"Clarke!"
Clarke turns, hearing her name, and sees Finn running towards her with what looks like a black eye.
"What happened to you?" she asks as he stops in front of her.
Finn's cheeks blush, and he fidgets on his feet. "Oh, uh..." he mutters.
Clarke holds up her hand, "Nevermind, I don't want to know." Knowing him, he probably tried to flirt with a Trikru woman and got punched for it. Clarke only wishes she could have seen it happen. "What do you need?"
"Oh, well, a group of warriors and I are going out hunting, and I wanted to know if you wanted to join?" He asks.
Blue eyes just stare at him for a moment. Did he just ask me out on a hunting party date? Clarke opens her mouth to decline his offer when she hears her leader's title being called.
"Skaiheda."
Clarke turns to the familiar voice and sees Anya marching towards her. Anya's hazel eyes are not looking at her but at Finn. The cold glare the General is giving him sends a chill through Clarke.
Clarke turns back around to look at Finn and sees his head down and him rubbing the back of his neck.
As Anya joins the two of them, the silence that falls around them is suffocating, and Clarke wonders what happened between the General and Finn.
"Uh, maybe next time," Finn states awkwardly, only briefly glancing at Clarke.
"Sure," she replies cautiously, and Finn quickly runs off.
"Uh...What was that all about?" Clarke questions the General.
Anya's face is blank, and she shrugs her shoulders. "You're looking better," Anya smirks, changing the subject. "Seems I went too soft on you."
"Oh, no! No, no," Clarke says, holding both her hands up and only slightly cringing when she moves her left shoulder. "You kicked my ass well enough."
"I never kicked your ass," Anya states.
Clarke sighs, not wanting to explain what she meant. "Is there something you wanted?" she asks instead.
Anya stares at her for a moment, then says, "Have you and Heda talked?"
Clarke glances nervously around, looking for anyone who may be in hearing distance, but there is no one. "Yes, well, kind of... she... she told me about Costia." The name leaves her lips in a whisper.
Good, Anya thinks. Maybe knowing about Costia will inform Clarke that being with Lexa is dangerous and not just for her but also for Lexa. The Commander isn't one who goes around and beds others without there being something. Watching Clarke now, Anya isn't sure if that latter account is known to the blonde or not.
"Your dagger use to be hers," Anya asserts.
"What?" Clarke shrieks, eyes wide.
"Costia gave that dagger to Lexa before she was taken. She has never parted from it since. Until I saw it strapped to your thigh." Anya sees her words sink into Clarke and what the dagger must mean to Lexa.
"She never said," the blonde whispers as her hand self-consciously touches the dagger.
Hazel eyes flick down at Clarke's hand, and Anya's body stiffens. It's a knee jerk reaction, really, but when she sees Clarke's fingers trace over the leather-wrapped handle carefully. Anya's body relaxes. Sweeping her eyes back up Clarke's body, the General smirks. The blonde is already showing improvement with her training, but she still has a long way to go.
Suddenly, the hairs on the back of Anya's neck stand up, and hazel eyes scan behind Clarke. Dark green eyes stare back at her, and Anya's eyebrow arches at the jealous Commander as she marches towards her and Clarke.
"Skaiheda, General," Lexa greets them, with 'General' having a slight edge to her voice. Anya almost wants to laugh out loud at how Lexa is acting, but she continues to stare down the overprotective Commander.
Clarke comes out of her trance and whips her head towards the sultry voice. "Lexa... I mean Heda," the blonde falters, cheeks warming. Her blush dies quickly, though, as she witnesses the heated look Lexa is giving Anya. What did she miss while she was lost in her thoughts about Lexa? "Uh...Everything okay?"
Instantly, green eyes soften as they focus their attention on calming blue ones. A small smile twitches at the edge of the Commander's lips.
The sight of Lexa's slight smile brings Clarke's earlier thoughts back to the forefront of her mind. She gave her Costia's dagger. The woman who she loved and who was brutally taken from her. She entrusted her with it. She let her carry it around and train with it.
