(Volume 1) Chapter 10 - Black & White

Somewhere In Vale

Now back to the Monkey Faunus with Nigel and Blake as she first spoke.

"Finally, she speaks!" He raises his arms in relief, "Nearly two days and you guys have given me nothing but small talk and weird looks!" Blake and Nigel give him a firm look, "Yeah, like that." He proved his point.

Blake rolls her eyes before closing them and looking at him sadly, "Sun..." She calls his name, "Are you familiar with the White Fang?"

"Of course!" Sun answered, "I don't think there's a Faunus on the planet who hasn't heard of them. Stupid, holier-than-thou creeps that use force to get whatever they want. Bunch of freaks, if you ask me!"

Nigel looks slightly hurt when mentioned about the White Fang as Blake sips her drink while listening to him.

"Nigel and I... were once members of the White Fang." Blake revealed.

Sun promptly goes cross-eyed and chokes on his drink, making him put it down and wipe his mouth as he holds up a hand to process this information, "Wait a minute!" Sun blurted out, "Both of you were members of the White Fang?!"

Blake stares at Nigel who nods back before replying, "That's right. We were members for most of our life, actually. You could almost say he and I was born into it..."

"Back then," Nigel added, "Things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between Humans and the Faunus."

"Of course, despite being promised equality, the Faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate." Blake replied, "Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings. And so, the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people. And I was there, even Nigel was here as well."

"I was at the front of every rally. I took part in every boycott. I actually thought we were making a difference. But I was just a youthful optimist." Blake sighed.

"Then, five years ago, our leader stepped down, and a new one took his place." Nigel joined, "A new leader, with a new way of thinking." He grimaces after he says it.

"Just then, our peaceful protests were being replaced with organized attacks. We were setting fire to shops that refused to serve us, hijacking cargo from companies that used Faunus labor. And the worst part was, it was working. We were being treated like equals. But not out of respect... out of fear." Blake explained.

"At the end we become the ones we hated." Nigel concluded.

"So, I left." Blake replied, "Nigel agrees and follows me and I decided I no longer wanted to use my skills to aid in their violence, and instead, I would dedicate my life to becoming a Huntress. So here I am: a criminal hiding in plain view, all with the help of a little black bow." She wiggles her cat ears beneath the fashionable disguise to demonstrate.

"I am surprised that bow works for your team." Nigel replied as Blake stares in confusion, "It seems convenient for that." He explains.

Sun slowly comes to terms with this, "So... have you told your friends any of this?" He asked.

Blake merely looks down in shame and says nothing.

"No." Nigel speaks for her, "She worries about what her teammates will think of her." He replied.

"Oh... But it can't be bad!" Sun suggests, "I mean your team is okay with you!" He pointed out Nigel and his team.

"Yeah..." Nigel smiles remembering his team doesn't care of what he is, maybe he needs to tell about his complete past life...

(Team RW*B*Y & SA*N*R POV)

Meanwhile two teams are searching for their teammates.

"Blaaaake!" Ruby yells.

"Blaaaake!" Yang also calls out.

"Blaaaaaaaake! Where aaaare yoooouuuu!?" Ruby continues to shout.

"Blake!" Yang shouted again.

"Nigel!" Rusty shouted, "Come here pal! Where are you pal?"

"Seriously?" Albus questioned Rusty's words.

"What?" Rusty asks before realising what he is saying, "Oh, right."

Ruby turns on Weiss, "Weiiiiss, you're not helping!" She said, annoyed.

"Oh! You know what might be able to help? The police!" Weiss states.

Ruby crosses her arms in irritation, "Ugh, Weiss..." She groans.

"It was just an idea!" Weiss suggests.

"Yeah, a bad one." Ruby says, walking down the sidewalk.

Rusty bumps Albus with his elbow, "Ice Queen needs to be stopped." He whispered.

"I know, I know, stop calling her that!" Albus refutes.

"Weiss, I think we should hear her side of the story before we jump to any conclusions." Yang said while following behind Ruby.

"I think that when we hear it, you'll all realize I was right!" Weiss replied, following behind Yang.

"It doesn't really matter-" Silver tries to explain.

Suddenly Penny appeared behind him and said, "And I think Weiss' hair looks wonderful today!" She gleamed.

This caused almost everyone to turn around in surprise except Silver.

"Aaaah! Penny! Where did you come from!?" Ruby blurted out.

"Hey guys! What are you up to?" Penny asks cheerfully, ignores Ruby's question.

