Bakugou
Once I returned home, I was besieged by my parents who didn't want to let me go, while all I thought about was sleeping. Although I never told them, I was exhausted, mentally and physically. I locked myself in my room and didn't go out the next day. I hardly tasted food, but I wasn't hungry. My stupid mom thought I was sick, but I just told her I was exhausted, and part of it was true.
Seeing All Might's new look, emaciated and weak, made something break in me. Was it my fault that he's in this state? Did my weakness push you to the limit? Is it because of me that the symbol of peace no longer exists? Those questions tortured me all night long, and I was sick of feeling my face wet with damn tears that did nothing more than confirm what a wimp I am.
That morning I had received an email in which I was informed that we would receive a visit from the teachers to communicate the new measures that would be taken from now on. I didn't want anyone to see me in this feverish state, but if I didn't show up, it would lead to the suspicions I was trying so hard to hide. I let go of my emotions, and went to face them as they were supposed to.
However, despite trying to hide it as best I could, the marks of my nails on my palms only deepened when I received a visit from Prof. Aizawa accompanied by All Might, now in his permanent state; It is not even the shadow of what it was, and all because of me. During the entire visit I barely whispered a word, my eyes were fixed on the ground. I didn't dare look at him; could not.
– I count on you! – getting hit by my old lady
– Don't hit me old lady! I'LL KILL YOU!
– SHUT! IT'S YOUR FAULT FOR BEING SO WEAK AND CONCERNING OTHERS!
– You two, calm down – my old man demanded us
– SHUT UP DAMN OLD MAN! DON'T MESS! – my nerves were on edge. As if I no longer feel bad enough to be reminded.
– Is it really okay with you?
– About the dorms? Yeah, it really looks good to us – as she took his hands off me. – Katsuki is a pedantic good at everything, who was born with a good quirk, and that's why he ended up like this. So, I was very happy after hearing what you said at the press conference. That convinced me that he has been adequately guarded at school. – Now she turned her eyes to me – I was worried about him for a while, but now he's safe and sound – putting her hand to my head – So I trust you and I will leave him in your care. Saying that, she pushed my head down in reverence. – It's not like that? – Then I heard my old man nod. – He's a troublesome boy, but please make him a good hero.
– He will be, – replied the black – haired man in a monotonous voice.
Once they had left the residence, I had to get rid of a doubt that had dragged on since I saw the damned Deku cry. For both that nerd and me, All Might was the motivation to become heroes and, now retired, I couldn't help but think that those words he spoke, once he had defeated All For One, had another meaning for him due to the closeness that they both shared.
– All Might, – he turned to me – What is Deku to you?
– A promising aspiring hero student, just like you. – Before I could ask any more, I was interrupted by my stupid mother's voice.
– I see – I replied, not at all convinced of his answer. It was evident that both he and Deku were hiding something. – If you don't want to tell me, that's fine. – Heading back to the house.
As my stay had been approved, I went to my room with the excuse that I had to pack for the next day, but really, I just wanted to sleep. I didn't want to think about anything else.
While I was laying on my bed, I could see that I had several messages on my cell phone and among all of them, there was his. We couldn't even speak when we were in the plaza, but knowing that it was part of my rescue gave me an unusual feeling. I wasn't entirely uncomfortable for it, but I couldn't describe it either. Not considering how worried the rest might be, including Kirishima's stupid spiky hair.
I had to get stronger. It was the second time that he had fallen prey to some villain and there wouldn't be a third time.
…
The next day, we were summoned to the condo that would serve as our stationary residence from now on. Thinking that I spent eight hours with these idiots was punishment enough for now having to spend even more time with them living under the same roof. My little patience was being tested.
At the entrance was our teacher in charge, Aizawa, to welcome us, or rather, the reprimand.
– For now, I'm glad we could reunite class 1 – A
– I had problems – said the invisible
– That's normal – the headphone condescended.
– You were the most affected by the gas – commented from the tail, and so the rest.
– I was surprised too. I guess everyone has different circumstances. – bringing his hand behind his head. – Well, now I will explain briefly about the dormitories, but first ... We will focus on obtaining the provisional licenses – putting their palms together. This provoked a whisper from the extras. – This is important, listen up. – His face turned grim. – Kirishima – and after mentioning the first name, the others were not a surprise – Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Iida; those five went to rescue Bakugou that night. – Not the slightest breeze was heard. – Your reactions tell me that all of you at least knew. I am going to put aside a number of issues and say this: – his tone became even more serious – If it weren't for All Might's retirement, I would have expelled everyone except Bakugou, Hagakure and Jiro. – I felt an uncomfortable knot in the pit of my stomach. – The five who went and the other twelve who knew, but did not stop them, betrayed our trust regardless of the reason. I would appreciate it if you could follow the procedures and act appropriately to regain that trust. – We could all feel the relentless energy that the teacher's gaze gave off. – That's it. Now, let's go inside. – returning to his usual monotonous voice.