Clarke's heart soars at what that sentiment must mean. Lexa liked her more than just a physical distraction. She cared for her and trusted her.
In a way, Clarke already knew that, but she was never sure of her beliefs. Her own feelings towards the Commander could have persuaded her into seeing things that may truly not be there. But, Anya's words lifted her doubts and confirmed Lexa was feeling more than just attraction.
Anya observes Clarke getting lost in her thoughts again, so she addresses Lexa herself. "I informed her about the dagger."
Lexa's eyes flick back to Anya's, and her eyebrows rise in shock for only a moment before her face goes into a slight frown. "That was not for you to tell," she warns her General.
Anya shrugs her shoulders, not the least bit intimidated.
Both Trikru women become aware of blue eyes staring at them. Lexa gazes over at Clarke's folded arms and popped out hip. Her blue eyes and face set in a determined expression.
"Care to share your secret conversation," the blonde comments.
Lexa gives the Skaikru leader another soft smile. It intrigues her how Clarke can go from being lost in her own thoughts to an aggressive leader who demands answers in mere seconds. It's that kind of fire that reminds Lexa, Clarke will make a great leader.
"We were merely discussion different opinions," Lexa states, glaring over at Anya, who remains quiet.
"Seems you have a lot of those with your General's," Clarke remarks with a smirk. Lexa simply nods her head. "Speaking of Generals. Aren't you suppose to be with Indra?"
Shortly after, Clarke had blushingly explained what a 'badass' was to Lexa. Indra came in and requested the Commander's attention. Clarke left the two and went back to Nyko's tent to help with the injured and sick. Only to be shooed away by the burly man after an hour of working. She was on her way back to her tent when Finn stopped her.
Before Lexa can answer Clarke's question, a disorderly ruckus breaks out around them.
Instinctively, all three react and reach for their personal weapons.
Anya notices how fast Clarke responds even with her injury, and pride swells inside her. The General is happy Lexa took the blonde as her second. She is showing great promise, and Anya can't wait to continue her training.
Both Trikru women and Skaikru scan their surroundings and witness Trikru villagers, warriors, and delinquents shouting and pointing up into the sky. Anya, Clarke, and Lexa follow everyone's stares.
High up in the sky is a small fiery object shooting through the atmosphere. Clarke's shoulders slightly relax, seeing no immediate danger, but they remain semi tense at what she is seeing. "It's a shuttle," she calls out to Anya and Lexa. All three watch as the shuttle disappears into the tree line, and Clarke wonders if that was a similar sight to what the dropship looked like when it crashed to Earth.
"Klark, that couldn't have been the Ark, could it?" Lexa questions uncertainly.
The blonde turns on Lexa, and the expression on her face gives Lexa her answer, but Clarke replies anyways. "No, that thing was smaller than the dropship. Only a few people could be on that thing."
"It looked to be heading in the same direction as to where the other ship crashed," Anya states.
Lexa nods. "Onya, gather some warriors and search for them. Make sure they are safe and bring them back here. No harm will come to them but stay guarded. They could have weapons from the old world."
Anya nods her head and is about to leave when Clarke comments. "I should go too. If they see me with them, they're less likely to fight."
Lexa considers this and agrees with Clarke, but not for her to go. She doesn't want Clarke anywhere near danger at the moment. "Klark, you are still needed here," it's not a total lie. Clarke still has training, and she's still injured from Anya training her. Lexa sees Clarke open her mouth, probably to protest, but the brunette stops her. "But... I do agree it will be helpful if one of your people goes with them."
Sighing, Clarke knows she's not going to win this argument and runs through an imaginary list of her people. She'll need someone who is well known on the Ark. Monty or Jasper are fairly known, but not enough, plus those two are joined at the hip. If one goes, the other will want to join. Plus, they are still on punishment for their moonshine incident. She could send Octavia, but she looks more like Trikru now than Skaikru. Clarke continues down her list until she hears Anya mutter.
"I should have punched him harder."