"Uhh..." Ruby tries to speak but Yang intervenues.

"We're looking for our friend Blake." Yang replied.

"And Nigel." Rusty added.

"Ooooh, you mean the Faunus girl and boy!" Penny responded.

Ruby, Weiss, and Yang stare at Penny but Silver, Albus and Rusty remain normal.

"Wait, how did you know that?" Ruby questions.

"Uhh, the cat ears?" Penny replied as she pointed to her head.

Yang laughs a little before, "What cat ears? She wears a... boooohhh..." She just realized.

And the realization leaves them in silence as a tumbleweed blows through in the wind Silver turns around to see it rounding around the street.

"She does like tuna a lot..." Ruby murmured to Yang.

"Honestly that should've been obvious to you girls." Rusty shrugged.

"You guys knew!?" Yang perked up.

"The bow is already a hint for this." Albus replied.

"The diet is also obvious." Rusty added, "I mean Nigel has his meat fetish due to being a wolf." He said, making Ruby, Weiss, Yang and Albus grossed out as Albus furiously slapped Rusty at the back of the head making him stiff in pain.

"So, where are they?" Penny asked.

"We don't know. They've been missing since Friday." Ruby replied.

"That's terrible!" Penny gasped as she approached an uncomfortable Ruby with a look of determination. "Well, don't you worry Ruby, my friend! I won't rest until we find your teammate!"

While Ruby was doing her best to continue her uncomfortable smiling. "Uh, that's really nice of you, Penny, but we're okay! Really! Right, guys?"

Rusty shrugs, Albus gives a nervous look along with Yang and Weiss. Silver decides to change course.

"Alright we will split up into groups so we can find Blake and Nigel easier." Silver planned.

"I'll go with the pun-ster." Rusty gestured to Yang.

"Huh, sure!" Yang smirked.

"I'll be with Weiss." Albus replied.

"I am going to join Penny and Ruby to give Ruby some familiar company." Silver said as Ruby smiles.

Just then the three groups separated their ways around Vale to find Nigel and Blake.

(Blake, Nigel & Sun POV)

Later on, Sun, Nigel and Blake are walking down an alley.

"So, what's the plan now?" Sun asks as he places hands behind his head.

Blake contemplates for a moment. "I still don't believe the White Fang is behind these robberies. They've never needed that much Dust before."

"Unless they are planning something big..." Nigel suggests.

Sun widening his eyes, "What if they did?" He questions as he lowered his arms and pacing in front of Blake and Nigel as he continues his theory. "I mean... the only way to prove that they didn't do it, is to go to the place where they would most likely go to if they were to do it, and not find them there! Right?"

"That's not going to be easy, they could be anywhere." Nigel replied.

"Indeed we've no idea where that would be." Blake agrees with Nigel.

"Well, while I was on the ship, I heard some guys talking about offloading a huge shipment of Dust coming in from Atlas." Sun informs them.

This raises their eyebrows when hearing this.

"How huge?" Blake asks.

"Huge. Big Schnee Company freighter." Sun gestured.

"You're sure?" Blake and Nigel asked at the same time causing Sun to look in surprise.

(Rusty & Yang POV)

Yang along with Rusty coming out of a shop as she waves to the person inside, "Thanks anyways!" She said after that she sighs. "This is hopeless."

"No need to be worried, I bet the others might be in luck." Rusty replied.

Yang turns to Rusty. "Thanks for understanding Blake."

"I mean Nigel and Blake have a similar history." Rusty explained.

"Yeah, did Nigel tell you guys?" Yang asked.

"Yep, almost everything." Rusty replied, Yang raises her finger to ask something, "Nigel didn't tell us about the bow part, we pretty much figured it out ourselves."

Yang groans in defeat as Rusty chuckles, just then he notices a police car is approaching which causes him to mentally panic. He quickly decides to hide behind Yang and crouches, thankfully the police car did not notice since he is behind Yang and her hair is basically helping him as cover. He sighs before hearing a voice.

"What are you doing?" Yang asks in confusion.

Rusty stood up with a fake smile, "Nothing! Nothing at all!" He quickly replied.

Yang gets suspicious but they need to focus on finding Blake and Nigel so she shrugs as Rusty silently sighs, and was wondering; How long can he really keep the truth hidden? He can't hide it from his friends and decide soon, one day he will tell them.

(Weiss & Albus POV)

The two are still walking around, still no such luck of finding Nigel and Blake. Albus turns to see Weiss and sighs.

"Do you care about them?" He asks.

