Chapter 12th

Lee Stetson was feeling better about his family especially with the baby boy his wife was able to delivered. However now it was time with Robert making it to the Embassy with parking in the underground parking lot. This is where they needed to be careful for any attacks with trying to get into the back door of the Embassy.

Carrying their weapons with Robert parking the rented vehicle. They quickly walked into the combined American/German Embassy. Stopping at the back entrance with two security officers asking for their ID and reason for being here.

Lee Stetson was able to explain with wishing to speak with the military in order to deliver a highly classified file on American and German military bases and so much more. General Godell Franks waiting for the report had been alerted.

An escort arrived from his office from the fifth floor of the Embassy. Taking the elevator to the fifth floor with security cameras all over the place. Lee was nervous in some way that Francine was able to see it on his face. While the elevator stopped to open the door and the four of them walking down the hall with more security officers to asked for their ID.

Waving them on to walk into the outer office of the general to meet up with his secretary Angie Morrishead working for the Americans for the past eight years. "I will let the General know you're here. We have been very worried agent Stetson." she was concerned with picking up the phone to connect to the general's office. After a short moment talking to him. "The general is waiting to speak with all three of you." she said to surprise Robert and Francine.

Walking into his very spacious office filled with photos of the marines, army, navy and airforce uniforms and emblems. General Franks aged 67 years of aged having served for the Marines and the Embassy for the better of 15 years. He was going to be retiring some time next year.

"Welcome." he said with shaking all there of their hands." I must say that YOU ARE LUCKY to be alive with those Chinese agents." he replied with Lee giving him the importance of the file.

"I really don't know what they wanted out of me in the first place general. They did drug me that I know and ever since I had been having flashbacks. And how Sister Mary Lou Andrews was able to contact Billy Melrose of IFF. I need to know that she will be alright for when we head for the states?" Lee had to asked with the request and the general agreeing to the protection.

"Just be sure to give us her address in order to get a protection team to her convent and protect the nun." he responded with calling the marine detachment to put them on alert with the protection detail.

Meanwhile Francine taking out the address with needing to write it down on his stationery for his copy.

Taking a look at the address. " Thanks. Now we need to set up a flight for Lee and you two with getting back home. Please wait in the conference room. Food and drinks will be served until everything is ready for all three of you to leave." The general said with Francine on when they will be able to pick up their things from the motel room.

"Again give us the address and which room numbers. And my associates will be able to pack your things and bring them to the airport catching a helicopter to one of the carriers and continue on from there." General Franks had to say for the both of them without taking the chances they will be caught in a crossfire with the Chinese agents.

All three of them were happy that the file was delivered. Even though their lives were still in danger as with the Sister at the convent.

Enjoying the sandwiches and drinks mostly sodas. After two hours of the food and waiting. The general came in to tell them that their things were on the way to the airport with the Apache helicopter waiting for them.

Moving out of the back entrance with the marines security officers waiting driving a large black truck to take them to the airport. Visas, paperwork and other official items from the Embassy.

Taking thirty five minutes to reach the main entrance for where the Apache helicopter was waiting for them. Lee's leg was begging to throb again. He was hoping once they had gotten abroad the carrier that the doctors will be able to take care of his leg.

Getting abroad with Robert's help. Lee was able to strap in for the ride not knowing how long it was going to take with the flight to the carrier.

An hour later with no issues with the weather, birds or wind. They were able to see the carrier U.S.S. Horizon with over 5,000 crewmembers abroad protecting this sector.

Captain Donaldson age 56 was watching the APACHE helicopter landing on the deck with several medical attendants to greet them and bring them to sickbay for a medical check as with Lee Stetson.

The captain decided to go meet them with taking the gangway heading on down to level sixth for where sickbay was located. He's been the captain of the U.S.S. Horizon for almost six years. Prior he was running the U.S.S. Enterprise until the Pentagon decided to transfer him over.

Sometime Later he walked in to see the corpsmen checking on Robert and Francine. Meanwhile Doctor Florentine inside an alcove was fixing up Stetson's right leg. Cleaning it with all new bandages and antibiotics to help with any type of infections.

"Lee please sure that you follow up with your own physician back into the states. Understand?" he asked with writing out a prescription for the pharmacy on board the carrier.
