed to come to the Big House to discuss an oncoming battle. He rushed to the Big House at once. He knocked on the door, and Chiron answered.

"Ah, Percy. Come right in."

He nodded, and came inside. Inside, he found Theseus, the son of Poseidon, Annabeth, the child of Athena, a satyr who he remembered to be Grover Underwood, and a red-headed girl who he didn't know, by the looks and scent of her, he guessed she was a clear-sighted mortal, demigods venturing into the Labyrinth would need a clear-sighted mortal after all.

"Lord Perseus." Theseus greeted.

"Aw, c'mon lil bro! Percy. Just Percy." He smiled.

"Ah yes, Theo, you might want to tell him." Chiron interjected.

"About what, Chiron?" Percy turned to the centaur.

"Kronos' forces are planning an attack on Camp in a few hours. We need to get ready. Expect one to two thousand monsters, and maybe some larger threats, like the minotaur, or the manticore." Theo said.

Percy nodded, and didn't seem fazed at all. Chiron looked at him weirdly.

"You're not surprised?"

Percy shook his head, "Nope. I thought gramps would've launched an attack sooner or later. The best thing to do is to get ready. Suit up, and prepare for battle."

Chrion and the demigods nodded. Percy turned to the red-headed mortal.

"Who might you be, mortal?" he asked.

The mortal extended her hand, "Rachel Dare. Clear-sighted mortal. Pleased to meet you."

Percy shook it, "Perseus, but please call me Percy. God of time, heroes, and all that stuff."

Rachel's eyes widened, and she realized what meant when Theo called him 'Lord'. She'd thought the two were brothers and the other was just messing with him. She quickly bowed.

"Aw, c'mon. Not you too! I'm not Zeusie. You don't need to bow, Rachel." He laughed.

Rachel blushed lightly in embarrassment, then stood again. "Sorry, my Lord." She muttered.

"Now." Chrion said. "Theo, Annabeth, Grover, ready the camp and the willing nature spirits to fight. Miss Dare, you may return to your home, or stay here with us. I would suggest you stay in the Big House though, to watch the battle from afar. I'd hate to get you killed."

Rachel nodded, "I'd like to stay here please. I'll be fine watching the fight from the Big House. Thanks Chiron."

"Alright." The centaur nodded, "Percy? I assume you would help?"

"Yes. I'll do what I can, without breaking the Ancient Laws. If there's a titan, leave him to me."

Theo and Annabeth nodded, and the three excused themselves. Chiron also wanted to warn the campers, which led to Rachel and Perseus being alone in the Big House. The two turned awkwardly and avoided each other's eyes. Perseus was no love deity, but he could sense Rachel was intrigued at him. It wasn't enough to call love, but quite more than just 'friends' or 'acquaintances'.

Perseus excused himself and walked up to his (and Artemis') private room in the second floor of the Big House. As soon as the door was closed and locked, Artemis flashed in with a look of rage in her eyes.

"Percy." She seethed.

Percy looked apologetically at her, "Look, Arty. It's not what you think it is."

"NOT WHAT I FUCKING THINK IT IS?" she bellowed. "EXPLAIN YOURSELF NOW, BEFORE I KILL THAT GODDAMN MORTAL DOWNSTAIRS!"

"Alright. Sit down, please, Arty." Percy replied, "I didn't make a move, and she didn't make a move. You don't have to kill anybody, Artemis. Maybe she has some feelings, but she didn't show it. And I can guarantee you, that I don't have any sort of romantic feeling towards her. My heart's for you, Artemis."

"You are NOT sweet-talking your way out of this one, Percy. You're lucky I was in the middle of a hunt. We WILL talk about this later." She glared at him, before flashing out.

'GODDAMNIT, PERCY! What'd ya fucking do now, idiot!' Percy thought to himself. 'STUPID, STUPID, STUPID! Pray to Chaos Arty's not gonna murder me tonight!'
_

The conch horn of Camp Half-Blood rang three times, signaling an attack on camp. Everyone rushed to the entrance of the Labyrinth in full battle armor. They found hordes and hordes of monsters pouring out of the Labyrinth entrance.

Everyone could handle the horde of monsters, even with the minotaur and manticore on the opposing side. That was, until she showed up. Kampe exited last from the Labyrinth, towering above all monsters. She was a gigantic she-beast, with snake hair, dragon heads sprouting from her waist, scaly, hard, almost impenetrable skin, and huge, sharp claws. She screeched and headed into battle.

Perseus thought everything would be alright, before Kampe arrived. It didn't take a genius to figure out the titan lord's intentions; tire out the demigods, until they almost win, and crush their hopes of winning by releasing the most dangerous she-beast from Tartarus. How Kronos managed to free her, Percy didn't know.

Before Kampe's appearance, the demigods almost won. Almost. Only around two hundred more monsters to go. They were only rank-and-file monsters as well. Some Cyclops, dracaena, and empousai. When she arrived, a few campers pissed their pants.

"ARES CABIN! Lock shields!" Clarisse, the leader of the Ares cabin barked. Said cabin did exactly that, and slowly advanced on to the remaining monsters, careful not to get hit by Kampe.

Theo was dousing Kampe and pushing her back with wave after wave of water, but it did nothing but tickle and slow her down. Percy knew he had to step in. he was bound to the Ancient Laws, but he had some leeway, being the god of heroes. He couldn't outright help the heroes, but he could if he had to.

Percy readied his sword, Anaklusmos, and charged Kampe.

She hissed, "This is mortal affairs, godling. You have no business here."

"Ah yes, you see. I am the god of heroes. I believe you know me, old friend."

Kampe's eyes widened, "NO! It is not possible. You are in Tartarus. I saw you myself!"

Percy just rolled his eyes, "When was that? Probably a couple hundred years ago, ya old reptile."

