"Maybe they just went out somewhere and forgot to put up the groceries." Alexis says as she and Coraline are sitting in the kitchen after being unable to find Coraline's parents.
"My mom and dad? I doubt it. Not without leaving a note." Coraline says.
"First time for everything. Come on. Let's go for a walk in the orchard. It'll clear your mind." Alexis says.
"Alright." Coraline says.
*Timeskip*
"I guess this is somewhat relaxing." Coraline says as Alexis smiles while the two are walking in the woods.
"Watch out!" A voice shouts revealing to be Wybie as he comes over in a hurry in his bike before he knocks into Alexis as she gets sent onto the front of the bike.
"Stop this crazy thing!" Alexis shouts as Coraline runs after Alexis and Wybie before losing them.
"Keep still and don't shake Ally. If you balance your body and quit moving around so much we would quit leaning." Wybie shouts as he tries to steer before eventually stopping as Alexis gets off the bike before giving him an annoyed look.
"What the heck is your problem!?" Alexis shouts as Coraline comes running over.
"Sorry Ally. I didn't mean to run you over like that. Were you guys looking for something?" Wybie asks.
"Well we would like to find my mom and dad. Alexis says they're probably just out somewhere." Coraline says.
"She might be right. I mean Alexis does seem to be pretty spot on about things." Wybie says as he looks at Alexis.
"Trust me I know." Coraline says as Alexis smiles as the group walk back to the porch of the Pink Palace.
"Well anyway do you still have that old doll I gave to you Jonesy? My grandma's real mad. Says it was her sisters. The one that disappeared." Wybie says.
"You stole that doll didn't you?" Coraline asks as Wybie gives a nervous look.
"Coraline." Alexis says as she looks at Coraline.
"Well it looked just like you and I figured-" Wybie then gets cut off by Coraline.
"It used to look.." Coraline says as she babbles on before grabbing Alexis and Wybie and pulling them inside to the room where the little door is.
"Listen I'm really not supposed to be in here." Wybie says.
"She's in there." Coraline says as she points to the locked door.
"Can I unlock it?" Wybie asks he goes to reach for the key before Coraline stops him.
"No!" Alexis and Coraline shout in union.
"Wybie it's best if that door doesn't get unlocked. Trust me." Alexis says as Wybie looks at her.
"But it wouldn't matter because she can't escape without her eyes. None of the ghosts can." Coraline says sadly.
"So yeah I really need to get that doll." Wybie says as he steps away from Coraline.
"Great. I'd love to get rid of it." Coraline say as she drags Wybie upstairs before Alexis goes to follow only for Wybie to quickly run past her.
"Alexis do yourself a favor and get her some help!" Wybie shouts as he runs out the door with Coraline right after him before he then takes off on his bike.
"Coraline what the heck?" Alexis asks as Coraline looks at her.
*Timeskip*
"Don't you only make wings for the dead ones?" Coraline asks as she and Alexis are watching ms. Spink make angel wings for one of their dogs.
"Just looking ahead dear. Angus hasn't been feeling very well lately." Ms. Spink says as she and Ms. Forcible bicker.
"Um hello? Remember us?" Alexis asks as Ms. Spink and ms. forcible look at her.
"Oh yes. Coraline's missing parents. We know just what you need." Ms. Spink says as Ms. Forcible brings over a bowl of candy.
"How is candy gonna help?" Coraline asks as Ms. Spink then minces the candy with needles.
"There you go sweetie." Ms. Spink says as she hands Coraline a small triangle with a hole in it.
"What's this for?" Alexis asks.
"Well it might help. They're good for bad things sometimes." Ms. Spink says.
"They're good for lost things." Ms. Forcible says before she and Ms. Spink argue as Alexis and Coraline slip out the door.
*Timeskip*
"Goodnight mom. Goodnight dad." Coraline says as she kisses her pillow parents and lays down in the bed.
"We'll find them Coraline. I promise." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form and lays down in the floor.
"Alexis?" Coraline asks as Alexis looks up at her.
"Yes?" Alexis asks.
"Do you care to sleep up here beside me please?" Coraline asks.
"Of course not." Alexis says as Coraline lifts up the blankets for her to jump up on the bed beside her and lay down as Coraline then puts an arm over her. Later after the two asleep Alexis hears the door creak before quickly jumping out of the bed and onto the floor growling viciously and barking.
"Who's there?" Coraline asks as she sits up before the two see it is the cat as Alexis stops barking.
"It's the cat. Sorry fella. Didn't mean to bark at you but I didn't know it was you." Alexis says as she shifts to human form before the cat rubs against her leg.
"How did you get in? Do you know where my parents are?" Coraline asks as she and Alexis follow the cat to a mirror and sees her parents in an icy place as they write help us on the mirror before disappearing.
"Your parents. How did that happen?" Alexis asks as she sees Coraline break the mirror before the two follow the cat into a room and find a doll of Coraline's parents with button eyes.
"She's taken them." Coraline says angrily.
*Timeskip*
"They're not coming back are they? Mom and dad? Not on their own. Only one thing to do." Coraline says as she, Alexis, and the cat are watching the doll burn in the fireplace.
"She will pay for what she's done Coraline." Alexis says as she and Coraline then prepare to go after Coraline's parents.