"Of course I do!" Weiss responded. "I'm just afraid of what They'll say when we find them."

"Weiss, they are our teammates." Albus speaks again.

"Who was part of the White Fang!" She stated.

"Yes, but that doesn't matter!" Albus replied.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"She's your teammate, faunus or not you have to understand." Albus explains as Weiss crosses her arms.

He sighs and begins to speak, "Did you know how it feels for them being so low?" He asks.

"Huh?" Weiss asked.

"You may not know..." Albus replied, "But the faunus has died in your company."

This leaves Weiss in surprise, "What?" She asked.

"Despite what you've heard, that was not the full story." Albus explains, "Your father uses crueler methods towards the faunus including their slavery in the Schnee Dust Company which casues death."

"So how did you-" Weiss asks about how Albus knows this.

"My father was there." He responded, "Ever since he argues about your father's choices. It also led him into a life of..." He cannot finish due to his sorrowness as Weiss immediately knows what he means and looks down.

"I-I never knew it was one of his reasons." Weiss replied.

"I don't talk much about him but in this case I have to..." Albus explains.

Weiss remains in silence, before Albus decides to speak. "Let's just find them and we will talk about this."

(Ruby, Penny & Silver POV)

As the three are walking around the streets of Vale.

"So, Blake and Nigel are your friends?" Penny asks.

Ruby sighs as they make their way down the sidewalk, "Yes, Penny along with Silver." She replied.

"But you're mad at them?" Penny asks.

"Yes." Ruby replied but quickly elaborate. "Well, I'm not. Weiss is, mostly to Blake."

"Is she friends with Blake and Nigel?" Penny asks again.

"Well, that's kind of up in the air right now..." Ruby tries to explain.

"But why?" Penny trying to contemplate this.

Ruby sighs again, "Well, you see, for Blake, she might not be who we thought she was..."

"Is she a man?" Penny gasped.

"No! No, Penny. She's..." Ruby stops and sighs, looking at Penny as she talks now. "I don't know what she is. She didn't exactly talk to us before she decided to run off."

"I don't have a lot of friends, but if I did, I would want them to talk to me about things." Penny suggests

Ruby turns her gaze downward sadly. "Me too..." She mumbled as they continued walking.

Meanwhile Silver who was listening to the conversation at the front but slightly remains silent since he heard about Penny's words. As for Penny decides to ask something out of curiosity.

"Ruby?" Penny whispers out to Ruby.

"Hm?" Ruby noticed, "Yes Penny?" She quietly replied.

"Is Silver your boyfriend?" Penny suddenly asks, making Ruby's face red instantly.

"Wha!? What do you mean Penny!?" Ruby quietly blurted out.

"As in your friend but as a boy." Penny explains which causes Ruby to sigh in relief.

"Uh... yeah, he's one of my friends." Ruby replied.

"What do you think of him as a friend to you?" Penny curiously asks about friendship from Ruby.

"Well..." Ruby looks at Silver and smiles, "He's been supportive to me, he helped me when I have problems with me being team leader. All I can say... He is very nice."

"That sounds very nice for him!" Penny gleams, "I learn that girls soon develop more than just friendship with boys." She added.

"I-I-I don't know about that..." Ruby stutters.

"Then do you think of him more as a friend?" Penny asks.

"I-I don't know, but can you please not tell Silver about this?" Ruby pleaded. "I'm just not ready to talk about this yet."

"Sure friend!" Penny assure with a small salute.

As the girls were whispering Silver is closing his eyes for a moment trying to sense by using his semblance to where Blake and Nigel are, for a moment... He found them!

"I think I know where they are." Silver spoke out causing the two girls to look at Silver, "Come." He gestured as he walked a bit faster joined by others.

(Blake, Nigel & Sun POV)

Amidst the chirping of crickets and darkness of night, Blake lays flat on her stomach on the rooftop overlooking the shipment of Schnee Dust containers along with Nigel crouching by.

"Did I miss anything?" Sun asked.

Blake looks up as Sun drops down to her right, "Not really. They've offloaded the crates from the boat. Now they're just sitting there." She replied.

"Still no White Fang." Nigel added.

"Cool." Sun replied as he held out one of the green apples in his arms. "I stole you guys some food!"

Blake and Ngiel gives Sun a questioning look.

"Do you always break the law without giving a second thought?" Blake questions Sun's actions.

"Hey, weren't you in a cult or something?" Sun counters back giving Blake delivers an angry glare at him with Nigel's face twitching a bit. "Okay, too soon!"