Curious, Clarke glances over to where the brunette/blonde is looking and sees Finn giving a young Trikru girl a flower.
Isn't he suppose to be on a hunting party? Clarke watches as the girl blushes and bats her eyelids playfully. Finn grins broadly.
Anya huffs, sounding between annoyed and uninterested in what is happening before them. Clarke repeats Anya's words and remembers Finn's black eye.
"Wait... You're the one that gave him his black eye," Clarke states proudly, finally figuring out why Anya and Finn were acting strange earlier. Anya rolls her eyes at Clarke's statement. Smiling largely, the blonde asks, "He tried to flirt with you, didn't he?"
When Anya doesn't answer her, she glances over at Lexa and sees the smug smirk on the Commander's face. "You know what happened, don't you?" Clarke proclaims.
Lexa does know what happened between her former mentor and the flirtatious boy, but she's not about to tell Clarke about it yet.
Seeing she not getting a response from either Trikru woman, Clarke crosses her arms and says, "Fine, Finn will go with you."
Lexa can't hold back the choke of laughter at seeing Anya's eyes go wider than she's ever seen before. Well, there might be one such incident, and it just so happens to involve the same boy.

Lexa was walking through the village, checking on her people, when she sees the Skaikru boy approach her former mentor.
Anya casually observes him as he walks up to her and stops. He smiles brightly at her, but Anya doesn't return it.
"Do you need something?" she asks, trying to hold back her annoyance that the boy was even bothering her.
"Actually, yeah," he says happily. "Could you take this off my hands? I'm not nearly attractive enough for it." The boy says uncovers a flower he had in his hand and holds it out to her.
Anya is struck speechless for a moment as she repeatedly blinks, hoping her mind will catch up to what just happened. It takes her nearly an entire minute for her to respond, and once she does, she's furious. How dare he waste her time on something so stupid?
With warrior like reflexes, Anya swiftly erases his smile as she punches him in the face.
Lexa has to hide her smile behind her hand as she watches Anya stride off from a possible unconscious boy lying on the ground. When she sees and hears the boy groan and move, she continues her walk through the village.

Seeing Anya's face now, Lexa suspects her General would rather face the entire Azgeda army then be partnered up with the Skaikru boy.
Clarke also sees Anya's reaction and quickly shouts out at the boy before other plans are made.
"FINN," Clarke calls out, smiling as she walks towards him.
Finn jumps at the sudden call of his name, then frowns when the Trikru girl scurries off with the flower clutched in her hand. Finn turns to see who yelled at him, then smiles widely as he sees Clarke walking towards him with a smile.
"Hello, princess," he shouts back.
Clarke ignores his jab and continues to smile at him till she's standing in front of him.
In the close proximity, Finn shifts uncomfortably as he realizes Clarke's smile isn't a friendly one, but more of a cat who caught the canary kind of smile.
"I need you to go with Anya to meet with the people who came down on the shuttle," Clarke states.
It's then that Finn notices the Commander and General following behind Clarke and stopping mere feet away.
"Umm… okay," he says, glances between Clarke and Anya nervously. The latter is glaring at him intensely.
Lexa almost feels sorry for the boy, who looks like he is on the verge of peeing himself, but he brought this on himself. However, she should remind Anya not to hurt the boy. It would look bad if the people on the shuttle saw him beaten and bruised.
"Onya," Lexa says, drawing the General's attention. "The Skaikru boy must not come back with more bruises than he leaves here with," she states.
Finn's body relaxes hearing that he will be safe from the General but immediately tenses back up when Anya comments.
"And when will we be leaving?"
Lexa leaves the question unanswered for a moment letting the boy suffer in this torment. However, Clarke seems to take pity on him and answers.
"Now!"
Anya nods to Clarke, "As you wish, Skaiheda." The General then leaves to pick the warriors she will bring along with her.
Clarke focuses back on Finn, "Good luck," she declares with a laugh. Finn rolls his eyes then hurries off to catch up with the retreating General.
Turning to Lexa, Clarke orders, "Spill!"
