Chapter Twelve: Leonardo Vs Shredder

Leo looks up to face Shredder, as he chuckles evilly at him. Shredder then walks down the steps, and stares at Leo within two meters distance.

"Leonardo." Shredder called.

"Shredder." he called back.

After that, Shredder retracts out his claws on his gauntlets, and Leo brings out both swords, and they charged towards one another, and their blades collide, making loud clinging and clang sounds. They were both moving very fast, keeping up with one another's movements. Leo jumps backwards with a flip, and stands in the front of Shredder.

"You've stepped up your game a lot, Leonardo! I might say, even I am impressed." Shredder stated.

"Well, that''s what six months training in Japan will do to you. And I have no idea where you have been for all these years, but you seemed to have stepped up your game too." Leo responded, with a chuckle.

"Very impressive, but unfortunately, it won't be impressive for much longer!" Shredder stated.

He then charges towards Leo again, blades from Leo's swords and Shredder's claws colliding once again. The fight lasted around five minutes, and then they both stopped again and stared at one another again.

"It's like nothing has changed. Just like the last time I beat you, Shredder!" Leo mocked.

"You were lucky last time! But as I mentioned, things are different now, because ever since I destroyed the city in Shanghai, and Chung I's dojo, I now hold the power of Shinobi!" Shredder told him.

"Don't make me laugh, Shred! I have not seen you use any of this Shinobi magic since we even started this fight! I believe you're bluffing, and you really haven't learned it at all. You're just saying you have, thinking it'll be a strat to throw me off my game. Well, it won't work this time, because I know your game well enough. Fought with you many times to know." Leo mocked again.

"Well, you can mock me as much as you want, Leonardo, but you are going to regret ever assuming that I have been mocking you! Don't believe me?! HERE IS PROOF!" Shredder yells in rage.

Suddenly, an aura started to glow around Shredder, and Leo looked on in shock. This glow was so bright, the turtles, Splinter, Rocksteady, Bebop and the soldiers all stopped and looked on in surprise. Shredder was grunting very aggressively.

"What the hell?!" Leo exclaimed.

Shredder then started to grow from 5' 8, to 7ft, and his arms and legs grew more muscly. Shredder chuckles evilly, his voice was dark sounding. Leo looked on in shock.

"Impossible!" Venus exclaimed with worry.

"The Super-Shredder form?!" Donnie exclaimed in shock.

"How did he do it?!" Mikey asked.

"It has to be mastering the Shinobi magic!" Raph guessed.

"I am afraid you are right about that." Splinter feared.

"But, how? I thought you needed to mutate with mutation ooze to become this!" Leo wondered.

"As I was saying, I learned the art of Shinobi magic. And because of that, I have unlimited power! No more ooze wearing off, no more needing it to become this, just Shinobi magic, for unlimited power, in other words, you can't beat me! And don't even bother going for my heart, I have magic to shield that from harm too!" Shredder chuckles.

Shredder then charges towards Leo, and grabs him, and throws him on the wall of the Technodrome. Leo grunts in pain, as the impact hits him. Shredder then lands hard punches to Leo's abs, and a few cuts catch Leo's face, and his arms, as the blades also catch him.

"LEO!" Raph calls, as he tried running towards Leo, Splinter stops him.

"No, Raphael. Even if you did anything, we are no match for him now. Leo would have wanted this, to protect us. We don't stand a chance." Splinter sadly admitted.

Shredder stops punching Leo, and then grabs him by the neck. He then lifts him up, and throws him to the floor. Leo was panting hard, he then sat up slowly, and he picks up his swords, and tried to swing towards Shredder, but Shredder catches the blades with his claws, and he bends the blades, and the blades snapped in half, leaving only the handles intact.

Shredder again Grabs Leo, and throws him towards the wall of the Technodrome again. Shredder chuckles evilly, and Leo pants heavily. Venus looks on with tears flowing in her eyes.

"Leonardo!" Venus whimpered.

"See what I mean, Leonardo? Now I have unlimited power, you are no longer able to defeat me. Even your brothers, master, and the Shinobi are too weak to stop me. And now that you are powerless to stop me..." Shredder chuckles.

Shredder then stands in front of Leo, and raises his blades in the air. Venus looks on with fear.

"Leonardo!" Venus thought in her head, with sadness.

(Flashback)

"You have a home now. This will be your home now. And no matter what happens, by the memory of Chung I, and I swear by the blades on my swords, I promise you, I will keep you safe, no matter what. Whether I survive tomorrow or not, I will always be around to protect you. Count on it." Leo told Venus warmly.

Venus eyes shed with happy tears. then she wraps her arms around Leo's head for a warm hug.

"Leonardo." Venus sobbed.

"I mean it as well, and I am not just saying that for comfort. No matter what it takes, I will always be here to protect you." Leo told her.

(End of Flashback

Venus kept looking on towards the battle.

"...IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO DIE!" Shredder yelled.

"LEONARDO, NO!" Venus yelled, as she ran towards Leo.

"VENUS!" the turtles and Splinter called.

But it was no use, Venus ran towards Leo, and stood in front of him, and Shredder swung his blades forwards, and the blades punctured Venus through her chest. Venus whimpered in pain as they penetrated, and blood was falling from her chest, and her mouth.

"VENUS! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Leo yelled in fear.