I could still feel the discomfort in the pit of my stomach, and from behind, I could see everyone's downcast expressions, especially the idiot Kirishima. So, I thought of something to distract them. I dragged the power supply and pushed it to its limit with a well–aimed blow to the back of the neck, where its nerve endings connected. This done, he adopted his characteristic "Yay" each time he became useless. While the others were distracted by him, I approached the redhead.
– Kirishima! – and then I offered him money
– And that? Did you extort him?
– No! I withdrew it. You used all your allowance, right? – After the rescue, I learned that you bought night vision binoculars for such purposes. He couldn't leave it like that.
– Yes, but how do you ...? – I gave them to him by force
– If you keep having to save because of me, you will make me feel bad. – By turning away from him. I didn't want him to ask me any more questions. – Show your silly side as usual.
– This won't make up for it, but let's go eat yakiniku with this money! – I heard him yell followed by the voices of the rest.
Then we were shown the general areas and the division of the rooms. By the time I finished unpacking, it was almost nine at night and I was sold out. I took a bath and it was only until the next day that I learned of a stupid competition to find out who had the best room after reading the messages on my cell phone. They are all idiots.
On the way to the elevator for breakfast, I ran into the obnoxious Half–Half. As always, he was expressionless. The seconds in there seemed eternal. It was then that I realized what he was unaware of that would have motivated him to join the other four in rescuing me. So, I decided to ask him
– Bakugou
– Half–Half – we spoke at the same time. Did he mean to tell me something? Anyway, I couldn't ask him, because the grape and the tape got between them. Needless to say, I parted ways with the three as soon as I could, but for the rest of the day, I couldn't figure out what the expressionless one meant to me.
Dabi
I was sore and numb when I regained consciousness. All the assholes were gathered around the scrawny one who, to my surprise, now gave off a much more intimidating aura. He was conversing with the disembodied mauve figure who served as his lackey.
– What happened, lizard? – placing me at his side. He was the one who was further away.
– I already told you that my name is Spinner! – threatening me with a knife
– Yes, yes whatever – he made a gesture of disinterest. Ignoring my comment, he began.
– You were attacked by Gran Torino – I already remember. The tree guy caught us all and before he could do anything, he was no longer conscious. Damn, if it had been faster, I would have finished him off. – Shortly after he was joined by Edgeshot, All Might, in the company of several policemen – I was already getting bored when I kept mentioning names that didn't interest me – and Endeavor – I stopped my backward movement. – My limbs felt stiff. – We can't do much.
– The second hero was also here? – getting closer to him
– Yes, it served as a support to destroy several Nomus. – I was feeling dizzy. Was I so close and couldn't do anything?
– Calm Down! We managed to escape, didn't we? – Seeing the bluish glow coming from my hands – But the reason we are still alive is because of the intervention of All For One – he was referring to the man Shigaraki calls "professor". – We were taken to a cleared area, along with the explosive boy and those who were still conscious, as Kurogiri was also knocked out. There, we did our best to recapture him while All Might and the other professional heroes fought AFO, without being able to stop him. They didn't want to hurt the boy who was slowly looking more tired. We would have caught him if it weren't for a damn crash followed by an ice ramp – a wall of ice? Was he talking about ...?
– Did you see who made that ice ramp?
– No. Everything happened too fast. When we tried to stop him, the boy had generated an explosion powerful enough to lift him several meters above the sky. Another trio of brats came to his rescue. – His face furrowed an expression of helplessness – We couldn't get close to them because one of those heroes blocked our pa... Where are you going?
– Take a breath, this is a burrow – walking to the exit
– We are being wanted! You cannot go out! – ignoring him
At the exit, I found a ladder that led to the roof. Where we were there seemed to be no activity, as the lights were barely visible on the horizon. Everything around me was completely black, except for the moonlight, which was at best the only lantern for miles.
I am still useless in the face of real danger. In the first meeting with the damn professional heroes I was knocked out without being able to do anything about it.
The muscles in my back contracted with each breath. I was frustrated, but it was a matter of time before I met that crap man.
Hi!
Fact # 13
I thought of just putting numbers to the chapters, then keywords and in the end, I decided to write more descriptive words, especially for chapter 33 "Remnants of a spectrum" (it is one of the ones I liked to write the most).