Just as he says this, the wind blows all around them, and they look up to see a Bullhead's searchlights flashing around for a landing spot, descending in the middle of the cargo containers and extending a ramp for a black hooded individual with a metallic fanged mask to come out of.

"Oh no..." Blake asks in dejectly

"Is that them?" Sun asks.

"Yes... It's them." Blake confirmed as White Fang Soldiers left the Bullhead.

"All right, grab the tow cables!" One of the White Fang Soldiers instructs the other members coming from the aircraft, motioning with his rifle.

"You really didn't think they were behind it, did you?" Sun ask

"No." Blake stared sadly, "I think deep down I knew. I just didn't want to be right." She closes her eyes in despair, only to open them suddenly when she hears a familiar voice.

"Hey! What's the holdup!?" The soldiers look up at what reveals to be Roman Torchwick gesturing widely and coming down the ramp, "We're not exactly the most inconspicuous bunch of thieves at the moment, so why don't you animals try to pick up the pace?" He ridiculed.

"Is that?" Nigel asked in surprise.

"This isn't right." Blake said, "The White Fang would never work with a Human. Especially not one like that." She stands up and unsheathes the katana of Gambol Shroud before walking off the edge of the roof.

"Blake!" Nigel whispered loudly.

"What is she doing?!" Sun shouted in alarm by Blake's action.

Blake falls to the ground in a crouch, then continues on to hide behind one of the containers, peeking around the corner to see Roman berate a White Fang member holding a coil of rope.

"No, you idiot! This isn't a leash!" Roman scowled as he's looking around, Blake suddenly appears behind him with her blade at his throat, "What the- Oh, for f-" He rolls his eyes when he's cut off by Blake mid-swear.

"Nobody move!" Blake yells as the White Fang soldiers ready their guns and equip their swords in response.

"Whoa! Take it easy there, little lady."

As the White Fang closes in on her, Blake uses her free hand to go for her bow and remove it, causing the ribbon to fall away as her Faunus ears are shown to the world.

"Brothers of the White Fang! Why are you aiding this scum?" Blake asks in a demanding tone.

The White Fang members lower their weapons a little at this development, unsure of what to do, just then Roman laughs.

"Oh, kid, didn't you get the memo?" Roman said.

"What are you talking about?" Blake questions the criminal.

"The White Fang and I are going in on a joint business venture together!" Roamn explains.

"Tell me what it is or I'll put an end to your little operation." Blake demanded as the blade drew closer to Torchwick's neck.

Suddenly, the air is filled with more turbines blowing the wind wildly around the holdup.

Roman looks up and says. "I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation..."

Two more Bullheads are hovering above the heist, and as Blake watches in horror, Roman smiles and manages to fire his cane at Blake's feet, resulting in a large explosion.

Somewhere Near...

Penny, Silver and Ruby are walking towards the docks. Just then an explosion sound is heard along with smoke rising from the docking bay just a few buildings away.

"Oh, no..." Ruby mutters as there's someone there in trouble!

"We need to go now!" Silver shouted which the three started their pace.

The Docks

Blake, dazed but relatively unhurt on the ground, quickly rolls and runs out of the way of Roman's continued attacks, flaming missiles destroying cargo behind her as she flips and uses her semblance to dodge then retreats behind more containers.

Roman slowly approaches Blake, "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty..." His taunt is interrupted when a banana peel lands on his head, causing him to toss it aside then look up and growl at the assailant.

"Woohoo!" Sun along with Nigel leaps from the container above Roman and drops down on the criminal's face feet-first, rolling up and readying themselves to fight. "Leave her alone!"

The Bullheads open to let more White Fang members descend on the scene, standing by Roman as he gets up and surrounding Sun and Nigel.

"You are not the brightest banana in the bunch, are you, kid?" Roman questions as he stares at Nigel. "And a wolfie along with you! Man these people I met are getting more stranger."

With that said, the White Fang charges at the two faunus, Sun manages to dodge slashes and get some of the soldiers with his fists and kicks until he rolls out of the way of one's sword. Along with Nigel not using his sword knocking out the White Fang but leaving them only unconscious.

"Haha!" Sun pulls out a collapsible red staff. He quickly uses this to beat down on each opponent that nears him, feeling each one in a single flaming blow when he twirls it around, even creating a scorching shockwave to beat the last of them. Nigel still remains not using his sword and is still able to knock down the other White Fang soldiers with his hand-to-hand combat.

