Now back in Mahogany Town, Glitchy found Lance in a Souvenir Shop. She caught him in the middle of defeating another trainer with his Dragonite. The strange radio signal was coming for that very building and he located a set of stairs leading down. Following him down she found herself in a strange room with Persian statues. Every time she passed a statue, an alarm went off and alerted some Rocket Grunts. Not wanting to set off too many alarms, she looked around for a way to disable the Persian statues. After defeating a scientist, she check his laptop and found a secret red switch. She pressed it to see what it would do and it turned off the surveillance system. Heading down another set of stairs, she came upon Lance who healed her Pokémon and headed off ahead of her once again. She found a set of doors that held the Radio Transmitter however it needed the voice of a person to speak the password meaning she would have to travel further in to find them
Further in, Lance had discovered a Team Rocket Executive named Petrel knew the password and he was hiding in their leader's office. However that room was guarded by two passwords so now they would need to find two passwords to get into the leader's office to get the password to the Radio Transmitter room. Tidus did offer to eat the door but Glitchy declined, telling him he didn't know who had touched the door before them. So she headed off to find this individual by defeating all the Rocket Grunts she could find.
She was able to track down the first password off a Grunt, SLOWPOKETAIL. The second password off another Grunt, RATICATETAIL. As she arrived at the leader's office, Foxy appeared to battle her which was strange since he hated the weak so what was he doing in a place with people whom he had deemed too weak to be in his presence. He demanded to know who the Dragon Pokémon user in the cape was, something he probably should know giving he lost to them. Foxy claimed he didn't care because he believed he could easily defeat him with stronger Pokémon. Lance had dared to have told him Foxy didn't love and trust his Pokémon which was why he lost, Glitchy just nodded along whilst picturing a bin with any of Foxy's Pokémon he deemed weak stuffed into. He then decided to push Glitchy back then stormed off like the brat that he was. She entered the two passwords allowing her access to the leader's office.
Inside she came across Petrel… no Giovanni inside the leader's office. Glitchy, having personally battled real Giovanni, as well as being told by Lance Petrel was in the leader's office, knew he wasn't actually Giovanni. Shock, horror, he was in fact Petrel, what an 'unexpected' twist. Petrel told her the password for the Radio Transmitter room was Hail Giovanni because of course it was. Of course just knowing the password wasn't enough as she needed him to say the password at the door to open it. She decided to ignore the Murkrow in the corner that she could only guess would probably be able to mimic Petrel's voice, giving her a way inside without his help. She battled Petrel, defeating his whole team with Gatcha. Unsurprisingly Petrel ran off after the battle so Glitchy went over to the 'not-so-obvious' Murkrow and spoke to them. 'Big surprise' the Murkrow could mimic Petrel's voice. She took the Murkrow up to the Radio Transmitter room to open the door.
Murkrow screamed the password at the door, mimicking Petrel's voice. The doors opened giving Glitchy and Lance access to the Radio Transmitter room. Someone named Ariana appeared to stop Glitchy from stopping them, calling her a brat. She threatened to defeat Glitchy and her team with two on one battle instead of challenging her on her own. Lance appeared to help Glitchy out making it fairer. Glitchy and Lance tag teamed against Ariana and a Grunt and won. Ariana told them the broadcast experiment was a success so she didn't care that she had lost. She then left with the Grunts. Inside the Radio Transmitter room, Lance discovered the machine was being powered up by the Electrode so they would need to make them faint in order to turn it off. She cheekily caught one of the Electrode then defeated the remaining two on her side. Lance had defeated his Electrodes then gave her HM05 as thanks for helping him Lance told Glitchy he looked forward to seeing her again then left. She soon followed suit and travelled back to Olivine City to obtain her next gym badge.