Kampe just hissed and spewed fire at him, alongside her miniature-Kampe thingies at her waist. Perseus blocked the fire with Anaklusmos, and turned to Theo.

"GO! Take care of the minor monsters. Heal the wounded. Kampe will taste Riptide."

Theo nodded, and doused a couple of dracaena in water. None of the campers attacked Kampe anymore, instead treating the wounded, and fighting skirmishes around the entrance.

"So, let's get this settled then. Either you leave, and live. Or you fight, and die. Choose wisely, Kampy." Percy said.

"TASTE FIRE, FOOL!" Kampe yelled, breathing fire again. Percy just blocked it and dodged.

"Bad choice. You know, Anaklusmos was the blade that obliterated Zeus to a pile of gold ash, you know that?" What's to guarantee you won't suffer the same fate?" Perseus continued taunting.

Kampe seemed scared for a moment, a flash of fear in her eyes, before slashing her claws at Percy.

"Fine, suit yourself."

Percy lunged at Kampe, Anaklusmos cutting a gash in her hard, scaly skin. He decapitated some mini-Kampe dragon heads at her waist, and slashed wildly at her legs. Kampe roared in anger, but Percy just ignored her.

The she-beast charged at Percy, and he delivered the final blow. He drove the blade into her neck with one powerful thrust, and Kampe was nothing more than a pile of golden dust. Percy caught his breath, hands on his knees, before returning to Camp Half-Blood to check on the losses. He met up with Chiron at the Big House.

"So, losses?" he asked.

"Six dead, twenty-two injured. The rest is fine, exhausted, but fine." The centaur replied.

Percy nodded, "Thank Chaos. Help the Apollo campers heal the injured ones, Chiron. I'll handle anything that comes up until they're all patched up."

"Thanks old friend, I'll be off then." Chiron galloped away.

Percy headed towards the Big House, in attempt to get some rest, but as soon as he closed the door, Artemis flashed in.

"Hi Artemis. If you don't mind, I want to rest up first please?"

Artemis looked at Percy, and then sighed and snapped her fingers. Percy's soot and dirt covered shirt was replaced with a new, laundry-smelling white shirt.

"You're welcome." Artemis said.

Percy sat down on the bed, and motioned Artemis to cuddle beside him. He hugged her, and mumbled to her ear, "Thanks, Arty. Good to know you're always there."

Artemis sighed, "Yeah. You're welcome, Percy. And don't worry. I've already forgiven you for this morning. But, you cannot and will not stop me from killing the red-haired mortal if she dares to make any sort of move on you, understand?"

Percy stifled a laugh, "Sure, my super-gorgeous goddess-girlfriend. I'll be making sure she doesn't do anything. Thanks again Artemis."

Artemis looked pleased, and she turned on Netflix. She chose Avatar: The Last Airbender and put on episode 8 season 2.

"Aw man." Percy whined, "This is a show for kids, Artemis. And why're you skipping the first season and seven first episodes?"

"Firstly, this isn't a show for kids, Percy. And secondly, I'm skipping it because I've already watched the previous ones. Don't think just because I live in the wilderness, I've never watched any shows." Artemis glared at him.

"Jeez." Percy threw his hands up in the air. "Okay. Okay. Sorry, Arty."

"Besides, you're supposed to be sleeping."

"Fine. Wake me if anything happens, okay? I promised Chiron I'd handle anything that comes up. And don't try to solve the problems yourself, Arty. No offense, but you'll probably end up killing the males that are in the problem to solve it."

Artemis rolled her eyes. "Alright, Percy. Now, rest up."

She kissed Percy's cheek, and with that, the god of heroes drifted into the realm of Hypnos beside his super-gorgeous goddess-girlfriend watching ATLA on Netflix.

REVIEWS

BJack12: Thanks! And about Hestia, yeah. Since the first time reading Greek mythology, I've always wondered why the heck is Zeus, of all the elder gods, the king. I mean if Ancient Greece was sexist, and females were below males, then at least make the king Hades, heck, even Poseidon. Why out of everyone should Zeus be the king. I mean, I get that he saved the other gods, but like, he could take that into his title, or something. Like, Zeus, God of Thunder and Savior of the Elder Gods. And not to mention Hades' banishment, and Hestia's throne. I get it that it was Hestia's free will, but do you really need a god of wine? Is wine more important than home, hearth, fire? Nope. It's not. You might as well throne the god of coca-cola an Olympian. But, idk, that's just my opinion, and sorry for ranting lol :)

HellRaiderS: Yeah, sorry this one's also a bit rushed. I'll try my best to do better.

Alexandra Goddess of Heroes: Yeah, but I mean, just pretend lol. This is a fic. So sorry not sorry hehe.

Rohan Rodrigues: Yup! That's exactly what I was going for!

CommaderDuck14: Lol. Sorry if the maze battle was a bit disappointing. As I said, I don't have the book right beside me, and I'm writing his from memory.

Kaden Flores: I'll be making a prequel, if you're wondering. It's gonna be about Percy's life before his banishment, and life inside Tartarus. It's gonna have to wait after this one's finished though.

A/N

Ok, I know this one is also rushed. But please for the love of God, I already know it. I don't wanna say that I don't appreciate your reviews, I honestly do! I absolutely fricking enjoy and appreciate every single review that I get from you guys. They honestly make my day! But, I am well aware that sometimes, my chapters are a bit rushed, or the storyline's going too fast, and I'd appreciate if you guys would tone down the rushed reviews. I am trying as hard as I can. but sometimes, I don't really know what to write, and end up rushing the chapter. Again, not that I don't appreciate it, it just get's kinda annoying to see that over and over again.

But, other than that, I am very thankful tor all of your reviews!

Thanks and bye :)
