Break This Down

It's been an entire week since we've been back on the Isle and it's been a whirlwind of a week, Dad had his glimpse of the sun so he was moodier than ever being forced back on the Isle so I've been avoiding him as much as I can but still checking up on him every now and then but mostly I spent my time with Uma as together we were reinventing the Island seeing as we were all gonna be stuck here for the rest of our lives but aside from that things were great especially between Harry and I after we finally admitted our feelings for each other.

Whenever Uma and I weren't busy with the Isle or checking up on my Dad I was with him just hanging out at the Slop Shop on coffee dates, cuddling on the docks watching the ocean or my favorite causing mayhem from stealing his hook and having him chase me so you could despite the dull and dark cloud always over our heads our lives were still better.

I walked out of the lair dressed in an actual dress...I know I can't believe it either but hey I have a boyfriend now...geez that's weird to say but I thought it'd be fun to be an actual girl but it still held just the right amount of edge that remained true to my style and of course I paired it with my skull gloves, my signature skull ring that never left my left index finger, a pair of black skull earrings in my ears, my make up the same as it always is pretty much cause it's the only way I know and like to to do, my hair was pulled back and braided for once with some skeleton hand clips to hold it in place and I had my Cerberus necklace around my neck finishing off with a pair of boots as I made my way to the docks finding Harry on the deck of the Lost Revenge fixing it up since he was pretty much living there now and I was 9 times out of 10 as well.

"Hey" I smiled making him look up from nailing new boards down and his eyes widened before he left out a whistle making me blush a little. "Shut up" I remarked right as Uma walked up since she was helping us with fixing up the ship and I smirked seeing as we both seemed to have the same idea as she was also in a dress and Harry laughed at us.

"Yer look like girls" he stood so I turned and punched his arm.

"I don't hit like one so watch it" he just laughed wrapping his arms around my waist and kissed my cheek and I smiled hugging his arms tighter around me as Uma smiled at us. "Now get back to work"

"Get off me back" Harry shoved me away and we all laughed getting back to work all on our separate parts of restoring the ship to the best of what the Isle had available but suddenly there was a beam of light and we all looked up as the barrier disintegrated into gold sparkles and the cloud overhead disappeared.

"What the hell?!" I exclaimed looking up before we turned and saw a bridge forming between the Isle and Auradon and not the magical kind that appeared and disappeared it was a full on stone bridge.

"The barrier...it's down!" Uma exclaimed before we run towards our side of the bridge as everyone around us looked up at the sun in a mixture of shock and wonder, Uma and I laughed in our own disbelief since Mal had actually come through and tore down the barrier.

"My plan" Uma smiled before we spun around together .

"Yes!" I exclaimed jumping into Harry's arms and he spun me around as we continued to laugh before he set me back on my feet and we walked up to the balcony with Celica and Gil following us up.

"We're gonna put it in mo...o...otion" Uma and I sang together walking to the banister. "Break down what keeps us apart...unite till we stand now were living marching in the light, one...two, one...two like...you see me...perfectly, face to face we can see clearly our similarities like day and night...we come together for a good time" I turned as Harry, Celica and Gil came up behind us and Harry put his arms around me. "Were gonna break this down, we're gonna rock this town...everyone all around...lets be whoever like this, stronger like this..." we all ran down from the balcony.

"Believing in second chances" Uma sang going down one side of the stairs.

"And we're all starting today" Celica added following her down.

"Marching on in a new land" Harry sang and I smiled at him as he pulled me with him.

"Our worlds a better...a better place" we all sang linking hands and started across the bridge. "In the light one...two, one...two...you see me...perfectly...face to face we can see clearly our similarities like-"

"Day and Night" we could hear Mal and the others singing as they walked towards us from their side.

"Wrong or Right" our side sang back.

"We come together for a good time, were gonna break this down, were gonna rock this town...everyone all around just be whoever like this...stronger together like this...we reunited like this" we all sang as one Isle and Auradon together. "Bringing it, bringing it, b-b-bringing it down...Bringing it, bringing it, b-b-bringing it down...Bringing it, bringing it, b-b-bringing it down...Bringing it, bringing it, b-b-bringing it down!" we continued sing as one before we stopped.