Blake peers around the corner of the container to watch Sun jump around and beat another White Fang soldier, landing on his back and causing him to fly over toward Roman's head. The crime boss ducks then growls in annoyance and aims his cane at Sun, firing a shot that he defends himself from just when Blake leaps into the action.

"He's mine!" Blake yells.

"Blake, No!" Nigel shouted as he knocked out another White Fang member.

Blake goes in close and becomes a blur of afterimages as she slashes both blades at Roman, who backs away and deflects each would-be blow with his cane at unbelievable speeds. Blake continues to dash, hop over, and slide around Roman to try and find a weak spot. Finally landing a blow after using her Semblance but he quickly recovers, deflecting several more attacks before attempting to punch her in the face. Only to hit a clone as she flips away. The two clash weapons again, then Torchwick jabs her in the side.

"Hahaha!" Roamn laughs as he lands a few more hits on Blake until one final beating to the head with his cane causes her to go down.

"Blake!" Nigel shouted again, and this time he unsheathes his sword but suddenly Sun blitz past him leaving him in surprise.

Just as Roman deals with one opponent, Sun appears right behind her. Vaulting over Blake he kicks Roman in the chest and disconnects his staff into two spinning circles of flame-firing shotgun nunchucks. Sun swings each gun at Roman while firing everything he has at him, but even with the rapid series of shots and flying bullets, Roman manages to defend himself against every bullet and hit until a millisecond-long pause allows Blake to get a slash in and knock him back.

On his back, Roman notices a container hanging by a crane right above the two warriors, and gets up to fire his cane at its supports. As it falls a slice is heard which reveals the container was easily cut in half by Nigel and his sword thanks to his semblance leaving the three unharmed.

Roman grunts again and aims his cane gun until heard a shout.

"Hey!" Ruby appears on the rooftop overlooking them, extended and ready for action along with Silver and Penny.

Roman loses interest in Blake, Sun and Nigel, waving to Ruby and Silver. "Well, hello, Red and Silver boy!" He looks at Ruby. "Isn't it past your bedtime?

Penny approaches Silver and Ruby. "Ruby, are these people your friends?"

"Penny, get back!" Ruby instructed as her attention is diverted, Roman snarls and fires his cane at her, just then Silver blocks the shot and the explosion by himself thanks to his aura without knockback.

Roman groans infuriating at Silver seemingly how he cannot stay down.

Silver turns to Penny, "Penny, you know how to fight?" He asked.

"Of course! I am Combat Ready!" Penny beamed.

Then Penny's backpack mechanically opens up, and from its dark depths comes a single sword that extends and multiples into several blades hovering over Penny's back. Leaping from the rooftop with the weapons acting as wings, she sends three of her swords to knock two White Fang soldiers down before even landing on the ground, where she proceeds to fling the swords at one enemy, impale another to a wall, create a barrier of spinning steel against a running attack, leaping over a goon with her swords in tow, and finally making a wheel that she throws to knock multiple Faunus off their feet.

Meanwhile Sun, Nigel and Blake observe the spectacle in amazement as well before they decide to run off to safety and let Penny handle this situation.

Three Bullheads come from the skies and open fire on the battle, but Penny merely forms a shield and launches two of her swords into the wall behind her, which in turn pull their wielder back with their strings. When her swords swirl around her again, she commands them to open their points and build up a large glowing ball of green light. With a punching action, several bright lasers crack the pavement when they fire at the transports and slice each one in half, causing several of the White Fang members inside to fall and letting Ruby watch as Bullheads fall in pieces behind her.

Stunned, she turns back to Penny as she aims her swords at the remaining Bullheads holding the crate of Dust and pulls back on their wires, tugging the aircraft with them.

"Whoa..." Ruby was watching in awe. "How is she doing that?"

"Those strings seem to help Penny control her weapon with ease." Silver explained.

"You see them?" Ruby asked.

"I have a good eye." Silver replied.

Seeing the Bullhead's flight fall under Penny's control, Roman grimaces and turns to run towards the last transport.

Penny, after her large green pupils dilate for a second, pulls with all her might on the strings, and the aircraft crashes into a stack of crates, causing an explosion as a result.

Roman watches from the safety of his escape. "These kids just keep getting weirder..." With his observation made, he uses his cane to close the doors, and the jet lifts off, flying away from the lost battle.

Later On

Later, a handful of police cars are at the docks, where Ruby, Silver, Nigel, Blake, Sun, and Penny are sitting on boxes in silence. That is, until Weiss, Albus and Yang *strangely Rusty isn't here* appear on the scene.