Everyone from the Isle had stopped just outside the archway into Auradon and Mal and the others went to stand with the Auradorians who bowed before us as a welcome to Auradon and I couldn't believe this was actually happening...was I gonna wake up any minute now still on the Isle with the barrier over our head.

"Whoo!" Uma shouted heading in first and ran to Mal hugging her and I sighed hesitating back before Mal let go of Uma and turned to me then held out her arms and I found myself smiling since what the hell...she was on her way to earing my forgiveness so I hugged her quick then let go before turning back towards Harry as we started to dance with everyone else our eyes never leaving each other's and the smiles never dropping from our faces.

"We're gonna break this down...we're gonna rock the town...everyone all around just be whoever like this...stronger together like this...we be united like this" we all sang again still dancing as one community. "We're gonna break this down (Come on! We're gonna break this down...we're gonna rock the town...come on everybody on the isle gonna like this...everyone all around...just be whoever like this...stronger together like this...we reunited like this...Hey!" Harry spun me around before letting me go when I was beside him again. "Bringing it, bringing it, b-b-bringing it down!" we finished before cheers erupted as more Isle residents came across the bridge with a purple dragon puppet moving it around Mal as she laughed in the middle of it dancing with the kids from the Isle.

"Daddy!" I heard Celica yell and ran over to her Dad who'd come across along with Lady Tremaine and Smee who were just as awestruck by the sun as everyone else was.

"Hadley!" I spun around only to get picked up by the waist and spun again by Harry with my hands on his shoulders as I laughed. "Were free!" I smiled leaning down and pressed my lips to his before we parted and he dropped me back to feet moving over to where Uma and Evie was and Evie surprised me by hugging me and I didn't pull back.

"You know what...Mal came through" Uma said and I nodded smiling over at my half-sister bouncing and laughing happily with the Isle people.

"She always does" Evie agreed.

"So she's definitely taken?" Harry suddenly asked and I turned to him with a glare seeing his eyes not on Mal but on me with a smirk meaning he was just trying to get a rise out of me on purpose.

"Definitely" Evie agreed not seeing Harry's eyes on me.

"What's my name?" I spat at him.

"Hadley" he replied before moving in for another kiss but I pushed on his chest.

"Uh-ah" I shook my head as Uma shook her head at us walking away and so did Evie and Doug.

"I was just kidding" he shrugged and I rolled my eyes. "Fine" he said reaching into his pocket and pulled out a small silver chain. "I was gonna give this to yer later Hothead" he held it out in front of me and I smiled at the pendant hanging off it, it was a hook with a skull on top of it...a combination of us. "I got the idea from Carlos...but yer know bettered it" I laughed shaking my head turning so he could put it around my neck.

"It's perfect Har" I leaned up and pressed a kiss to his cheek before I smirked grabbing his hook and ran only for him to chase me straight away grabbing me from behind holding me against his chest.

"Give it back yer little minx"

"Never" I smirked.

"Am I invited to the wedding?" I heard Dad's voice seeing him standing on the bridge and Harry immediately dropped me on my feet.

"Hi Dad!" I heard Ben exclaim turning seeing them practically beside us and laughed at Ben's nervousness as well as Harry's as his body had gotten rigid next to me at the sight of my father as they've never...ever been introduced as I kept my home life and the crew separate.

"Dad!" I exclaimed running over at the same time Mal did and together we both wrapped our arms around him...like an almost normal family hug with Dad hugging us back before we turned smiling at Ben and Harry who'd stepped up closer.

"I'm sure you two will be very happy together" Dad said looking at Ben before Mal went over and hugged Mal and I saw Dad give Ben the 'I'm watching you' gesture and hit his chest before I moved over to Harry holding out his hook for him. "And you better treat her like the Goddess she is" he added towards Harry and I rolled my eyes.

"Yer don't have ter worry about that" Harry replied looking down at me as he said it making me smile before Mal and I moved back to Dad taking his hands.

"Welcome to Auradon!" Ben said clapping Dad on the back from Mal's side and Dad stopped to glare at him for touching him and I laughed before we all started singing and dancing again moving down the Isle through the archway into Auradon to continue the celebration.