"Look Weiss, it's not what you think, she explained the whole thing." Ruby speaks quickly to explain the situation. "See, she doesn't actually have a bow, she has kitty ears and they're actually kind of cute..." Weiss ignores her and squares off with Blake and Nigel.

The two faunus look at each other and calmly looking down, Blake speaks first, "Weiss, I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with the White Fang. Back when I was with the-"

"Stop!" Weiss quickly interrupted. "Do you have any idea of how long we've been searching for you?" She pauses. "Twelve hours. That means I've had twelve hours to think about this. And in that twelve hours, I've decided..."

Yang, Sun, and Ruby look on, worried but Silver and Albus smile knowing what she is going to say.

"I don't care." Weiss concluded.

"You don't care?" Blake asked in surprise.

"You said you're not one of them anymore, right?" Weiss questions.

Blake tries to explain. "No, I-I haven't been since I was younger-"

"Ah-bah-bah-bah-bah!" Weiss silences Blake, "I don't want to hear it. All I want to know is that the next time something this big comes up... you'll come to your teammates. And not some..." She looks at Sun behind her as she catches herself. "Someone else."

Blake looks at Ruby and Yang grinning at her and Nigel who smiles and nods, she wipes a tear from her eye, nodding. "Of course."

Weiss smiles and nods. Then she stares at Nigel, "You are also forgiven." She said as Nigel nodded and smiled.

The moment is serious for a second more until Ruby screams.

"Yeah! Team RWBY is back together!" Ruby waving her arms wildly.

"Wait where's Rusty?" Nigel asks.

"He said he'll be waiting at Beacon for your arrival for no reason tho..." Yang explained.

"Okay..." Nigel replied thinking why did Rusty not join here.

Weiss as the eight gather with each other, she points accusingly at Sun. "I'm still not quite sure about how I feel about you!" Sun laughs nervously at this.

"For some reason I agreed with you." Nigel agreed to the heiress.

Ruby looked around realising someone is missing, "Hey, wait a minute... Where's Penny?" She asks.

"Penny must've something to do, I'm sure you'll see her soon." Silver replied.

"Okay." Ruby nodded and smiled. "Thanks for helping me back at the docks."

"No worries Ruby." Silver smiled.

(Penny POV)

From the darkened back seat of a limo, Penny watches the group of friends reuniting with each other.

"You should know better than to go running around in a strange city." The driver said.

Penny lowered her head, sadly. "I know, sir."

The car's engine is heard starting as the car drives off, "Penny, your time will come..." The Driver assured her.

Beacon Academy

Meanwhile, Ozpin is seen holding a Scroll showing a "LIVE FEED" of Ruby and Silver at the docks. He closes the video and opens up a communication with the name 'Qrow', whose team name and other information is left blank and his only message is:"QUEEN HAS PAWNS."

"Hmmm..." Ozpin ponders at the message wondering what's 'her' next move.

(Roman POV)

Somewhere in a dark hideout Roman walks into a large warehouse with a shadowy interior. He goes over to a table and places down a case of mysterious contents, sighing in tiredness. Just then a boy appears beside him his dark crimson red hair with brownish red eyes. (His info will be revealed in the info page from the next chapter, but for now his name is: 'Crimson', his height is around 4'5" his hair is dark crimson red and eyes are brownish red.)

Before the boy opens his mouth, "I'm not in a good mood to talk kid." Roman interrupts abruptly, making Crimson roll his eyes at his response.

"How very disappointing, Roman." A female voice is heard.

Roman suddenly turned around when he heard the voice and their noisy entrance. "Whoa! Hehe... I wasn't expecting to see you guys so soon..."

The woman covered in shadows along with the other two figures before Roman, only her head, containing yellow eyes and flowing dark hair, is seen, "We were expecting... more from you." She said in a disappointing tone.

Roman laughed a little before getting serious, "Hey! You were the ones who suggested working with those stupid mutts from the White Fang." Crimson furiously nodded while crossing his arms.

The woman chuckles darkly, "And you will continue to do so." She summons a fireball in her hand and steps out of the darkness with her two companions, a grey-haired man and mint-haired, tanned woman, eyes glowing gold with a dark evil smile. "We have big plans for you, Roman. All we ask is... a little cooperation."

This is it! I am done with Volume 1! Now on Volume 2, there will be more interaction with the RWBY characters and the OCs as well developing both relationships. So that means, more dialogue and personality developments and relationships must be similar to the canon plot but something extra in there.
